Visiting my brother in Plano and needed a nice coffee shop with pastries. So I gave this place a try and it was a good find. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. There is also plenty of seating indoors. There is even an events room and a prayer room. It is very calming and aesthetically pleasing. A great place for studying or working. I wished I was hungrier because there were so many pastries to choose from. I really liked my Coco Stacahio from their Fall Menu. The combination of coconut, pistachio, and white chocolate was perfection. It wasn't too sweet. I will definitely have to come back here the next time I'm in Plano. read more

I always love coming here, to get an iced Yemeni chai and a flavorful empanadas. Today I had the butter chicken impansad and it was so delicious. I came here for the $1 latte special and will definitely come back!! The cafe is super spacious, with a huge separate room (apparently reservable) and a main seating area around the counter. They also had a dedicated prayer room. I got the date cardamom latte with half sweetness and less ice. I loved how the aromatic notes balanced out with the sweetness from the dates. My brother got the same but with default sweetness and wished he ordered lower sweetness. We also ordered the biscoff latte with no adjustments and it was great. The service was a bit slow (we waited 20 minutes for our drinks to come out) but that might have been due to the promotion. The drinks were worth the wait, but just something to be mindful of if you're in a rush! read more

Yep, 5 stars! Customer service is awesome here. No slouches in the the Food and drinks department either! The ambiance is nice and open with lots of seating. They have an events room which was being used today so it was packed! They have a small prayer room as well. Only complaint, lots of hard surfaces so it gets loud inside. I enjoyed my biscoff latte. It was not too sweet which i appreciate at my age. Halwa chocolate croissant was good. I also had tea, got ambitious! ,twas a respectably good tea. Note to management and pro tip time! They have two types of caps. The shiny plastic and matte plastic. The matte plastic don't fit snug. 2 of 3 people in our group had the top pop off and tea spilled. It's hot but fortunately not McDonald's hot if ya catch my drift. That said, if you get the matte plastic cap, request the other one. It fits in small and medium cups. Managment team please consider nixing the matte caps. I tried to tell them as i left but they were in the kitchen and i didn't wanna wait. Customer service notes. The aforementioned spilled tea, they came and wiped our table quickly despite being busy. My friend requested paper towels to do it himself but they still did this. We visited during their grand opening today and were greeted by a line stretching outside the café. Thankfully, the weather wasn't too bad. We arrived at 5:15 PM and placed our order by 6:30 PM, meaning it took us an hour and fifteen minutes from arrival to order. While we anticipated a busy café we didn't expect such a lengthy line. The wait was further exacerbated by the fact that they only had one POS system for taking orders. Considering the café's size, having 2 registers would be a worthwhile improvement. Here's what we ordered: * Hot Date Cardamom Latte * Iced Biscoff Latte * Baklava Cheesecake * Knafeh Cookie Each item was delicious, and I'd gladly visit again for them. This coffee was soooooo good, I will absolutely visit again when Im in the area. Very big space, people were doing arts and crafts or group studies. There is also separate quiet space for others working. I had an iced lavender latte, which didnt taste like lavender but it had a lot of flavorful that made up for it. ORDER Biscoff Latte Iced - there are little pieces of the biscoff cookie in it. That also gave a nice flavor. I definitely wasn't expecting that texture, but it's not too bad. It's a very creamy coffee, but not super sweet. Probably one of my more favorite iced lattes around the area. Jasmine Peach Refresher - a little bit on the sweeter side, but you can definitely taste the peach flavor over the jasmine. Refreshing and looks pretty! VIBES This place is great for studying. It's really spacious with lots of natural lighting. There's also wooden tables with cute aesthetic cream, colored chairs. They also have plants throughout that give a very natural feel. There's also a smaller room area with couches and more of a lounge vibe that you can book for events. SERVICE It took a little long for the person to come out and get our order, but she was really nice. Gave really good recommendations. This coffee shop is quite unique, due to the fact it's a Muslim cafe/lounge that is very diverse and full of peaceful people. There's a prayer room that is open to anyone to use. The lounge area is huge and pretty comfortable, you can sit and play games for hours, all while having WiFi available if you need. If you're considering hosting a private event here, I would strongly recommend saving your time and money. As a former customer, I chose