TP is honestly has to be my favorite place to get boba! Their quality is so good compare to all the other places I have been to. It is a little far ways so only when I am in the area. They now have an kiosk where you can ordered from without having talk to someone/ordering at the front register. I signed up at the end of transaction and actually save a couple cents for every drink which is nice. The place can get pretty busy during non working times but it goes pretty quick.

My first stop of my only 2023 vacation was Northeast of Dallas in Richardson, a hotbed of great Viet food and drinks, and it was a location of a boba shop that I believe I've only ever visited in Toronto. I was disappointed that their bathroom was closed down, although I think there were technical difficulties. I was disappointed with the service, although the cute girls were efficient and I didn't really have a problem with them. And I was disappointed that the milk tea tastes very pre-made. Now that, I do have a problem with. I think I watched them pour it out of a pre-made jug, but even if I hadn't, I can taste the difference. Tapioca here is good but definitely for the price - close to $8 - you would expect a lot better than some pre-made milk tea from a jug, and that's why the star rating is low. Another thing I didn't like about this boba shop is that it automatically adds a 15% tip if you're not paying attention, on the card. And I wonder if the employees even get those, because in a lot of places they don't. However on a good note, this was my first stop of the entire trip, and on my way out of the shop a customer told me that I'm famous on Yelp and it's a pleasure to meet me, so that was a really nice start to proceedings. And if you want to have sex, but not all the way full on intense sex, then maybe just the TP?
My aunt wanted to try TP Tea since she likes their location here more than the ones in California. They have very pretty looming tables with outlets so you can study here if you want to. They also have a couple order kiosks where you can privately browse the menu and order. We ordered the fresh fruit tea, qq milk tea, and 3q milk tea. The drinks came out relatively fast. I got the 3q milk tea, it includes boba, coffee jelly, and qq noodle. Their tea is very very strong and probably has a lot of caffeine. It almost tastes like it's coffee. There's a variety of texture in the drink with all the jellies and boba inside. It almost feels like there's too much because my first few sips were just a quick sip followed by a lot of chewing. I'm glad they don't put in too much CoCa though. I think next time I will stick with the milk tea and not get any toppings.
I wish more boba shops were like TP Tea, as this place had a LOT of tea options and focused on authentic flavors that brought out the tea. I got an osmanthus tieguanyin tea and really enjoyed how fragrant and light the drink was. Service was quick, but there were a lot of people inside when we went so it was very lively and had limited seats
Milk Tea with Boba and Red Bean, 30% Sugar Love that this place is right smack dab in the Richardson Chinatown! So easy to grab boba right after a meal. Cute interior, very fast service. Great milk tea. Pearls are good texture and yummy, just a little on the small side. Red Bean was delicious, not too sweet!
Average bubble tea establishment in Richardson Chinatown that could do more to stand out from its competitors. Run of the mill selections of drinks and toppings you'd typically expect from chain boba shops. The interior looked nice, slightly upscale with plenty of seating. I ordered their green tea with boba and P2 picked the mango pomelo sago. The green tea had a strong tea flavor which I will always appreciate, though the drink was still too sweet when ordered at 30% sweetness. They're also stingy with how much boba they give, yet charge so much for it. P2's mango pomelo sago fell short of expectations. It was not good and a waste of money. Yi Fang in Plano is the golden standard when it comes to mango pomelo sago. TP Tea, if you're going to try to copy a competitor drink, make sure it's good before you add it to your menu . We likely won't go back. This place is a C Tier that we would only revisit if we're going with friends and family.
Finally, a place that makes brown sugar boba with actual TEA in it!! My doctor told me to reduce my sugar consumption, but I'll always make an exception for TP Tea. It is totally worth it. I haven't been here in a long time but decided to try some new things I haven't ordered before. I got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba. Everything about the drink was perfect!! I also got the Taro Green Milk Tea, which wasn't my cup of tea. I personally am not a fan of the green tea at TP tea because it is very floral tasting to me, almost like perfume. There was real taro in the drink though!

