The coffee was really good, but I was a little disappointed by the atmosphere. Looking at the photos from 2023, the café looked much warmer and more inviting. Now it feels a lot emptier and has lost some of its charm. I hope they bring back the cozy look it used to have, because the coffee is definitely worth coming back for! read more

I need an excuse to be in Garland far more often because Rosalind Coffee is one of my favorite recent finds. What a lovely little spot that actually isn't very little. There's a ton of space in here! Fantastic coffee and tea, spritzers and smoothies, a small assortment of delicious pastries, and a few other options like breakfast tacos (corn or flour), breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, yogurt with housemade granola, pb&j, banana toast. Plenty to choose from, quality ingredients. I had the breakfast tacos on corn tortillas and a gluten free cheese "quesadilla" scone/muffin thing. I got my friend a breakfast sandwich on sourdough and a cinnamon apple danish. Doesn't that all sound sooo good? We washed it all down with iced brown sugar lattes, cinnamon sprinkled on top. Such a gem! I stopped by Rosalind Coffee to meet a friend and was instantly impressed by the earthy, peaceful vibe -- exactly the kind of atmosphere you hope for in a coffee spot. Top notch soup to nuts coffee experience. Centered between Dead Wax records, community murals and Garland's Big Hat installation we have this sizable coffee jaunt. Loved the smells upon walking in! Service - order at the counter. Mini treasures/wares dot the counter for purchase, as well. My friends and me were able to catch them for breakfast hours partaking in the tacos and egg sammy. They feature a rotating seasonal menu. Today, we tried the Nutella latte, chai latte and DP zero. The lattes were the perfect temp to complement the cooler temps kept indoors. All rounded out great flavor pairings with the meals themselves. Definitely pack a sweater/jacket if you plan to beastmode for a while. Long story short...Rosalind Coffee is now one of my top coffee shops in DFW! My friend and I came specifically to get out the house to work. Not only is it located in the cutest part of Garland, but the outside/inside is so beautiful. From the exposed brick, to the wall decor, to the tiled ceiling, everything was beautiful, which made for the perfect work day. My go to order is always a lavender honey latte with oat milk, and it was amazing of course. I had a lovely conversation with the barista also! Everyone was friendly! We did end up staying for lunch and I had their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, it was good, and while I typically despise raisins and grapes in my salads. It was great overall. Definitely will be back with family and friends to show them this gem! read more

I love iced coffee and Rosalind is my favorite local coffee shop in garland! I first fell in love with the location 3 years ago I love the inside decor and ample seating , however I keep coming back for the coffee! My current go to is the iced cinnamon maple latte I love it so much that my husband and I come here almost weekly for it! This is my favorite coffee shop. This is where my creativity, peace and community thrive. I love the playlist, coffee and their unique twists on the menu. I enjoy their creativity and get excited once the season changes and they drop another stop worthy list of delicious lattes, matcha and lemonades. The middle of the cafe houses your seating accommodations with plenty tables or couches for your choosing. The woman at the counter was really friendly and open to take any questions. I opted for a hot lavender latte and 1 breakfast taco. However the barista wasn't very friendly and gave cold attitude when I asked her a question when my order was ready. The breakfast taco appeared to be homemade and was decent. The flavor profile wasn't my favorite and missed a few elements to me. However the tortilla, so bombbb! My latte didn't taste of any vanilla or lavender just coffee so I was bummed about that. After hearing guests order when sitting in the cafe for a bit, I realized they offer different items I didn't see on the menu at the counter so I'll definitely look to try something else next time. Crowds start to come after 1pm so head over early if you're looking for seating. Plenty street parking in the area but can get crowded depending on the time and day. Rosalind Coffee has the telltale sign of a good suburban coffee shop-- A sizable portion of edgy local teenagers who go here to escape the "boredom of suburbia" and to forget they're living in Garland, TX. I see why they do it too. Rosalind Coffee can hold its own versus coffee houses in far more hip cities than Garland-- the aesthetics, service, and taste reminded me of places I've gone in Boston and NYC. The Barista behind the counter was super friendly, the dining room was spacious, the decor was engaging, there was ample seating, the iced water dispenser was a great touch, and the coffee was of course top notch. I was drawn to Rosalind because it was on the Dallas 101 Coffee Passport (Which I'd also recommend), and I'll 100% be back whenever I'm next in the White Rock Lake area. read more

What a gem out here in Garland's downtown area. So I had to be out here for the day without a car so I was limited with my radius lol. However I had seen Rosalind on Google before heading out this way, and I'm so glad I did. I ended up starting the day here with a Lavender Matcha Latte and Breakfast tacos and then tried their breakfast Sammy for lunch with a Horchata latte. So the drinks were both great, the breakfast tacos although yummy, were slightly cold when I was eating them, so didn't love that. But the Sammy was legit, so I guess that made up for it. Rosalind got all my biz for the day! A great place to work or meet up with a friend for coffee. Such a cute vibe and lots of space, unlike some coffee shops where you feel like you're on top of each other. Being here all day, I was able to see the number of people coming and going, and I loved that their were lots of regulars (you could tell). The staff was super friendly! I have been coming to this establishment for the past 3 weeks . At first, it was a great experience , as I almost always order a brown sugar iced latte with almond milk, or I order the blueberry danish. I have never had an issue with working here, as I am a business owner that helps small businesses get grants and sometimes like to work outside of my house, and the staff is always nice which is why I opted for this place over Starbucks . Until today. This morning I opted out of buying breakfast or coffee as I wanted to wait till lunch to order something this go around. As I quietly, took a corner seat to begin to work, it had only been an hour, before who I now know is the manager, approached me and stated that I can't use their WiFi if I don't purchase something . I then let Aldo, the manager know that I never use their WiFi bc I have a personal hotspot. He then said I still need to order something if I'm going to be here . Mind you, the place isn't packed and there are open seats available so I'm not taking any seating away from anyone that's there. I politely waited until he was done speaking with a customer before I approached him asking about this rule that I have never heard of since I had been coming there . He further states that I have been here long enough to order something and that I shouldn't just come into an establishment and not buy from them bc they are a business. I explained to him that I have never been approached in the three weeks of coming and was never informed of this "policy" I then asked is this a policy/ rule and he proceeds to say it isn't , but it's what he wants .
