The chokehold this place has on me needs to be studied. The viral biscoff matcha... deserves all the standing ovations. Dare I say it's the best matcha I've ever had? Mind you, it will have you singing like a Disney princess with the amount of sugar and caffeine it provides. But it tastes so good I've gone back twice since trying it for tj first time last week. Be patient as they have door dash orders that come in as well as consistent patrons in store. The design is so girly and full of color; I love it. I'd be happy to bring my laptop here and hang for a few hours. read more

Drizl?!?! What is actually going on with you guys? I've been the past two times and my strawberries and cream matcha was disgusting! You guys have got to hire a staff that makes your drinks and food properly. Non melted cheese on a grilled cheese - gross Soggy sourdough on avo toast - gross Melted ice Matcha - gross You have great items just a horrible team of people making them. It's sad because this was once my go to spot and I bragged on you guys to everyone! Get it back together please!!!! read more

This is such a cute cafe & totally worth the drive if you don't live in Rowlett like I do! They're in a small shopping center with plenty of parking in front. If you arrive from the west side on 66, walk around the building that faces Dalrock. There's a beautiful mural on the wall! The interior is beautiful & cute! Decked out in pink with plenty of seating at tables with chairs but also a comfy couch near the front with decorative pillows. The bathrooms are in the back & are always clean. There's a shelf with merchandise and a record player. Just request your fave record to be played! At the order counter is a fridge with wellness shots, bottled drinks, & bars. The menu is posted on the wall & specials are advertised on the counter. I've been here a few times & all the staff are friendly, helpful, & patient. This last visit, Isaya served me & was so knowledgeable about the drinks & history of the coffee shop. He was so nice! I ordered the flan latte, it has a flan flavored cloud. It was AMAZING! I love a good flan and this latte tasted exactly like it! Isaya said the matcha one is good too but I never really tried a matcha latte. The way he described it convinced me to try it! He said he makes the matcha here in the store. I was so glad I trusted his recommendation because the matcha flan latte was amazing too! It wasn't overly earthy like many matchas & the sweetness of the latte paired with it perfectly! I'll definitely order the matcha again! This shop is going in my favorites list and I need to come on the weekend because that's when they add in a full size dessert to top off their amazing lattes! I need that flan in my latte! If you're thinking about going here, don't hesitate any more! Just read more

Fantastically simple menu with beverages having depth and unique flavors. Each drink is carefully crafted and delivers on its flavor. I ordered the Ube matcha and both elements complemented each other. I highly enjoyed it. This might be my new favorite matcha spot in the area. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since they opened. My mom was in town and I figured it was the perfect time to go ! We stopped before noon on a Friday. There were only two other patrons that appeared to be working on laptops. The service was ok while ordering. I got the brown butter brûlée iced latte. I got the 16oz but it looked a little small to me. I also got an almond croissant. After we got drinks and were seated we had to remind the lady about our croissant. It was really good. The establishment is cute with music playing and merch to buy. I would return if I were in the area read more

Drinks are made inconsistent and not as advertised like you would think. A biscoff or tiramisu drink one day would look completely different another day! They're fun flavors and tasty but I cannot recommend due to unreliability. Part of me feels like they only make your drink nice if you're actively recording or something :/ read more

I was visiting the Dallas area and found Drizl on TikTok. The parking lot is small especially for all the businesses that share the lot. I liked the ambiance of the cafe and the variety of drinks. We tried the banana pudding matcha and the caramel apple crumble latte. They were both really good. I also got the Smashed Avocado Toast which was delicious! My amazing husband came here to bring me a Mother's Day treat. He ordered off the Instagram post and was given a "salted latte." He was super confused as to why he was given this drink, but with two very small babies and being on his way out, he figured a latte is a latte. Unfortunately, this was the worst latte I've ever had. It tasted like a watered-down coffee that had been sitting out for hours. I've had lattes from here before, so this was really disappointing. I ended up having to throw it away and felt horrible that $9 was wasted. Happy Mother's Day, I guess. read more

This post is similar to the one I posted on Google Maps! My boyfriend and I came on Wednesday last week! We were fortunate enough to be able to get the Ube Banana Pudding Matcha because it is a weekend-only item! We both met the owner and she was very sweet! She was the one that actually let us know that it was available! Drink-wise, we both liked it overall! The ube banana pudding was something new to us! Sure it's been around for a bit but this is the first time we've tried UBE banana pudding matcha (or anything "pudding matcha" for the matter!). I think if they upgrade the matcha powder, it would be even better! The drink has so much potential!!! The store was cutely decorated with tables for students or remote/hybrid employees to do work at. Clean and bright! Also, I made a video of yall on TikTok @stcynprl (technically my first ever) and it BLEW UP, so thank you! read more

I wasn't incredibly satisfied with this place. I was in TX visiting and found this place on TikTok. The vegan pop tarts looked good and I was going to get one but there was a fly floating around on it. It was my first time here and I wanted to sign up for the reward program. I spent almost $7 for a coffee. They told me there was a glitch and to come next time to sign up ( that would mean I would have to buy another purchase and I was kind of turned off at the service at that point). I wanted to like it but not sure I'll be back here again. read more