I got the pink salt crema green tea - good. Very very light. Next time I'll get 100% sweet. Lychee fruit tea - soooo sweet even at 50%. It was not very good. Our friend got winter melon tie guan yin. It was light and good as well, and I would get 100% sweet personal pref. The boba was okay. A little hard and not very sweet. I like that the drinks are heavy on the tea taste if you like that. read more
We came here as a pit stop and I'm so glad we found this place. I got the regular milk tea and coffee jelly! I was still able to taste the tea and it was super good. I could tell they put effort into their milk tea. I would love to come back to try other flavors. I wish they had one where I lived. Employees were efficient. Parking lot around the plaza. read more
Very good boba tea. The milk tea was very tasty and had a good rich tea flavor. It was a little pricey but was honestly enjoyable. The workers work very hard and the drinks came out fairly fast. The restaurant had a good style and was nicely decorated. read more

Tried the TP QQ Milk Tea and I definitely recommend getting it full sugar. I thought it would be too sweet, but it was good as it was. Service here is good and drinks are yummy! read more

One of my favorite boba spots in Dallas!! Strong tea taste and chewy boba. The flavors are great and very consistent. Service is normal and the interior is spacious for a decent crowd. read more

Ugh I hate to write a bad review because I'd heard this place was good. Also, sorry to be graphic but showing you what I found.... I think it's milk curds all in my tea. Couldn't finish drinking due to all the white chunks :( Took a few sips and was grossed out. read more
As I went to see the Chinese New Year festival at DFW Chinatown, I saw there was a boba tea place at the plaza. I figured to give it a try and also read a bunch of reviews. It seems to have great ratings. I ordered three drinks. Two out of three drinks I tried. The French Puff Oreo was very popular that day when I went in. As I was waiting in line, I saw children ask their parents/guardians for that drink, so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the French Puff Oreo with tea jelly which I never had tea jelly before. Oh boy, the drink was very good! It wasn't too sweet and the whipped cream wasn't too thick. The passion fruit tasted like any other passion fruit green tea I had before so it didn't feel any special to me. I do wish they give me more grass jelly. The grass jelly was cut up quite small compared to other boba tea places I had before. Overall, it is a great boba tea spot if you are in DFW Chinatown. The place is very spacious so they do have tables and chairs for guests to sit and hang out there. I would come back when I'm in Dallas again. read more

This is probably the best boba I've had in Dallas so far. I came here on a friend's recommendation and I wish I'd listened to her sooner. The shop is clean, bright, and overall your typical boba shop aesthetic. They have digital kiosks for you to order yourself. I got one of their signature 3Q milk tea drinks, with boba, grass jelly, and Q noodle (don't be alarmed by the name, it's just a noodle-shaped topping with the same bouncy texture as other milk tea toppings). I got the tea at 30% sweet, and it wasn't too sweet at all. Furthermore, the flavor of the tea was still strong despite the decreased sweetness, suggesting that the tea itself is really very rich. I will certainly be back for more and wish it weren't so far away from me! read more
Easily has become my new favorite boba spot. The boba was chewy and all of their drinks have a good tea flavor. The service is quick even when its busy. The inside is large and they have plenty of seating. Would highly recommend to anyone! read more

FINALLY, made it to TP Tea after loooooooong time since their opening. After my only one experience, I can say this place takes up to TOP 3 favorite boba shops. I tried Wintermelon MT (can't adjust sweet & add boba), QQ MT (all regular), and Strawberry Milk (30% sweet). All 3 drinks were fresh and super tasty. Their base tea is Tie Guan Yin, which is Oolong Tea variant, which I LOVE! All employees are very attentive and as this was my first visit, this cashier I interacted with was super helpful and patient with me as I ordered - thank you! Although, the shop was busy and packed during lunch hour, the store was fairly clean except kiosk and tv screens were down. I guess they just had rush hour because as I waited for the drinks, they fixed the kiosk and the TV screens. If TP Tea was closer to my home, it would be dangerous because I would go here very often. read more

Definitely one of the best bubble tea places in Dallas! TP Tea has always been one of my favorite tea shops in Taiwan, and this store in Dallas is pretty good too. It's located inside the Chinatown, with a huge parking lot right in front of the store. The shop interior looks fairly new, and they also have two machines that take card orders in addition to the regular counter. There are many options on the menu, but what makes them stand out from the rest of the tea shop is really the tieh guan ying tea, so I always get that and make it into a tea latte. TP Tea also has QQ noodles that are rarely found in other bubble tea places. So for me, QQ noodles is a must-add topping! Less ice, 0-30% of sugar works well for me, but ofc there are many other variations/combinations for you to choose from read more

We went in the early afternoon on a Saturday. Lots of customers but they were quite efficient- we were in and out in 10 minutes. I got the Taiwan Classic and it was perfectly sweet at 30%. Was surprised that they came with boba, qq jelly and grass jelly. Overall really enjoyed my drink! The strawberry brûlée looked so good, might have to try it next time! read more

