I love supporting family-owned, local businesses, and on my trip to Dallas, Coffee Del Rey seemed like the perfect spot that checked all the boxes. The Madame blueberry intrigued me as I am a huge fan of blueberry, but I was craving more caffeine than a matcha would provide. The staff were very helpful in suggesting and accommodating a latte with the blueberry flavor in it so I could get exactly what I wanted. The care that was put into the drink was very much appreciated, and combined with the peaceful atmosphere of the interior, my experience was great. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Dallas!

Berry blast & coffee del Rey
    Brandon R.

Ordered the Berry blast coffee, and the coffee del Rey. The berry blast was very good. I did request to get one less pump, which made it perfect in my opinion. The Delray coffee was great as is, with a hint of cinnamon & brown sugar at the end of every sip. Not only that, but the barista made sure that the coffee drink was mixed thoroughly by shaking it up and down to mix the coffee, syrup, and milk. Although this should be a standard & is a small gesture, I feel like not every coffee shop does that so it was very nice to see at this spot. The service was very professional and friendly from the two hosts. They created small conversations and provided insight on their preferred coffees and helped pick coffee beans to take as well. The ambience is very welcoming and cozy!

Saw this on Google (I know, the enemy of Yelp but so be it) one day and decided to check it out. It's in a very unassuming shopping center off 75 but once you enter you're transported to your little coffee oasis. It's a smaller shop but gives the "your local coffee shop" vibe that makes it feel uniquely Plano. I was greeted by Isai who has a good spirit to him and made the experience truly enjoyable. I asked him what I should try and he recommended I try the Del Rey Latte. It has hints of brown sugar and cinnamon and is perfect to start your day. While Isai was preparing it we talked and chatted and it just really felt good to be there compared to some more corporate coffee shops. Overall, I cannot recommend this place high enough. Definitely give it a shot, it's worth the drive. I'll for sure be back!

    Iced latte

Just ordered coffee here and it's delicious. I like to find random coffee shops when traveling and happened upon this one. Coffee is excellent. I had a latte. Pastries looked delicious but I'm on a diet. Service was quick and friendly. Love their mission.

Cold brew on tap at home.

When I moved from working in office to WFH, the one big thing I missed was the nitro cold brew keg on tap my old office had. I'm a big coffee drinker and needed to duplicate that setup at home. Mario guided me through everything I would need and came and set everything up for me. I now have regularly delivered cold brew in my home office. Great coffee and great service!

Roastery and coffee shop for everyone at this mom and son shop. You can partake in cupping and the roasting experience but ask for that schedule. Those that want a more sophisticated experience come on Tuesdays and ask about the free pour deal. Ambiance is a pick up and go or briefly sit and enjoy in this cozy small space.

Bar area, charging port, funny people!

Best place to get some coffee in Plano. People are genuine here from workers to all customers loved the vibe nice theme of wood and greenery. Their beans are sourced straight from the farm. Come join!!!

Tucked away in a plaza off 75 in Plano, delicious coffee! I got the Del Rey Latte, definitely one of my top spots to grab coffee from now on‍

Cute little coffee shop hidden in Plano! The latte was great, tasted good and reasonably priced. There isn't much seating and the coffee shop is small, more of a grab and go spot.

The environment was welcoming and they have so many drink and food options to offer. I was deciding between the cold brew and iced coffee when it was kindly suggested I try the Nitro Cold Brew w/vanilla syrup instead. So I did. It was incredible! So smooth, so tasty! It was liking drinking a dessert. For having been in the area for years and never having tried Black Rifle I went back three times this week to get the nitro - it is that good! The menu options are plentiful and unique. The service is exceptional. This is what I had: 1st visit: Coffee: Mocha covered cherries,10/10 very unique flavor profile. The cherry flavor is there along with the chocolate. They make their own chocolate milk. The mix of flavors is spot on. Veggie omelet: 8/10 the crust is flaky, the ingredients are fresh and well balanced. There is an even ratio of veggie to egg. It boils have used a but more seasoning. 2nd visit: Coffee: Graham cracker latte, 10/10 strong toasty coffee flavor. I could not taste a distinct graham flavor although the balance of flavor is there. It is pleasing to the palate. Cranberry Cider: 10/10 great flavor. It was warm and inviting. It felt like a warm hug near a fire place. Bacon, cheddar, chive, scone: 10/10 seasoned well due to the mix of ingredients. The bacon was crispy, the cheddar is present and gooey, the chive is like the hall monitor that keeps everything together. The scone is moist and not too dense. I enjoyed it. Breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg: 10/10 the bread is thin and crispy. They took the cheese off by request. The bacon has a great flavor but could have been crunchier. The egg is perfectly over easy and has the perfect balance of a soft and gooey yolk.

The only small downside was that they weren't as hot as I usually like, but that's an easy fix -- I'll just ask for extra hot next time. Someone else in our group tried the apple cider and said it was okay, but it tasted more like warm apple juice since the spices you usually expect in apple cider weren't noticeable. Overall, a solid spot for coffee, especially if you're in the area and craving a smooth latte. Would definitely come back and just customize the temp next time.

We quickly perused the remaining pastries and chose a dark chocolate croissant for me as well as a milk chocolate cannoncino for the kids to share. I added a medium, hot, almond milk latte to the order. The pastries were served in a cute white box, rather than being thrown into a paper bag like other places do. I'm happy to say they stayed intact or the drive home. The croissant was warm and the cannoncino chilled. The croissant was dense, not fluffy or flaky, there was almost a doughiness to it. It was packed with chocolate and I could tell it was dark chocolate. I wasn't a fan of the dense dough and after a few bites I was done. The kids both tried to finish it but said it tasted lemon-y and weren't fans. The kids liked the chocolate and pastry of the cannoncino. At first sip the latte tasted good. Well balanced espresso and almond milk. However, after the foam settled the cup was maybe 3/4 filled and my stomach got really upset within a few minutes of drinking the latte. Not sure if it's the type of almond milk used or if the cup used to steam the almond milk had previously been used for cow's milk, but either way it didn't sit well for me. I'm glad we tried Palmieri and would definitely recommend it to others. It's an out of the way spot that has plenty of indoor seating and decent parking too. The service is friendly and welcoming and there are a lot of drink options and food choices as well.

I've been to Italy many times and the coffee and pastries feel like I'm there if I close my eyes. I've come several times before writing this as it's been so perfect each time I had to test that. And sure enough, today was again a 10/10. The savory pastries never disappoint. Had the chicken one today and let the wife taste it. Big mistake. It was gone! Next time I'm getting two. But all the pasties are phenomenal. Try the croissants (dark chocolate, milk chocolate., vanilla and plain). and the little oval pies are true artisanal baking. You can't find these little gems anywhere but Italy. I met the owner. Corrado Palmieri, an immigrant from southern Italy. A brilliant finance professional educated in England, who came to Dallas to get his MBA from SMU. Upon his return to Italy he realized he must follow his dream in America.