Been going to Drizl for a few weeks now! They have the best cappuccino's I've ever had. I used to love Drizl -- it was a staple for our family, a place we genuinely enjoyed. But since the recent change in ownership, things have unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. We've given it several tries, hoping it was just a rough patch, but the experience simply isn't what it used to be. The coffee now feels lackluster, and the warmth that once defined the atmosphere is missing. What really saddens me, though, is a moment I witnessed at my visit today. A Hispanic man walked in to pick up a DoorDash order, and the barista behind the counter -- who had just been kind to me -- suddenly raised his voice and spoke to this man with rudeness and condescension, saying loudly, "Someone already picked it up," as if the man couldn't understand or didn't deserve respect. it was rude. The worst part? The barista was actually the one at fault -- he had mistakenly given the order to someone else earlier. sadly won't be back. read more

Beat local coffee shop in Rowlett. Owner is a knowledgeable skilled barista! Thank you

Just the two of us on a mini lovers' date, armed with a Yelp coupon! We ordered two coffees: an iced mocha and a guava drizzler. The iced mocha was absolutely delicious, and the guava drizzler? So tasty and refreshing, I can't wait to have another. The staff was friendly, the music was just right, and the decor was dreamy. White marble tables with light wood accents and a flower rose centerpiece on each table created the perfect setting. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, adding to the lovely atmosphere. The ambiance is perfect for a mini date or a girlfriends' catch-up. Plus, there's a stunning wall of pink roses that ties the whole pink rose theme together beautifully. A delightful experience in a cup-shaped paradise! read more

Overall, you could tell they really tried hard with the decorations and ambiance. However, it smelled really strongly of Fabuloso, and it was really hot inside, which kinda killed the vibe. The place is very cute and has a charming vibe. I tried the Good Morning Vietnam coffee, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. It wasn't quite what Vietnamese coffee should be--more like a cold brew with milk and just a touch of condensed milk for sweetness. The flavor was disappointing and lacked the richness I was hoping for. On the bright side, the brown butter brûlée was delicious! I was a little let down that it didn't have the signature toasted sugar crust on top like a classic brûlée, but the flavor itself was spot-on. read more

It's not brand new but it is a newer place. They've just reached the one year anniversary!! I've been wanting to try them out since I first saw the sign pop up. We got an iced vanilla latte and a hot triple shot mocha. A bit more sweet than we like but the coffee is delicious. Just preference and we'll adjust our orders next time. Both were great and didn't have the classic sb burnt taste. #IYKYK They have some drinks that's are unique and worth trying. Rice rice baby, pb&j, cereal killer. Drizl offers some flavors that you won't find anywhere else such as ube, butter toffee popcorn, pb&j, rice rice baby (horchata), ube, cereal killer (fruity pebbles), and so many more. Rowlett's newest coffee house!! The place looks brand new with a modern touch. They have the wall for all of the instagram/Tik-Tok posts. There was surely a lot of thought out into the layout and branding of the venue. From the flowers, to the wall decor, neon-lights; very well put together. The coffee is just as good as you'd expect and they even brew there own cold brew right in front of you! You won't be disappointed in the products or service. I've gone to tons of coffee shops in the DFW metroplex over the years. I've tried the trendy instagrammable ones, the quaint ones, the expensive ones, all that. I saw this coffee shop on TikTok and decided to try it. Seems like most go for the matcha, but matcha isn't quite my thing (at least yet). It's not far from me, so I was excited to potentially find a solid cafe that's close to me- and may I say- it was great. My partner had the biscoff latte and I got the brûlée latte with oatmilk. The brûlée latte was good! Wasn't too sweet and it wasn't watery. The star of the show was the biscoff latte though. I was hesitant to take a sip of it because I don't normally like biscoff cookies. I find them too sweet. But in this coffee, it was KILLER. Probably the best latte I've ever had. The latte was sweet but not the too sweet latte taste that you usually get at other coffee shops- especially the kind where they include trendy ingredients like this. They also seem to have other good flavor inclusions in the coffee/matcha that I can't wait to try, like ube! The owner is super sweet and made sure to ask what kind of milk we'd prefer and gave her menu recommendations. The cafe is tucked around the corner behind a convenience store. It can be pretty easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The graphics on the inside are very cute, and it's decorated with girly pop signs and records. Overall a comforting space and I'm looking forward to coming again! read more

Second to review!! 10-10-2022 A brand new small coffee shop Café at Dalrock Road & Lakeview Pkwy (Hwy 66), in the mini mall by Allstate Insurance. (No Drivethru here, no power outlets) (credit or debit cards only) Parking is a small issue. Once inside, 5 small tables for 2, and 2 restrooms, in a pretty & charming setting. A wall of rose blooms are waiting for your Instagram selfie, or groupie! Staff is pleasant & helpful. Coffee drinks made to order Hot or Chilled. Also, Teas, Smoothies, or Drizlers. Chilled soft drinks in the serf-serve cooler Oatmeal is the vegetarian dish. Baked pastries, bagels, and Churro Cruffins! I had Large Americano, and a Monkey Bread for $9. (currently, only credit or debit cards for purchase) Cappuccino here is served in a pretty pink scalloped ceramic cup & saucer, if you are feeling nostalgic, this is your spot! read more