TL;DR - Great tea and nice vibes We came here on Thanksgiving and it was surprisingly busy. I got the Tieguanyin with salted foam (30 sugar, less ice, with boba) and it was really good. I loved the roasted flavor and the salted cream added the right amount of richness. I would get 50% next time because they do tend to make their tea drinks on the less sweet side. The mango pomelo sago was pretty good, but I wish they had used more mango. The boba was a pretty good texture even though the pearls were smaller than I'm used to. Altogether a pretty good experience and I would definitely come back. read more
I've visited twice now, and I love the flavor of the TieGuanYin tea! I read up that it's a variety of Chinese oolong tea, and it tastes wonderful. They're 100% level sweetness is just right for the pink salt crema version but a bit sweet for the plain one (with boba). The boba is a bit smaller than other boba shops, but I don't mind it. I'll be coming back again! Friendly employees and a great place to study! There are USB-A outlets, regular outlets, and accessible wi-fi. read more

Went during their grand opening and got their lemon green tea with boba balls. The drink was good the way they recommended 100% sweetness. Prices was fair. Tea was strong and had that special aftertaste from quality tea leaves. The boba balls were smaller then normal and cooked to perfection. One of my friends said they got a stomach ache with the milk tea after they left. And one of the restrooms had diarrhea per friend. So not sure if something was going on with the milk tea but that was odd. I personally would not go back as I have other shops I like. But this one is good, one of the better ones from my sample of 1 drink. read more

I always heard about TP Tea because of their authenticity for boba and I was not disappointed. The first time I went, the place itself was very spacious and clean. The staff was there to help and answer all our questions. I got a Thai Milk Tea and Classic Milk Tea and as someone who drinks boba a good amount, it was one of the best I've had. Not crazy sweet, very authentic tea flavor, and perfect boba texture. Every time since, Their tea has always been the best tasting and their boba is consistently the perfect texture. Came from far away and just wanted to see Dallas's Chinatown and we found this place. Decided to give it a try and the service was super good. She was very nice when we asked for recommendations and stuff. She recommended us the TP milk tea series and we decided to get the 3Q TP milk tea. SUPER YUMMY!! Average price boba tea place with average tasting drink. I got the TP Milk Tea with 80% sugar and less ice. Not sure what I was expecting but thought it would be their know drink given the name is the name of their store, but it was lacking. Tea taste was faint. Husband got the Taro Coconut Sago. He said it was like drinking the dessert lol. We walked by right before it opened and there were already people waiting outside. We were 4th to order. You can order at the counter or their kiosk. Husband said they're tricky because 15% is automatically added to your order unless you review and deselect it. This is definitely considered a popular spot as customers were flowing in and out. Service was fast given how many customers they had. The ambiance is clean and calm. Located in Asia Time Square, so plenty of parking. read more

Their drinks are decently good and they have some pretty authentic options true to the source (Taiwan). However, I take big issue with the customer-unfriendly policies around rigidity and inflexibility, even if it is to the benefit of the business. My wife was ordering C5 Passion Fruit Green Tea with Aloe, but noticed on the screen-based menu that it includes both aloe and QQ noodles. She doesn't like QQ noodles, so she asked if they could skip the QQ noodles in the drink, to which they said yes. However, instead of just not putting in QQ noodles, they rang up C4 Passion Fruit Green Tea plus an add on of aloe topping, which costs 20 cents more than if they just skipped the QQ noodles. I asked if they could just ring up C5 and not put in the QQ noodles and was repeatedly told no because "that's the policy" and "there's nothing we can do about it". While that's probably true, it speaks volumes to the way the business is run by the owner. First, there's a lack of "common sense" policy. The menu has various "combo" drinks that include toppings in the base order. While I understand a policy of "no substitutions" for those toppings (given varying costs of each different topping), there's no rational explanation for why anyone should get charged more if they wanted fewer toppings. The employee told me there is more tea with fewer toppings and that's why it's more expensive but we all know tea is much higher margin than a topping. Also, by that logic, every topping I get should give me a discount because there's less tea. Second, and more importantly, it tells me the owner has no trust in his or her employees to empower them with any decision-making leeway. It's an unfortunate circumstance and really something that is harmful to any business long-term. I think anyone that works there deserves more credit than that or at least should be taught and developed to be in a position where they could make common sense decisions, especially ones that would both 1) make the customer happy and 2) benefit the business by saving on the costs with no loss in revenue. Ultimately, as some feedback to the owner, some of the most successful and loved businesses in the world have a customer-centric model (e.g., Southwest Airlines). While you may not strive to be a business that's viewed that way, I feel like you could revisit some of your policies that you force upon your employees so that they have the latitude to make customers happy. This is especially true in the boba business because of how high gross margins run (80%-85%+), giving you more flexibility. At the end of the day, what we wanted was actually something that would've benefitted your business, but instead we left unhappy, without ordering any drinks, and unlikely to return because of the bad taste in our mouth. Really unfortunate because, as I said, I think their drinks are decent. read more
