Tanya's cafe has very fresh and flavorful foods. The portions are moderate yet filling. Unfortunately, they no longer are serving crepes and seem to be transitioning their menu options. I'd recommend you calling in to confirm the posted online menu. Aside from that the restaurant is very comfy with seating to accommodate nearly 30 guests. Tanya's recommendations on the menu are indicated with the star logo. I enjoyed the meals ordered to the table. The Huevos Rancheros was my favorite of them all. It was very authentic Mexican cuisine that balanced well as you consumed each bite. The freshly made juices were a bonus touch and either you choose the orange or one of the signature blends. Nice hidden gem. No way would we have been able to find this place without our adult granddaughter telling us about it. Our server Pau was very patient as we waited for our last 2 in Party. Five of us total found a perfect table in this small place. Got there just after opening, but filled up quickly. There is outside seating, but with early morning traffic we decided best to be inside. Food is pricey, but price for quality made it reasonable. Total cost before tip $95.80 for five adults. Only thing I didn't agree with was the $4 basic cup of coffee. I added menu so you can easily see prices. I added pictures of food so you can see the quality/amounts. Building was clean, only one bathroom, nice size tables. Parking lot will not accommodate an RV of any type. There is a lady there who was available for signing for the deaf. read more

This place is busy! And we now see why! We finally made it to brunch over here, small parking lot shared with the Cajun donut place and gas station. Getting here before peak hours is key- the food is delish and very flavorful. It was like my husband's home cooking but without us having to cook! I enjoyed the migas and hubby and kids enjoyed their meals too! I'm pretty sure from the looks of everyone's meals on the tables, that everything is the bomb here! The staff is amazing too- since we arrived before the lunch rush, we were seated at a table for 6- we were a party of 4. A family of 6 had come in, and the staff (possibly the owner?) kindly asked us to move to an open table for 4. In which we did and they were kind to take a percentage off of our bill. Chicken fried steak with gravy is good, eggs cooked well to order, hash browns are ok. Their biscuits are hard as a rock, basically sawed into them with my steak knife. Service and ambience is great. Great food, great service but the blender/juicer is so loud you cannot carry on a conversation with the person at the same table. We were there about 30 minutes and it went off four times while we were there. If you get there early, it is seldom crowded, but is does begin to fill up by mid morning as people LOVE this place! It is well maintained and well decorated. My favorite is the chicken fried steak, 2 eggs over medium and a short stack of pancakes! The coffee is pretty good as well! The price is pretty reasonable! Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is due to order mix ups the 2 times I've been there. read more

My father and arrived and were seated quickly and a family of 4 (three adults and a baby) came in after us and a family of 3 ( two adults and a baby that sat outside). Well the family of 4 was being served before we even got to put in our drink order. Also the people outside place their order after we did but got their food before our order was placed. Also we asked if they served sweet tea and the waiter said they did and we got unsweetened tea and a spoon. I guess to add our own sugar( that's not the same). I asked for a croissant with sausage, cheese eggs, and avocado. When my order came there was bacon. I let my server know and when he came back the sausage did not look like the sausage my father had on his plate. The sausage on my plate looked thin and similar to chorizo. Came to Tanya's for a quick breakfast bite because it's a minute from the barbershop my husband gets his haircuts at, and it exceeded my expectations. When he saw the photos posted online he described it as an upscale looking Mexican breakfast cafe. As Mexicans ourselves I was intrigued to check this place out. The service is great, a small cafe but with one server he's able to give a good amount of one-on-one attention like a small classroom. My husband described the food as everything tasting very fresh which I have to agree. They have fresh made juices which are delicious! This Berry Fresh jugo has beets, apples, and blueberries. I had a croissant club and the bread was nice and soft and nothing flaked or fell apart which I really appreciate in a croissant sandwich. Turkey looks like it was freshly sliced like at Jersey Mikes. The fries were reasoned with rosemary which was very tasty. Presentation was grand. For everything pictures our total came shy of $50 (which kind of seems like a lot). But all to say cute spot with great quality food and drinks :--) read more

I was a little surprised when it was served. It didn't look a lot like the HR I was used to. My misgivings were soon dispelled; it was delicious. What they did to the meat was fantastic. Let's talk ambiance. It is clean and well-decorated. I asked for hot tea. It was delivered in a delightful square cup. I was allowed to pick two teas from a robust assortment -- both were tasty. Now let's talk service. My server -- sorry, I didn't get her name -- was kind, considerate, and quick to the table with the next phase of our meals. I was quite taken with her and wish all the servers I've encountered were as efficient and pleasant. I talked to what I thought was the owner, and he said they were looking for a more spacious building. He went on to describe how crowded it gets on the weekend. I agreed and tried to suggest some locations closer to my home. The little twist on everyday meals worked. That is saying something. Give them a try. What have you got to lose?
