Ding Tea is one of my "ol reliable" boba spots in Dallas. They are usually consistently good with their drinks and they have a big variety of drinks to choose from. This particular location is also SOOO PRETTY. They have a plant wall with a bench under some led lights, as well as some fake cherry blossom cheats with a claw machine. The workers were nice and got our drinks out relatively quickly. They started a new happy hour where if you come in on Monday or Wednesday from 1-6 pm, you can buy one get one 50% off. I always get the wintermelon milk tea here and it's always so good, one of my favorite wintermelon milk tea spots in town. The wintermelon flavor is subtle yet feels more strong at this location. I came here to grab teas for our office after a meeting with another medical group. This place has really good tea. My only gripe is that sinkers are extra and that wasn't well communicated. Great Last year, came again Jan 2021 and the tea game felt weak :( Especially compared to Arlington and Richardson. The customer service is all sweet people and the decor is cute for sure. The milk tea and guava green tea felt more diluted then normal. Taro mash, please do not get, do not recommend Good thing it was not my order of choice! It has very odd and chunky, so its just in our fridge right now. Grapefruit Yakult was my order and I shoulda went with a different fruit flavor like mango or peach, grapefruit is a wacky boba flavor choice. I am curious if there is a difference with yakult and yogurt since I, in my mind was expecting yogurt but their menu shows them both next to each other. Grapefruit was too strong, like the fruit so just fyi so you gotta come in knowing you really craved it unlike I! This has been on my list of places to check out for the longest, mainly because of how pretty it looks inside lol. I tried the Matcha Milk Tea and I wasn't the biggest fan because it was too sweet for my liking. However, I definitely plan on going back and trying other items on their menu because they have a pretty good variety of drinks. Slushes, lattes, fruit teas, milk teas, etc. The interior is nice and spacious; and the decor is perfect for taking pictures, which like I mentioned before, is one of the main reasons I wanted to go visit this place. This place screams Instagram influencers hot spot lol their target audience include scrunchies, crop tops, high waisted jeans, vans, water bottles, VSCO, candid shots, selfies, etc but I'm not mad about it. They did a great job with the "cherry blossoms" and plant wall - I am a fan! They even got the chair every typical hipster own in their very aesthetic dining room. I walked in to be greeted by a group of energetic voices "welcome to ding tea!" And you immediately feel like they just became your best friends as you proceed to order everything on the menu. I like how they have some unique options for drinks but I have to say their pricing is on the high side especially when toppings are not included in any of the drinks. I was going to get komquat tea because that's a rare delicious find if it's homemade. Sadly though, they use syrup so I moved on to ginger milk tea for some spicy kick. A friend who knew I liked tea recommended this place. They recently opened. The interior was huge and the decor was pretty. They were setting up Christmas-y decorations when we came by. I ordered a Kumquat tea. What I got was a drink that looked like lemonade and tasted like lemonade. It may very well have been lemonade... I'm not really sure. Heard a lot of the Ding Tea franchise for a long time now and finally found time to swing by and try it out. Tried out the Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea with golden boba. Not sure what differentiates golden boba from regular boba, but it was still very good, definitely fresh made each day. The tea was delicious and not too sweet, even if it was a fixed sugar drink (can't reduce the sweetness on certain menu items). I also tried the brown sugar MT and it was one of the best MTs i've tasted. The interior of the place is nice too and has a good amount of seats and space to sit and chill. read more

Good study/chill spot. The inside is aesthetically pleasing and also usually quite. It gets busy around 5 but most people take their drinks to go. The drinks here were on the line of what I would consider as tasty. The interior is really nice, very picturesque. The service was pretty slow, roughly about 10 minutes for two drinks. They were pretty busy, but I've seen places that worked a bit faster. We orders the monster milk tea and a signature house milk tea (and others but I forgot the name) The monster milk tea tasted like it only had a small amount of tea and the rest was milk and sugar. The boba had a nice chew to it. But overall just a below basic cup of milk tea. The signature house milk tea was pretty diluted so I didn't enjoy it very much. For me, I prefer a strong bitter tea flavor over sweet. Overall, nice interior, pretty long wait, good pearls, but below average tea. read more

I've been here 3 times in a week and the service has been underwhelming each time. The first time I went, I was asked do you want toppings? I said no just boba.. as I had never heard of boba referred to as toppings- kind of a backwards description since they sink to the bottom of the cup. Needless to say I didn't get any boba in any of the three drinks I ordered. I decided to give them another chance a few days later. The most egregious experience took place this past Saturday. I walked in around 5pm, there were people sitting down with their bobas but no one in line. I walked up to order but there was no one behind the counter. I waited 7 minutes before walking out and going to Boba Heaven next door instead. The second I got in my car after walking out, there was someone at the counter. Surely there is a camera in the back so that employees can see when there are guests... truthfully- if you're open and there are guest inside shouldn't there always be someone at front of house? Now I don't know why but I decided again let me give them one last chance- I asked for boba in all three of my beverages, lo and behold- only in one. I will take partial responsibility since the gentleman working asked me to review the order on the screen- I took a quick glance and assumed it was correct because I stated my order clearly and was not in a rush- there wasn't a line behind me or anyone I would have been holding up. Going forward I highly recommend Boba Heaven next door, it's smaller but the service is consistently good and quick, and tastes just as good. I was suckered by the buy 2 get 1 free at Ding Tea but never again. They also don't greet guest upon entry, not to sound like a boomer but I always say hello to service workers when I go up to order.
