His Tea stumbles into the realm of the lands between. Neither great or disappointing but as many might say, "Mid". The real disappointment came seconds after receiving the drink, upon that first sip, I was so shocked at the mediocrity of the drink that my hand accidentally slipped and my drink fell. We let them know hoping for gracefulness, but this $7 financial burden of accidentally dropping my drink, became a $14 financial burden. The staff did not care. The only reason I mention this, is I feel like 90% of small businesses will usually comp this, in the spirit of good customer service, as it was a genuine mistake. But I found myself down another $7. I am glad I got to check out this boba shop today... it sits right under the famous Kirin Court! The shop is very open, simple, and clean. The staff was helpful and gave me recommendations to try since it was our first time here. He was really nice. We ended up ordering slushies - the mango and taro - which were both really delicious. My favorite part of the experience was really the presentation of the drinks. The actual cup and lid of the drinks are really sturdy and I think their HIS logo is so cute! read more

Pretty tasty milk tea but does not have a strong tea flavor like many others I have tried. They are super generous with their boba portions and the boba are small and chewy with a slight sweetness. The container is also very sturdy and feels like something you should wash and keep! I don't live nearby, and I haven't found lychee oolong tea anywhere else. The oolong flavor is usually perfection, and the pearls are usually a generous serving and perfectly cooked. However, I ordered it today and found the tea sweeter than usual, with no detectable oolong flavor, and the pearls were undercooked and fewer in quantity than usual. Since this order (the only drink I've ever ordered here) has been *incredibly* consistent the multiple times I've ordered it before, I'm still giving five stars and hoping today was just a blip. Not too sweet and the boba was just chewy enough. One highlight that sets them apart was the toppings display. We usually stop by this boba spot after dim sum, it's right downstairs from Kirin Court. The boba is good, I got the butterfly mango today and asked for regular sweetness (75%). I personally like my boba on the sweeter side but know this is probably too sweet for many ppl - I recommend asking for 50% or even 25% sweetness if you don't like super sweet things :) Decor inside is great, they use to have a giant mural on their last year full of anime characters, but now they just have shelves with little trinkets. We had eaten lunch at the restaurant upstairs and decided to pop in for a drink. The interior is very bare and there wasn't a whole lot of decor inside. At the register, there are a variety of different add ins that you can choose from other than boba. Price wise it is comparable to other competitors. For a large and with boba, my drink was $6.25. The boba was cooked correctly and tasty. The drink flavor was good too. We opted to get it a little less sweet and I'm glad that we did! Our group came here after getting dinner at Kirin Court. There were already a few people inside. We were greeted when we entered and the first things I noticed was that it was very quaint and modern. There were a few tables with some decor and a clock on the wall. There were several different options and there were 2 employees at the register and making drinks. With how large our group (11 people) was, our drinks came out fairly quickly. I also noted some macaron ice creams in a fridge to the side. When I got to the register, I asked for a recommendation and they asked if I preferred milk or fruit tea. They mentioned that one of their favorite orders is the Taro Milk Tea. Another one he recommended was the Bubble Milk Tea, which I had never heard of. The Bubble Milk Tea is basically black tea + milk + boba so that's what I ended up ordering. I also got regular (75%) sugar and less ice. They had an option to get no ice, but you had to spend an additional $0.50. It was surprisingly good. The black tea wasn't overpowering. I could still taste the flavor of the black tea but the sweetness of the boba and drink was quite good. The serving of boba was quite generous, and probably the most boba I've received of any place I've been to. It was chewy and not too sugary. I also had a bite of a friend's Nutella Macaron Ice Cream. Macarons aren't traditionally that sweet so I was surprised, but it was good. I recommend checking out His Tea and giving Bubble Milk Tea a try! read more

I loved their cups and aesthetic but..my drink was like $6...ehh I got the rose milk tea and the rose taste was definitely strong. I personally enjoyed it but my sister said it tasted like perfume so just watch out for that if you're sensitive to floral smell. Really good! The boba is the not great kind. Vet rarely places here have the kind that's tiny and not very chewy Vs the regular sized chewy ones. Other than that the actual drinks are great! The brown sugar boba (half sweetness no ice) is very flavorful. The tea and milk really come through. Next time I might do less than half because it's still really sweet! They made it in a timely manner and the guy behind the counter was really nice. If I'm ever in the area I'd go again but it wouldn't be my first choice. 4/5 very cute, modern, correct order and fast service! read more
