Stopped in for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning. If you're heading there on a weekend, I suggest jumping on the waitlist via the Yelp app- saved us about 30 minutes from standing outside waiting. The atmosphere was very lively and fairly loud but that's to be expected on a weekend morning. Also note that they move fairly quickly so it's not a place I'd suggest planning on squatting at for a few hours - it felt very in and out of I ordered the salmon scramble from the "healthier list" of the menu and it was great. Came out a little cold but the flavor was great and the potatoes were amazing. The coffee is also some of the best breakfast and diner coffee I've found. Would definitely head back if I'm in the Rockwall area. read more

First time visiting this place, but it certainly exceeded my expectations. Plenty of parking. Though they were packed we didn't have to wait too long. They are well staffed. Inside is clean. Food was all delicious and the OJ tasted fresh squeezed. We will go back. read more

This place gets 5 stars from me!! I had family in the area during Memorial Day weekend for an AAU basketball tournament. On a Sunday morning, I went to watch and cheer my cousin who was playing. His first game was at 9:30 which they won. Unfortunately, as I quickly remembered, this means the next game would be later in the day during the afternoon. Given we had a long break prior to the next game, we decided to go somewhere for breakfast. Not being familiar with the area, I used my handy-dandy Yelp app to search for reputable spots and Eggsquisite came up. I used the Yelp app to put us on the waiting list and we drove over. Once we arrived, I checked in and they informed me that our table would be ready in ~10 minutes and it actually took a little less time than that.. All said, using the Yelp app to be added to the waitlist worked out very well. Once seated, within a couple of minutes our server came over with water and introduced himself. He gave us a few minutes to study the menu and shortly after he returned to take our orders. I went with the Veggie Omelette and it did not disappoint. It contained tomatoes, mushroom, onion, spinach, peppers, along with both Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese. I'm getting hungry just thinking about that omelette. It also came with 2 pancakes which were light a fluffy. My family members each raved about their respective entree so all said Eggsquisite was a BIG hit. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Add that to the delicious food, and I will definitely return whenever I am in the area again. read more

Came by for breakfast and had a nice meal. Stopped by at 9:30am on Tuesday and they were not busy. I think they had more servers than customers. My server was friendly and attentive. The manager even stopped by my table and asked how the meal was. Inside is elegant with beautiful light fixtures and a clean modern decor. I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes. It came with 3 pancakes, more than I could eat but they were fluffy and light and the cinnamon and frosting on the top pancake was really good. I ordered a side of bacon and it was a quality bacon cooked to perfection. Also ordered a latte and was glad they have espresso. Milk was steamed hot, which I love (hate it when you get a luke warm latte!). Server handed me my bill and I wanted to pay, kept waiting for her to charge my card. They need to do a better job of telling customers you have to walk over to the host and pay there. read more

I've been eyeing this place for a while. They don't have a bar though and I love a cocktail with brunch. I had a doctors appointment to go to afterward so I figured it would be the perfect time to finally try it out. We were seated quickly. Tehyw were relatively empty with a cute bright interior. The menus were crumbled..but there were lots of options to choose from. I opted for the turkey pesto panini as our waitress says she gets it often. It was probably the worst sandwich I've ever paid for. The bread was not panini grilled/smashed. There were very little pesto,if any, and overall it just wasn't good. I got sweet potatoes fries(which I paid extra for) and they were under cooked. My mom got a breakfast plate. Her turkey bacon was barely cooked however the rest she enjoyed. I also got a cold brew , it was decent but I've made better at home. I'd likely not return. read more

