Coconut Drink

Idk, it was mid. I saw the coconut drink on Yelp and thought it looked cool! I went in, and it was minimal inside. The drink was fine, but was more ice than anything else. I got a few sips and was done. For the price, not worth it. I will not be coming back here again.

The actual shop was nice and open, but overall I'd have to say the drinks were not that great and service was ok. The staff wasn't overly friendly and the drinks didn't come out quickly. The drink I ordered just tasted like a powdered drink and all the drinks were ordered were kind of bland tasting... like not enough sugar or sweetener. Glad I got to try this place but don't think we will be back. For price and service, there are other shops we enjoy more.

I had some major tea cravings this morning! I really wanted a mango green tea and found this place. They were one of the few places opened at 10 am and it was close to my work place.. I got it to go. Unfortunately they were out of mango green tea but no worries, I tried something new- a peach tea and I added Logan fruit. It's pretty good! Very fresh and not too sweet. I was surprised at how cute this place is! If I had more time I'd love to visit! When I visited, I realized I had left my wallet at home but not luckily they accepted Apple Pay! I'm so happy they do! Will come more often!!

I wanted to give this place a review because it's quite literally ruined any other brown sugar milk drink for me - this is LIFE-CHANGING. My holy grail boba drink. I've only had one thing so far but I can't stray from it honestly. The brown sugar egg cream drink. It's just too good... now whenever I go to a different boba place for brown sugar milk tea, I just find myself thinking that I wished it was this. It's always come out super quickly, and the place is even pretty to be in with such a calming green color scheme! Honestly no flaws, I love it here. I only wish it was closer to me... (but maybe that's better for my wallet anyways)

I love the design and layout of this shop. Very cute with lots of tables. Would be a great place I think to WFH (not sure how fast the WiFi is) or even more so to play board games with group of friends. Service was friendly. We ordered on the tablet but could also order up front. I actually like places with the tablet makes looking at the menu a lot easier. The taro drink was not mixed well. Would not recommend that drink. The brown sugar egg milk tea was really good and the egg topping Boba itself was tasty and chewy.

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

They have a few tables and chairs inside and outside for sitting. The tarts are amazing and definitely recommend you take one to go. The croissants are delicious, buttery, and flaky. The coffee is a nice addition but, the main attraction is the bakery! The bakery is in the Bishop Arts area so, you can find some free parking depending on when you visit. On the weekends, the line will move fast so, don't be afraid to wait.

I wanted quiche this morning and felt I should see what else is out there besides La Madeleine. I…read morefound this place on GrubHub and ordered several things to get an idea of the quality of their food. The large vanilla latte was excellent, no problem there. The blueberry scone was fresh and although I only pinched a small bite from it, I could tell it was moister and more flavorful than most, well done! I wanted to try the Chocolate Kouign Amann, since I had no idea what it was, lol. It was packed with chocolate, but it wasn't fresh, the wonderful flaky pastry was rock hard. And now the quiche - I wanted SO much to love it - it was bursting with ham and the pastry looked lovely. But the pastry was SO hard that I couldn't even cut into it! I wanted to eat it with a fork but had to pick it up to bite the top part, since it was like wood. And the entire bottom of the quiche was drenched - when I bit into a bite from the lower part, all this water came squirting out - every bite that touched the bottom part of it was squirting water! I was so grossed out, why was this happening? Unlike my fave place La Madeleine, they only send you a slice, so sadly that was my one and only experience with Village Bakery quiche. Really wish it would have been better, the other reviews showed promise.

There was a huge assortment of danish, butterfly cookies, and a variety of other baked goods. We debated about which ones to buy and picked out our favorites. They were delicious and freshly made. Service was great and they were very patient as we tried to make up our mind on which pastries we were going to buy. Prices were average for what you would expect for a homemade pastry shop. The shop had a comfy feel with cute tables and posters on the wall. We would definitely go back for more baked goods.Yum!
