Such a cute cafe which also has a food menu. It gives a cute and elegant small downtown feel as you can walk around a little with other restaurants on the small strip. Street parking up front.
I swore I would try a different drink this visit but I couldn't resist getting the Habibi latte again. You can taste the rose and cardamom so well, I love it
I had an hour to kill in DFW, so I did what any good New Yorker would do - ride public transit (DART) to the nearest Qahwah outlet (La Souq). The name suggests a posh French-influenced Beiruti vibe, which sounded perfect. The space is beautiful. I was about to have dinner and so didn't sample the food, but settled on a glass of karak chai. Normally I wouldn't trust an Arabic outlet with what is a desi specialty, but they made a very tasty preparation with a pleasantly aromatic, if untraditional, dose of zafran.
I absolutely loved my experience at La Souq! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away with the mediterranean decor. It was warm, inviting and beautifully detailed. La Souq gives a cozy and cultural vibe that makes you wanna stay a while. I ordered the Habibti latte, iced an added caramel, and it was so good. I loved how the latte was perfectly balanced, fragrant, and very delicious. This is easily one of the best specialty lattes I've had in a long time. My entire experience was amazing and I can't wait to visit again. If you are in the area, the spot is definitely a must visit.
Stopped by La Souq Coffee with two others and shared an almond croissant. Two of us ordered the Fig & Cinnamon Latte, and one got the Habibti Latte (rose + cardamom). All the drinks were really good, but the Habibti Latte was my favorite. Great presentation (the latte art is lovely) and friendly service. Though I went another time and service was good but not as friendly as it was this time. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
I came for their BOGO they have that is M-F 7-9 am until January 2rd 2026 I believe (check their instagram page though. I got the pista affogato which was solid. Nice strong coffee and the pistachio ice cream had lots of pistachio chunks. The forgot to apply the BOGO but gave us cash afterwards which was so kind of them. Good place to study and outlets on the booths. I stayed here for a long time and didn't feel pressured to leave at all.
I've ran by this shop so many times and decided to actually stop inside. It's SO BEAUTIFUL in here. There's plenty of seating around and the decor is nicely done. I got the iced lavender honey latte and added a pump of sugar free vanilla. The honey kinda gooped at the bottom, but the flavors were good.
My cousin and I love hunting down high quality cafes in Dallas, and La Souq had recently caught her eye. The wave of Muslim owned coffee shops are definitely taking the country by a storm and we are absolutely here for supporting our local coffee roasters and business owners as well giving wings to much needed social third spaces. La Souq is located in the heart of Richardson right on Main Street. With ample parking and lots of seating both indoors and outdoors, this establishment really sets itself apart as a perfect place to unwind and have a little pick me up. I especially love the neutral earthy tones of the interior, blending timelessly and giving an elegant and airy, open vibe to the entire space. If I lived in Dallas i would be here every weekend with my laptop. The cashiers are always super kind and friendly, always greeting you with a smile. I haven't tried any of their baked goods because I am religiously a matcha girly through and through. The matchas I've gotten here have been pretty good for the most part but the quality does vary slightly depending on who is making them. The vanilla matcha had no sweetness to it whatsoever which was very odd. Same goes for the fig matcha, the syrup was just not cutting it in flavor and the whole drink felt very milk heavy. I always ask for an extra shot of matcha and they just two times my drink just wasn't made strong enough. However, this past weekend I finally got my wish with the strawberry matcha which was made very very well and I was blessed with the extra matcha just as I like it. I think they should definitely work on standardizing drink consistency and quality to keep repeat patrons happy. Other than that I find this to be a wonderful gathering spot where my cousin and I love to come hang out and enjoy being around community and people of all walks of life.

This place is super cute with plenty of indoor seating and lots of parking, which is always a plus. The coffee is great, and their quick dessert bites are delicious too. I always ask for balanced sweetness in my coffee, and they get it just right every time so no complaints at all. The space is also very aesthetically pleasing, making it a lovely spot to relax or catch up with friends.
The light atmosphere is wonderful! Love that the cafe is located directly under an apartment complex so it's very accessible to those nearby. I've tried a handful of their drinks now and my personal favorite is the cinnamon & fig latte!

It was our first time here and the place was very very nice. We didn't know what to get and the lady worker was very nice to recommend us their signature drinks and answered our questions. The interior was very spacious with a lot of seatings and bright lights. We decided to go with the Habibti Latte and Rose Pistachio Matcha. The Habibti latte came with rose and cardamom, and it was really good, very light rose flavor. The pistachio matcha was good too but I wish there was more pistachio flavor, since the rose flavor was more dominant. The default matcha latte comes with 3g of matcha, but you could pay $1+ more to get 6g of matcha as well. I would highly recommend :) read more

