The menu is a lot more limited than other places but it's good. I like that they put the secret menu somewhere. This was the first time I tried the strawberry sunset with aloe Vera and I highly recommend it! Very refreshing on a warm day like today. THE BIG: Located in Carrollton Town Center with all the other great asian restaurants around. Long space interior with plenty of parking in the parking lot. THE BLACK AND WHITE: Glad I was able to revisit 7 Leaves again to validate the taste score. I got the oolong milk tea with crystal boba. The crystal boba is like a lychee jelly but in circular form. The drink came out very sweet. I asked for no sugar and even changed it out, but it still ended up being very sweet. I still drank it because I already paid for it. Cool thing is that they had samples to try right in front which was nice. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Drinks are around $5-$7 depending on the drink and how many add-ons. They are quickly expanding to cities and states such as NV, AZ, TX and making their way eastward on the map. They serve coffee, teas, and macaroons while the flavor and quality is top notch by only using the finest ingredients that are provided. I was a fan of the milk tea as to where it wasn't overly powerfully sweet but just the right amount of sweetness to enjoy and embrace the main ingredient which was the tea. I also enjoyed the mung bean and taro as well but the star of the show was the jasmine tea as to where the tea was bold and robust bursting with herbal flavors while the milk complimented the drink. Make sure you check out this place and give them a try when your in the area because I know you wont regret it. They have a reward program as well as an app and some locations have a drive through such as the location in Grand Prairie, TX. Really friendly staff. I went super early on a Sunday morning and all the girls behind the counter were still so welcoming and upbeat. This place has authentic flavors and stays true to it's ingredients . There is a large selection so, everybody can find something really delicious. We had a special to try a flight of teas. In general I don't love matcha, taro or earthy sweet tea but what I tested, everything tasted pretty natural and retained a lot of it's natural flavors. No syrups or added ingredients. They also have a good selection of coffee and fruit teas. I suggest the strawberry hibiscus tea. Super refreshing. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee. I went back in talked to them about it and they said it is easy ice, but it's the same amount as my other drinks that's normal ice. Best milk tea I've ever had is the Assam Milk Tea it's just super sweet even 50% is sweet so if you want it regular sweet get 50%. and if you want it less sweet get it under 50% and so on I like that they use real milk. The Jasmine Salted Cream is very light in flavor it's like a salty Jasmine not too sweet it's just light in general. I prefer the milk tea but they're both good I'd say maybe add some sugar to the Jasmine cream but you do taste the salt! Overall tea tastes fresh and prices are good too! read more

I can't speak so much about their tea or boba, but the coffee is something else! So first, let's talk coffee: *Vietnamese iced coffee - This coffee is strong! It's a great iced drink for those who typically like black coffee. The condensed milk does not make this drink overly sweet whatsoever. Avoid drinking this past 5pm or else you'll be up all night. *House coffee - This is my all time favorite. Out of all the milk tea/boba shops in DFW, this is the best coffee drink thus far. I literally buy their half gallon house coffee, and slowly drink that during my work week. It's definitely smooth, creamy, and delicious!!! *Mint Sereno - It was my first time trying this today, and I'm in love. That minty and creamy flavor just reminds me of the mint mojito from Philz Coffee in CA. Too bad this is not available in a half gallon because I would be the first customer to get it. My favorite boba shop for mung bean milk tea! Love their drinks in LA and the Bay Area and love them here too! Pictured is their secret menu item (available at all locations I've been to so far), "Barney", which is the mung bean milk tea with taro! Really good because the taro gives it a nuttier taste and helps cut the sweetness. Service was good per usual. Decent amount of seating inside. Look no further if you're searching for quality coffee, milk tea, or study space! I have been to all of the 7 Leaves Cafes in Texas, and this one is excellent. The interior is clean and doesn't feel cramped despite being a small space. There is a very Instagram-worthy flower wall for the picture people. There is adequate seating, and there is sufficient access to wall plugs. The bathrooms are clean, and the employees are pleasant. All of the above culminate to become a 5/5 study and/or hang-out place that's perfect for group study sessions. For those hunkering down with their friends for an all-day study sesh, the cafe is conveniently located next to several shops, restaurants, and bakeries/dessert shops. I have never been dissatisfied with a drink from 7 Leaves. The Vietnamese Coffee is solid and one of the best I've had. The House Coffee, however, is my absolute favorite! It's ridiculously sweet and strong, so get it if you have a sweet tooth. When I say these coffees are strong, I'm not joking. If you don't consume caffeine on a regular basis, I would recommend you not drink too much after 2 PM because you might be up into the wee hours of the morning. While I am not a huge fan of milk tea from anywhere, the milk tea flavors I have tried from here have been solid. I have taken sips of the taro, oolong, and matcha green tea. 7 Leaves has a menu that is fairly unique for a boba chain and includes flavors like mung bean, green thai tea, and sea cream jasmine. However, the drinks here run VERY sweet - I got it at 30% sugar (the cashier called it "easy sweet") and it still tasted sweeter than a full sweetness drink from other stores. At that point, the natural flavor of the milk tea gets drowned out by sweetness. Furthermore, many of the drinks cannot be modified for sugar. I really want to like the drinks here much more than I do. It's a pity that the sugar overwhelms the potential of the drinks offered here. read more

Found out about this cafe a few days back & thought to give it a try! It was my first time there & I ordered strawberry hibiscus tea with boba! It was so refreshing in the afternoon heat!! Also bought some macarons which were amazing! Although, I didn't feel a whole lot of difference in the taste, they were still fresh and tasted really good! However, I expected the macarons to be given in a box but they gave it in a white paper bag ... So idk if they were out of boxes or what ... Soft opening means less lines and craziness! I came here since I was hooked on 7L from Houston and was surprised it actually tastes pretty on par with HTX! Again, the workers here showed awesome customer service. I want to thank and appreciate them real quick for allowing me to fill up my reusable tumbler cup with their Assam milk tea (although they do mix their teas in their plastic cups). So I'd suggest bringing your container that is at least 26 oz since their large size is that amount. Next time I'm bringing my 64 oz mason jar haha. If you want to try a bunch of samples, they've got you covered and are super patient with it. We were the only patrons in the cafe though so I'm not sure if this process would slow others down behind you, but take advantage if you're by yourself! For each drink, you have the option to go easy on the ice and easy on the sweetness, which I find is pretty consistent so far. It may still be too sweet for some people who have high sugar sensitivity imo so maybe just add more ice if needed. I really enjoyed all of the drinks I have tried so far. Some notable ones are: Assam, oolong, house coffee, mung bean, Thai, taro, and jasmine MT. If you can't tell, I'm quite partial to milk teas in general lol. With so many unique options, you're sure to find something that suits ya. Located right by other boba shops, Hanabi, and Kinokuniya, this is a perfect pit stop if you're eating nearby. read more