We were looking for a Reuben fix. Fortunately, the menu sides had changed, and we could order fries and fried okra! Yaay! We wanted good balance of meat kraut and swiss. The sandwiches did not disappoint on meat! The marble rye toast was perfect. The kraut was underwhelming as was presence of swiss. The fries were steak-cut and a little soggy. The okra however was perfect! Hopefully having this sandwich dine-in is better, we ordered take out, since the line to dine in was too long. I came in before 12:00 today and as I was enjoying my lunch near the kitchen I overheard the manager with a snake tattoo on his hand say out loud to a server with a cross necklace, I need to take a GOD DAMN piss. Then ran off to the restroom. I could tell him saying that visibly shook up the guy server. It's sad really. He was running a round the whole time positive smiling and being loving to everyone plus he also was running the expo getting all the food out. 10/10 for the sever 1/10 for the manager. This is my second time coming here. First time I came on an extremely busy Saturday with a large party. Everything was absolutely perfect then. The food was great and the service was excellent. I was very impressed with the staff being able to keep up with a large group during an insanely busy Saturday brunch rush. I recently visited again on a Tuesday. There was no wait and no insane rush yet the staff seemed a little disheveled. There were a lot of mistakes on the orders. Although it was no big deal correcting the mistakes that came out, it was definitely an uncomfortable experience for people in my party to point that out. However, my waiter was excellent and very kind! The nitro cold brew was very good! Costs more than some of the other caffeinated options however the flavor was thoroughly enjoyable. The iced lattes were not good at all. Just spend a couple extra bucks and get the nitro, it's worth it. We were disappointed that they were out of the potatoes O'Brien so they had to substitute with shredded hash browns which were just fine. Nothing to hype up. The main dishes we ordered were the salmon scramble and the very berry waffles. The salmon scramble was a healthy option that had a really portion of fish. The waiter did warn that it would not be a fully filling dish, which I do appreciate the candor, but I still ordered anyway and still enjoyed! The very berry waffles had sweet fruit and a mesmerizing mascarpone with a fluffy waffle that just all came together beautifully. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and well kept. Lolling around, staggering from place to place and p**sing off your mimosas is a waste of a good day. There is a reason I drink coffee or energy drinks for breakfast. Snooze wants to get you plowed. 2) Eggsquisite is not about giving you a 3500 calorie breakfast. I don't know about you - but I like to do things with my day. Lying on the sofa and groaning because I have just eaten 3500 calories is a waste of a good day. There is a reason I eat normal sized plates at breakfast. Snooze wants to build the tab by piling gratuitous calories sky high on your plate. * * * Sure, Eggsquisite has Benedicts in a variety of forms. It also has sweet breakfast entrees. But portion sizes are reasonable ... and there is a large selection of plain sensible functional breakfasts. I had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs. That is a big breakfast by objective standards - but it is the Dieter's Delite at Snooze. My wife had salmon toast. We both had coffee. The regular drip was fine. My decadent touch was putting in a single packet of French Vanilla Half and Half. We were good to go for the rest of the day. I could drive on I-35 without either falling asleep or being pulled over for a breathalyzer test. Falling asleep on I-35 in Dallas is not a recommended strategy for bed rest Unless you are fond of the very thin mattresses in Dallas County Jail. read more

The manager was very rude! My waiter Justin was awesome as always! The manager was acknowledging certain people and certain people he was not acknowledging. Just stay off the floor if you are not going to be kind to everyone! He even called my waiter away from speaking with me. When my waiter was speaking with other tables longer than he was with myself. I've been coming here 4 years and never once felt so uncomfortable. To the point I got my food to go mid way through my meal. The new owners definitely need to correct this at least I hope they do because it affects the representation of the restaurant. Had it not been for the manager Gatsper I believe his name was I would have given 5 stars because Justin and the other waiters are so friendly and kind. The food is good but the manager absolutely not a match!!! I was sure to pray for that man before I left because he needs it, his heart needs to be softened. The girl there said 20 minutes and maybe less. So we waited. Waited past 20 min and then I clicked on the website and saw we were 10th in line seating would take 40 minutes. I don't like being lied to... We went up to the counter and said why is the wait time double what was quoted to us. She didn't even apologize. She said she can't predict how long it is going to take.