ambiance was great, we had a cute window booth. matcha mint chip from their summer menu was nice and sweet, 1 scoop of matcha was perfect! iced chai and dubai chocolate cake also were yummy :) would visit again!! Another favorite cafe in the DFW area. I've been here 3-4x since it opened. Every single drink i've had has been delicious and I'm especially enjoyed the creative seasonal lattes. My favorite, hands down, has to be the zaatar latte. Probably the most unique flavor combination I've tried. The orange cardamom bun was also so good, I tried to recreate it at home. Anything that makes me want to go home and bake is a triumph in and of itself. The space is gorgeous. Lots of seating and big windows so plenty of natural light. Big enough space to hangout with friends or get some work done. Service is appropriately quick with lots of attention paid to presentation. read more
This is such a gorgeous coffee shop with so much bright and natural lighting! The seating is so comfortable. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely study date here, and there was tons of parking so you don't have to be stressed about that. I ordered a fig cheesecake for us to share and a fig and cinnamon latte. I loved the latte. It came beautifully plated, and the coffee was light and well balanced. I couldn't taste the fig as much, but the cinnamon was such a nice light touch. I loved the cheesecake. It was a perfect size for the both of us to share, and the fig jam was marvelous. Such a beautiful interior makes you want to study/work hard! There are plenty of outlets for laptops, and I saw a lot of people working inside. I will definitely be back again. read more
La Souq's got a trendy vibe going for it. It's got a sexy interior with lots of seating inside. The day i came here they were having a pop up mart in collaboration with a few small, homegrown businesses. Good on them for having events like that . Service wise not much to say. Staff was polite. We asked about a few menu items and they gave us recommendations. So on to the food. They have some unique lattes here. All with Middle Eastern flair of course along with the requsite variety of chais so there is a lot to try. They also have different kind of pastries of which we tried a couple featuring pistachio in different ways. I tried a cappuccino which was solid and had a taste of my wife's drink which was interesting but not to my liking flavorwise. She liked it though. Generally everthing was good an about how you'd expect. They are on the pricey side, on a comparitive basis so that's my only knock. That said you couldn't do qeong if you chose to spend an hour or so here for a drink and some snacks. read more
DRINKS Fig and Cinnamon Latte (Hot) - the latte is pretty good. Has a good cinnamon taste, and the fig isn't too noticeable. The drink itself is not too sweet and just tastes very light and delicious! VIBES The place is really clean and gives a modern aesthetic. There are woven chairs and boots seating. There is also wooden seating for two. The interior is well lit by the windows surrounding and the white give it a nice clean vibe. SERVICE Service is great! Ambiance - beautiful and aesthetic! Service - nothing outstanding but good and the staff seemed pleasant and helpful Price - there is a very saturated market of middle eastern coffee shops in Richardson/Plano and this is the most expensive for the area. I really enjoyed my cinnamon and fig latte but it was $7.50 for a 12oz size. I thought it was good but for that price it won't become my go to. I also got the saffron eclair which was $15! It definitely was not worth the $15 to me - more around $7/8 for a fancy pastry. My total for coffee and eclair was $23.20. I tried it and enjoyed it! However, due to the higher prices I won't be a regular. read more
Ah, another coffee shop in Richardson. But hey, if anyone's going to cut through the endless parade of ethnic-inspired boutique coffee shops, it's going to be this one right? Let's talk details. The space? Gorgeous. The modern, sleek aesthetic is complimented by a flood of natural light that makes you feel like you're drinking your overpriced cappuccino inside a Pinterest board. It's centrally located, with an attached parking garage and ample space to spread out and either talk, work, or disassociate. This is a big win over similar spaces right down Main. But, La Souq is missing the mark in three key areas: pricing, inventory, and staff. I went opening weekend so depleted inventory is somewhat expected but, it seemed like they never had most of the pastries or light bites in inventory which is fine but, don't advertise them and/or give recommendations for alternatives on the menu. Which leads me to my biggest qualm, the main clerk. Again, I went opening weekend but, the poor gal at the register looked completely overwhelmed. She seemed confused and even intimidated by the crowds, noise, and menu. Failed to give relevant recommendations about the menu and was whispering. The price tag definitely feels a little steep ($8+ for a small) for what you get, especially in an already crowded market. But you know what? I'm holding out hope. With a little more polish on the staff and some inventory adjustments, this place could really take off, especially come Ramadan! read more

We first saw this place on Instagram and thought it looked very trendy. It is situated at a corner of a building but there was ample of parking! We ordered the fig & cinnamon latte, the alaskan aurora, and the zaher lemonade and everything came out quickly. We didn't hear them call us because they don't have a mic so be attentive to when they send out your order. The fig & cinnammon latte was pretty good - it didn't have a lot of fig flavor in it but their Alaskan Aurora toast was delicious! Their price point was slightly higher than similar establishments for the coffee and lemonade. The toast was very filling! read more

Absolutely wonderful ambiance and delicious taste. The coffees were typical prices but some of the best i've ever tasted. Unique mix of culture and taste. Bathrooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. Great place to study or get a small snack and chat over a cup of coffee or tea. read more

We stopped by at this coffee shop while we were in the area. Quite spacious if you are looking to socialize with friends over coffee. They have free WiFi. They could add more seating though. Nice ambiance and decor. Service was quick given the crowd at the hour when we went. read more

The drinks were actually so so yummy and so much light in the place it made studying feel so cute. The people were super nice to us and did say their hours are most accurate on google because someone claimed their other accounts. read more
The interiors are gorgeous! My husband and I were discussing the detailing in the earthy, Mediterranean vibe of the place with lime washed walls, overhead lighting, gorgeous terracotta vintage pots and beautiful tiles. The music was soothing and not overpowering. Our barista took their time patiently explaining the menu which we really appreciated. The coffee menu is well curated to the theme of the middle eastern cafe. We tried the habibti latte which has rose and cardamom and the honey lavender latte. Both of the drinks were excellent! We loved the flavors. We tried the saffron cake, chocolate cake and last but not least, the strawberry matcha cookie which was to die for! We will be coming back to visit and grab a cup of coffee soon! read more
