Drizl?!?! What is actually going on with you guys? I've been the past two times and my strawberries and cream matcha was disgusting! You guys have got to hire a staff that makes your drinks and food properly. This is such a cute cafe & totally worth the drive if you don't live in Rowlett like I do! They're in a small shopping center with plenty of parking in front. If you arrive from the west side on 66, walk around the building that faces Dalrock. There's a beautiful mural on the wall! The interior is beautiful & cute! Decked out in pink with plenty of seating at tables with chairs but also a comfy couch near the front with decorative pillows. The bathrooms are in the back & are always clean. There's a shelf with merchandise and a record player. Just request your fave record to be played! At the order counter is a fridge with wellness shots, bottled drinks, & bars. The menu is posted on the wall & specials are advertised on the counter. I've been here a few times & all the staff are friendly, helpful, & patient. This last visit, Isaya served me & was so knowledgeable about the drinks & history of the coffee shop. He was so nice! I ordered the flan latte, it has a flan flavored cloud. It was AMAZING! I love a good flan and this latte tasted exactly like it! Isaya said the matcha one is good too but I never really tried a matcha latte. The way he described it convinced me to try it! He said he makes the matcha here in the store. I was so glad I trusted his recommendation because the matcha flan latte was amazing too! It wasn't overly earthy like many matchas & the sweetness of the latte paired with it perfectly! I'll definitely order the matcha again! My amazing husband came here to bring me a Mother's Day treat. He ordered off the Instagram post and was given a "salted latte." He was super confused as to why he was given this drink, but with two very small babies and being on his way out, he figured a latte is a latte. Unfortunately, this was the worst latte I've ever had. It tasted like a watered-down coffee that had been sitting out for hours. I've had lattes from here before, so this was really disappointing. I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. My mom was in town and I figured it was the perfect time to go ! We stopped before noon on a Friday. There were only two other patrons that appeared to be working on laptops. The service was ok while ordering. I got the brown butter brûlée iced latte. I was visiting the Dallas area and found Drizl on TikTok. The parking lot is small especially for all the businesses that share the lot. I liked the ambiance of the cafe and the variety of drinks. We were fortunate enough to be able to get the Ube Banana Pudding Matcha because it is a weekend-only item! We both met the owner and she was very sweet! She was the one that actually let us know that it was available! Drink-wise, we both liked it overall! The ube banana pudding was something new to us! Sure it's been around for a bit but this is the first time we've tried UBE banana pudding matcha (or anything "pudding matcha" for the matter!). I wasn't incredibly satisfied with this place. I was in TX visiting and found this place on TikTok. The vegan pop tarts looked good and I was going to get one but there was a fly floating around on it. It was my first time here and I wanted to sign up for the reward program. I spent almost $7 for a coffee. They told me there was a glitch and to come next time to sign up ( that would mean I would have to buy another purchase and I was kind of turned off at the service at that point). I used to love Drizl -- it was a staple for our family, a place we genuinely enjoyed. But since the recent change in ownership, things have unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. We've given it several tries, hoping it was just a rough patch, but the experience simply isn't what it used to be. The coffee now feels lackluster, and the warmth that once defined the atmosphere is missing. What really saddens me, though, is a moment I witnessed at my visit today. A Hispanic man walked in to pick up a DoorDash order, and the barista behind the counter -- who had just been kind to me -- suddenly raised his voice and spoke to this man with rudeness and condescension, saying loudly, "Someone already picked it up," as if the man couldn't understand or didn't deserve respect. it was rude. The worst part? The barista was actually the one at fault -- he had mistakenly given the order to someone else earlier. sadly won't be back. read more

I've gone to tons of coffee shops in the DFW metroplex over the years. I've tried the trendy instagrammable ones, the quaint ones, the expensive ones, all that. I saw this coffee shop on TikTok and decided to try it. Seems like most go for the matcha, but matcha isn't quite my thing (at least yet). It's not far from me, so I was excited to potentially find a solid cafe that's close to me- and may I say- it was great. My partner had the biscoff latte and I got the brûlée latte with oatmilk. The brûlée latte was good! Wasn't too sweet and it wasn't watery. The star of the show was the biscoff latte though. I was hesitant to take a sip of it because I don't normally like biscoff cookies. I find them too sweet. But in this coffee, it was KILLER. Probably the best latte I've ever had. The latte was sweet but not the too sweet latte taste that you usually get at other coffee shops- especially the kind where they include trendy ingredients like this. They also seem to have other good flavor inclusions in the coffee/matcha that I can't wait to try, like ube! The owner is super sweet and made sure to ask what kind of milk we'd prefer and gave her menu recommendations. The cafe is tucked around the corner behind a convenience store. It can be pretty easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The graphics on the inside are very cute, and it's decorated with girly pop signs and records. There was surely a lot of thought out into the layout and branding of the venue. From the flowers, to the wall decor, neon-lights; very well put together.
