Loved the crepe, my passion fruit green tea, and the fact that the service was really friendly. They have pictures of their crepes on the wall which is really helpful for visual people like me. Richardson has several boba shops; while this may not be the best one, it sure is the most aesthetic! I'm not an interior design expert, but I can say whoever designed A Day Cafe did a damn good job. Now on to the drinks... Like others have mentioned, some of the drinks here are very sweet. I tried the Matcha Latte (ordered 75% sweetness), Thai Tea Latte (100% sweetness with tapioca), and the Butterfly Pink (special menu item, 100% sweetness) drink. I wasn't a fan of the matcha latte; not only was it too sweet, but the matcha wasn't smooth (I could taste the graininess). The thai tea latte was good, but treading the borderline of being too sweet. Tapioca pearls were more on the al dente side. Now, the absolute star of the show was the Butterfly Pink! First, it has to be one of the MOST beautiful looking drinks I've ever ordered. The sweetness was perfect, great lychee flavor, and it even had real lychee fruit in it. I hope they keep this as a permanent menu item. I 100% recommend it if you are a fan of lychee. read more

A Day Cafe is a cute little spot (great for date night) tucked away in Richardson, TX. I had a taste for something sweet after leaving a work event near the area on a Tuesday night and I remembered my uncle telling me that I needed to try the toast there. I was hesitant because it was 45minutes to closing but I went anyway. It wasn't crowded, one guy was leaving out with his order when I arrived. I ordered the Honey Toast and was encouraged by the employee to stay and sit there in the cafe to enjoy it - so I did just that! I am SO GLAD that I took his advice because it was SO DELICIOUS and the ice cream "on top" along with the whipped cream "on the sides" took it OVER THE TOP! I know I will be going back here AND I'll bring a friend or two so we can play the games inside that they have for guests to enjoy while visiting. read more

I put this place on my visit list because the photos and decor was just my style. It did not disappoint! Everything was up my alley (including the music which is very surprising because most places just play generic pop music.) The crepe was delicious, we got the Go Banana which had sliced bananas and nutella. For drinks, we ordered the matcha latte and caffe latte, both with boba and no changes to sugar. The caffe latte way stronger than I had expected (based off someone's previous review), and the matcha latte was pretty good as well. All in all, I don't understand why this location is so unvisited. I was a bit disappointed to see A Day Cafe in place of Sweet Mix and almost did not stop. I'm glad I tried as service was good and crepe amazing. I noticed an expanded menu (will try in future). I came here with my friends to grab some dessert after our meal, so here is my review about the food and service. 1) Food: We got the mango sticky rice crepe which was really good so no complaints there. We also got the watermelon shaved iced which was disappointing. I wish they had more options for shaved ice but watermelon was the only flavor they served. It wasn't what we were expecting. Instead of a fresh watermelon flavor, it tasted very artificial and too much syrup. They also did not add the correct toppings we asked for. 2) Service: The workers were very nice and quick. One little hiccup was that they forgot about our shaved ice until we made eye contact with them and they remembered to make it then. But it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, I would say my experience was okay. I would still come back for the crepes and other stuff though. read more

I got the 4 season fruit tea lite sweet (25%) and the flavor was very good and refreshing but it was very sweet! It tasted like 80 or even 100% sweet from other places.
