Loved that it wasn't over sweet or over strong! And they put an adorable coated coffee bean on top of each cup! Really set the tone really love the added touch - Service * spectacular Coffee * spectacular Espresso was smooth and had a delicious flavor not bitter or burned tasting like other shops have tried where they try to cover the taste by over sweetening..! I've been at this particular location about 3 or 4 times now and I can truthfully say, They've never disappointed me with the quality, hospitality, patience, and friendliness while placing my orders. Tonight I felt like a Hot tea. Their options were only Black, Green, and Herbal teas. I chose a hot Green tea. I actually downloaded the app a while back and it's really worth having. My hot tea was FREE!! I was able to use 250 of my reward points for my purchase. I did leave a tip. I couldn't start "2025" without starting the Year off with showing my appreciation for the kindness that's always there every time I visit. This is a drive through only place! So, if you are in a grab n go mood this is the place ! I got an iced brown sugar Chai Latte and it was really good! The total was only $6 after tax, which isn't horrible these days. The service was friendly, and she was willing to answer all the questions I had! They have some food items, but I didn't try that out this round. I will have to go back and try an expresso drink next time ! read more

Since this place is so close to my job, I had to give it a try. I've been three times now and so far I really like it. I've tried the matcha of course and they have a pretty good matcha smoothie. It's not the best matcha I've had but not the worst at all. I like that with every drink you get a cute bean on top of your cup. Mine is usually coffee flavored. Idk if they all are but yea. That's a cute touch. Every-time I go the workers are very nice and sweet. service is fast as well. I really like this place when I want to switch it up from my norm of Starbucks or when I might be running later than I want and need a good option close to work, this is my option. I've also tried the ham and cheese croissant and it is delicious. It's huge too. I ate half and saved half for later one day so that was good. I also tried the "pretzel dog" although it wasn't a pretzel dog. It was more like a kolache or pig in a blanket if you will but definitely not a pretzel. Lately, I've been hooked on their Cold Foam Cold Brew with vanilla foam; although, I might try the straight cold brew next time for a stronger kick. What really sets The Human Bean apart is the service. The staff are not just quick and efficient, but also genuinely friendly. This is a really great place for a quick coffee fix! I got the granitas here for a long time, until I discovered the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is heavenly and delicious! It's like a very cold, sweet milkshake, which is very welcome in this super hot Summer we've been having. I now get this drink 2 or 3 times a week! The desserts here are very good and they're warmed up for you if you like. I recommend the muffins. Nearly all of the employees here have been great to deal with. Occasionally, I get someone who tells me I can't have a Granita done Decaf, which isn't true. I get Decaf Granitas done here all the time. 9 times out of 10, I get a good person here to deal with. Good ownership here too, as I've gotten nice and helpful feedback from them on my reviews and experiences here. This drive-through and walk up coffee spot has an excellent brew! Their cold brew is very smooth, and I enjoy their variety of lattes. The first time we went, we were delighted by the fun candy coated espresso bean that comes with every drink! To be fair I am still delighted. They run a fast operation and their large menu can make you feel pressured to order a simple or standby drink. Check out the menu before you go so that you don't get flustered! The team has never rushed me, but the peer pressure from cars behind me has, if you know what I mean! I tried the iced lemon cake today and it was soft and moist but I probably won't get it again. I would come more often if the prices were more affordable. Still, I love to support a locally-owned + woman-owned business and will absolutely be back! read more

Yet another random discovery in the world of Chelsea...THE HUMAN BEAN! Okay this is my new post workout refuel spot for sure. So many options on the menu...there is even food if you need a quick bite to go with your java. Hot or iced...tea or coffee....or maybe you want something like a smoothie to quench your thirst. They have you all the WAY covered! I believe there are also sugar free options If that is your thing. I enjoyed my iced mocha with the cutest lil chocolate java bean on top. Nice touch! The drive thru is perfect to get in and out on a hot summer day. The employees are very friendly happy people and rightfully so. They need to put this kind of a store on every corner. Finally, the wait is over. It's now open! I pass by this place every day on my way to work. What caught my eye was definitely the thought-provoking name "The Human Bean." They opened at the right time when the Dallas area is getting viciously hot. I ordered a simple cold brew coffee. It was very smooth and refreshing. I also had a cranberry scone, which tasted great - fluffy, light, not too sweet. They also have blueberry scones and brownies, if you like something else. I like their elegantly designed coffee brownish brick facade. Don't be misled by the compact size of the place. They do have a good selection of espresso, coffee, tea drinks, such as frozen espresso, green tea, and smoothie. The work crew is really friendly, courteous, and willing to help. That makes your drink taste even better. This is a drive-thru. There are a few parking spots on the north side. If you like to get out of your air-conditioned vehicle to enjoy the 100 degrees+ heat, you can order at their side window. Want a quick and nice drink? Drive on by! read more

I was excited to see a new brand of coffee shop and drove out of the way to get here. I should have looked at the pictures, because I assumed they had seating ... but they're only a drive-through. I ordered a brownie and an americano. The brownie was small, slightly dry, and not very flavorful. The americano was decent but not great; I'm sure they're super sugary drinks (which looks like their specialty) are better because they mask the coffee, but it didn't make me wanna come back. The coffee prices were good, tho. $3.50 for large Americano. $2.75 for the snack-size brownie seemed a little bit much but not bad. read more

This is a rare find! A coffee shop that I frequented a lot when I had a temporary job in Oregon. Gotta love the little covered coffee bean that they give you with every drink! Loved this place! We went to the Carrollton location. The service was quick and the barista was so friendly and kind. I went with two friends and none of us had been before, and she was super patient and giving us recommendations. I loved my cold brew coffee. To "top" it off, they had so many different syrup flavors that you could do in a cold foam. I had the sugar free peanut butter and it was fantastic. This location doesn't have an inside, but love the atmosphere of pulling up quick and ordering your coffee. read more

I'm so happy to have a non-chain drive-thru coffee stop in the area! I've received friendly service here and love that they have many non-dairy options including soy, almond, oat, coconut, and macadamia nut milk options. Many interesting latte and smoothie flavor combos are on offer. Employees add a memorable touch of a chocolate-coated espresso bean balanced on top of each to-go cup (eat quickly if atop of a hot drink or enjoy the melty chocolate mess;)). As this business is still fairly new, I rarely encounter much of a line or wait and am relishing that but also want to see this business booming with more regular customers in support of less mainstream drive thru coffee stops! The traffic and layout present a bit of a challenge getting in or out of this complex which requires some planning and maybe a few minutes of extra time but it has been worth it to me to go out of my way to support what is happening here. read more

I went thru the drive thru and ordered a breve which is espresso and steamed half and half and added SF marshmallow! The only downside - I asked for a SF drink which means I steer away from sugar and they put chocolate without wrappers on top of my hot drink and the chocolate melted on the lid... I just had to wipe it off the lid.... I would definitely come back to this place! read more
