Here's #theLatestLiquidNews Eye's drink first? New location opened up in Garland. Note, it doesn't appear on Apple Maps yet, so search Noodle Wave, as the business is right next to it. Or, hop on to Google maps, as Tea Daddy's Garland site is appears there. Affordability: $5-$6 w/no toppings. I give it a 4.5/5 for price, as their one size looks to be a 24-28oz cup, while most bubble tea shops are 16oz or 20z. Location: Free parking in the plaza and plenty of space. Hours: 10am - 10pm Seating: Decent amount of seating for a small bubble tea shop. How to Order: Kiosk or at the Front with a live human. Who is this for? * People that need a place to study, quick snack (they have Popcorn Chicken & Fries), quick meet up, or evening Vietnamese coffee/tea fix. What I ordered so far & plan to order next time... 1. Ube Egg Coffee: 4.5/5. If you've never had Egg Coffee, highly suggest trying it out. It's Robusta coffee with like a custard cream layered on top. It's a combination of egg yolks, vanilla, sugar & condensed milk. And no it does not taste like you're drinking egg yolks by itself, that would be disgusting, unless you're into that. lol Overall the drink was great with the layer of Ube cream, but I doc'd it half a point due to the sheer amount of ice in it. Nearly 75% of the cup was ice. Pending... *Oolong Milk Tea, Marble Coffee, Matcha Coffee & latte, Coconut Drink, Popcorn Chicken, Mango Tea Service: ?? Unknown yet, I ordered at the kiosk & the drink came out quick. Tip WiFi: Sweetboba

We got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea which is very tasty. Tapioca is slightly harder than I'm used to but 8/10!

This place makes a fanstastic peach orange lemongrass boba. They put real orange and peaches in the drink and it tastes fantastic.

Piefalootin - Coffee and some of their pie

Piefalootin

Some things are just worth coming home too. Piefalootin never disappoints. The hardest decision we…read morehave is what kind of pie we're going to get. There are so many choices! Today I got a build-a-pie. You heard it right. I got a little of everything that added up to a full pie. This place is like grandma's on steroids. My favorite is the coconut cream pie. Always thick, creamy and delicious. Piecrust can't be beat. If you like a traditional pie. She always has the basic staples plus lots of new and exciting flavor combinations.. Follow her on Instagram for daily specials. Wish I lived in town and could visit more often. If you want to have a pie for the holiday, be sure to order ahead. The window typically closes a week or two out. Staff is always friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and ever so helpful. Cherri dispositions abound at this Sweet establishment. You'll probably even meet the owner, TRACY. She's definitely involved and keeps things running smoothly. Everyone knows about this place. If you haven't been be sure to stop by. You can take a pie to go or eat inside at one of the mini cute tables.

We got the Cinco De Pie-yo, Chocolate Cream, Lemon Berry Blues, and Chocolate Euphoreo. The pies were great! The chocolate cream was my absolute favorite - it was light and not too sweet. My brother enjoyed the chocolate euphoreo one the most but he's also a huge fan of cookies and cream, so no surprise there. If you enjoy a tart flavor, you'd definitely like the lemon berry blues pie. It was a bit strong for me, but not too bad. Their menu changes every day with the exception of a few items. Customer service was great and the pies were so yummy. Highly recommend checking them out!

The chilaquiles were…read morehonestly some of the best I've had -- I loved that the tortilla chips stayed crunchy the whole time instead of getting soggy like they do at some places. And that salsa verde on top? So good. Both the chilaquiles and the blueberry Earl Grey scone were my favorites. The scone was especially nice and moist with a unique flavor combo. I also liked the churro cruffin, and the birria brisket croque madame was delish and satisfying. Two of us ordered the Sweet Potato Latte and one got the Turkish latte, all half sweet (we generally prefer less sweetness than most), and all three of us really liked ours. Service was also great -- even though it was packed, our server was attentive and friendly. Great spot if you want something a little different for brunch or a bakery stop. Definitely worth checking out.

Our first time here and we went on a Sunday, so the dine-in wait time was about 55 minutes. I…read moredidn't know about reservations so most of the tables were empty but they were all reserved. The waiting area was really nice and spacious. We got to try the Love Potion Latte (limited time), the Croissant Monkey Bread ($4.75), and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame ($19). The Love Potion Latte was okay, it's made of chocolate mocha, espresso, milk, and dried strawberry chunks. The Croissant Monkey Bread was delicious. The dough pulled apart so well and the cinnamon sugar on top added a nice touch to it. They toasted your bread too so it was warm and moist. The Birria Brisket Croque Madame was the best! It is a huge portion and we cut it in halves already, but it filled us up! The sourdough was still crispy, well-toasted, and it absorbed the juices from the birria so well. We went for a light breakfast but came out so full and stuffed. The prices are a bit expensive but it was reasonable for the quality and portion size. They are sooo packed though with customers coming in and out at all time. I would definitely make reservations next time!
