I've started frequenting this spot quite often lately to satisfy my matcha fix. Their earl grey matcha has definitely been become my obsession. It has that vibrant color, smooth texture, and just the right amount of sweetness. I plan on trying more drinks here in the future but as of now, I can't steer away from this one (hehe). The staff is also worth mentioning, the girls I've encountered working the register have had such a pleasant, friendly energy. Inside it's cozy with lots of seating areas which is great because it does get busy in there. Parking spaces are available directly outside or there is street parking around - I've not had a problem finding a decent spot. I got the La Fresita and it was okay. I believe the barista may have forgotten the strawberry puree as I only received matcha and strawberry seeds sprinkled on top. The matcha flavor was decent though. The service was good with drinks being made promptly but accuracy of orders is questionable. Drove up to Dallas from Houston and my first stop had to be matcha! My friend found 7th Day Coffee off of somebody's tiktok page, so we decided to try this spot out. So glad we did cos we loved the chill vibe of the cafe and their matcha lattes were yummy. I got the earl grey matcha latte, while my friend got the blueberry matcha latte. They both tasted similar and were on the sweeter side, but we liked them! My friend liked the earl grey matcha more so we switched but I really enjoyed both. The earthy matcha itself unsuccessfully tried to balance the sweetness of the flavorings. That's our fault though since we forgot to order our lattes less sweet. Today I tried one of their seasonal einspanner lattes with oat-milk and I'm happy I did. The cold foam had a nuttiness that was actually delicious and reminded me of pistachio even though it wasn't. My pro tip for all matcha drinks is to actually sip from the cup and not drink with the straw. I feel as thought you can actually taste the drink and its flavor profiles better this way. Wi-Fi was good, and the overall energy was quiet but social-adjacent--everyone had their heads down, but it felt like the kind of place where you could meet people. The matcha itself was so smooth and had a nice umami and subtle sweetness to it.
