After waiting for years for this building to be converted from a dry cleaner to a restaurant, it finally happened. And even then it took us a few years to finally drop in and give this place a try. Not sure if this is the first or second restaurant in this location since the changeover. So finally today we stopped in. The inside was much larger than I expected it to be. It was very fresh and clean on the inside. The inside had a little bit of a 1950's vibe with its light turquoise padded booths and chairs. Along with fresh clean walls and similar tones of turquoise, it was a very refreshing visit. The restaurant was sort of divided into two sections. The main dining area and a smaller area on the side with mexican sweets, sweet breads etc. It is a nice little area to come for coffee and a treat for breakfast. They also have bread and tortillas for purchase. I ordered the fried tilapia and grilled veggies. The tilapia was very good but I didn't care for the veggies. Also came with rice. So this is my first time here and so far walking in is a nice small cafe. They serve breakfast and lunch. This first item that they gave us was a small soup not sure what it was called it was ok was not bad I just felt like it could have used more flavor for me it tasted bland. I also had sauce and egg tacos which were good I did enjoy those. Service staff was good they were attentive. This little hidden gem is our go to for Mexican food. I come from a home where my family makes it homemade so we are tough critics. This place reminds me of my Grandma's home made Mexican food! Went for breakfast today. The food was great! The service was even better. We even got cake to take home which is almost gone. The cake along with everything else was made in house (including the tortillas) and delicious. I seriously think I'm going back for a torta tomorrow, I was that impressed. As far as first impressions & atmosphere, once in the front door, go to the left for the bakery and other things or through the inner door for the restaurant. It's all glass so you can see where you're going. When you walk in, first off, the smell is wonderful, the place is bright and looks incredibly clean for a busy restaurant so kudos there. The employees were smiling & seemed happy to assist. We were told to pick a seat and were immediately brought a menu. We got our drinks and food came out quickly, fresh & hot. The manager, Franco, came around and introduced himself. He asked if everything was good and if we were completely satisfied. It was & we were. Our glasses were never empty and the food was very good. -- If not dining in, you can order at the counter for take out. You walk into this small cute restaurant and one door takes you to a meat market and one to the restaurant side. We where met by Friendly staff and given a table. Tiki hubby and I shared the elotes and BieaseTacos. The tacos full of brisket and cheese and a delicious dipping sauce and rice. Rico Elotes crispy corn, creamy, cheesy and spicy. Not one bad bite. We gave this place a shot about a month ago after dismissing it since they opened but we were so wrong for judging a book by its cover and missed out on years of deliciousness. Some of the best food we've ever had! My husband got chilaquiles with steak and I got them with carnitas (both with "green sauce"). Our son got the combo I think it's called? that had pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon; our daughter got their breakfast sandwich with potatoes. Also for some fresh tortilla that were probably the best I've ever had! I believe they were corn? Which I've never had fresh like that! Their pan dulce was delicious as was their horchata! Stopped for lunch on a Saturday since we were in the area. The restaurant was clean, brightly lit, and busy for a late afternoon. The server was very friendly and helpful when we had some questions. I had the menudo and my wife had the quesabirria lunch special, which came with two tacos and a pork tamal. Both of our entrees were delicious. I drive by Rosi's every day on my way to work so I've been waiting for them to open for quite a while now. I'm off work today so I finally had the chance to go in, making a special trip to do so. Inside was clean and bright and the people were really friendly, greeting me immediately and offering to help. I ordered the chillaquiles with both sauces (red and green), add an egg, eggs over medium. It came out quickly, the eggs were perfect, and it was absolutely delicious. The best I've had since my friend from Mexico made some homemade chillaquiles for me a few years ago. I'm definitely going back for this again next time my family and I go out for breakfast. (BTW, the red sauce was good, but the green sauce was better. Next time, I'll just get the green.) I saw they have tacos al pastor on the menu. If those are as good as the chillaquiles, this place will be a new favorite. read more

We ordered a total of 6 plates came out to a little under 100 dollars. Chilaquile plates were not bad a 8/10. We also ordered 2 plates of pancakes and chicken strips for 15 dollars each. As soon as I opened my box, I was truly disappointed, 3 overcooked pancakes with 2 "homemade" chicken strips that looked like they came straight out of a freezer . This is a small, roadside cafe run by the most delightful people! Kind, friendly and professional. My daughter ordered the pancakes, which were delicious, and I ordered the Huevos a la Mexicana with corn tortillas and ...YUM! We also sampled the hibiscus and the watermelon aguas frescas, chef's kiss. So fresh, so good, so perfect for a warm Texas morning. We then stopped by their bakery and butcher shop for fresh baked goods... because the smell was irresistible, even though we were stuffed to the gills.