to host my event here because I trusted that the experience would be just as good--unfortunately, that decision ended up being my biggest regret. We arrived 30 minutes early to set up, after being charged additional service fees for furniture and for having the tables and seating arranged ahead of time. Despite clearly discussing these expectations with the manager, Nothing was prepared when we got there. We walked into a space that was not arranged and had to set everything up ourselves within the limited 30-minute window we were given. At the end of the event, we were abruptly told there was another party scheduled just 30 minutes after ours, which turned out not to be true. We were rushed out of the room while many of our guests were still present. Staff even began mopping the floors before giving people enough time to gather their belongings and leave, which felt incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. Overall, the service was disorganized and disappointing. Staff, workers, and the owner were Extremely rude and thoughtless. And her management failed to deliver on what was promised--despite the extra fees we were charged. There are plenty of other venues that will provide a smooth, well-prepared experience without juicing you for every small detail. The lack of preparation and transparency, poor communication, and disregard for our guests made what should have been a special event unnecessarily stressful. This coffee/pastry shop was such a pleasant surprise!! The actual interior itself looked gorgeous and very well decorated, the place smelled amazing as well. Sadly didn't get to try the coffee this time around, but I did get one of their "3D Fruit Pasteries" (a new menu item btw!) The girl who worked the counter that day was extremely sweet and struck up a conversation with me, I loved hearing her recommendations as to what to try next, she was incredible! They also had a room for prayer and have such a great statement on their website in their "About us" section, stating how their goal is to create a welcoming space for all and how the foundation of this quaint coffee shop chain started with an initiative against anti-muslim sentiments. Also I'm unsure if *all* of their menu items are Halal, but they do offer some! I've seen those viral fruit-shapped pasteries so many times on TikTok, I was so excited to see that they had them here! I think I want to focus on coffee shop reviews for awhile now because there's just something unique about them in the way that people gather there. They may be meeting friends, they may be working on something on their laptops or just needing a quiet place to be, and coffee shops are perfect for those pursuits. They may also be like me today - needing a coffee infusion on my way somewhere else. So coffee shop number one is this one MOTW coffee on 14th St. in Plano by the Kroger. In its place was once a CATO fashions. I used to shop there when it was. So when I saw it was now being used for coffee and pastries my curiosity was high. Today I stopped by on my way somewhere else I had to be, and I was amazed by how beautiful it was when I walked inside. Large clean space and beautiful lighting. It becomes apparent right away that it is owned by people of Muslim faith. There are beautiful lights hanging from the ceiling and what I took to be Quran scripture painted on the wall. The cashier was very nice and quietly friendly. I ordered a white chocolate coffee and an earl gray loaf. Both are very good. I only had a brief wait, but I noticed that they are sponsoring a program where you donate gently used shoes for other people and sensed that there were other ways that they are participating in community outreach in service to good causes. I thought this was amazing. I didn't stay long so I didn't notice what all else that they had but that they have large spaces within and it's a very clean space. I would definitely return. read more

Coffee was good, the only thing that was not good was how long it took to get my order and my friends. I ordered a latte, and my friend ordered a refresher and a muffin. They made her refresher in 25 minutes.....forgot her muffin after an HOUR. The lady apologized and said they completely forgot about it. Mind you there was only 3 tables on the floor...they brought my drink 40 minutes after I ordered and I had to ask if they made it yet. Beautiful place. Incredibly spacious interior. Gorgeous, clean. The coffee was great, they have really good beans. The croissant I got was just okay, but not bad. Pissed I don't live in the area anymore, I would have been here everyday. I can't wait to bring my mom. Nice selection of flavors. I got a latte with biscoff syrup, wife got one with white chocolate. Been here many times, and the staff is amazing each time. I usually go with a mocha or iced vanilla latte, which are both great. Their empanadas are very unique and halal! The ambience is what makes them special, the shop is very spacious and nicely lit. I've also personally interacted with the managers, who go out of their way to satisfy their customers.
