Oh yes, we will be back. Fresh made breakfast to order and Menudo and Pozole on Saturdays. I didn't get to try the ice cream, but looked so good! Service was great. Takes a minute on food. Why? Because they are making it fresh right there. So good! We had a burrito, menudo, sopes- all great!

Hamburguesa Mexicana

Very friendly and attentive service. Our food came out quickly and hot. Husband had a steak burrito that he loved. And my gordita plate was delicious! Fresh homemade tortillas! Particularly loved their chicharrón in red sauce! Will be coming back!

No complaints food was great along with the flan. Customer service was on point. Bit of a drive but worth it. Had two gorditas of Pastor along with two gorditas de carne prensada. The cheese and chicken quesadilla was nicely done.

I hit this hole-in-the-wall restaurant on my way to work. They have a good system going for ordering, receiving food and leaving. Very quick service, friendly staff and the food was top tier. I paid $12 for 3 excellent tacos, rice, beans and a topo Chico. I'll definitely have to return here soon to explore more of the menu.

Location: Clean, well ventilated, did not smelled like food as they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The tables and booths/chairs were wiped cleaned. The floor was clean and no trash. Easy to find in the shopping center they are located at. Very colorful inside. Staff: The ladies are sweet and respectful. Willing to help and answer all you questions. They offered samples before you buy like fresh waters and ice creams. They were clean when they were preparing my food and wore gloves for sanitation reasons. Food: they have a variety of goodies from fresh waters, homemade ice creams, fresh fruits, Mexican goodies and of course your tortas, tacos, gorditas and sopes. Quesadillas, flautas and borritos as well. The food menu is quiet large so for sure there is something to eat for everyone. They offer desserts like fresas con crema, flan, cheesecake and a chocolate cake... oh and gelatinas :D Quality/Portions:everything that was coming out behind that counter looked and smelled fresh. Honestly!! I am surprised how they could combined having fresh fruits and ice creams with food service and keep it clean and fast service. The large cup of fresh water is really large an Over all I really like this place. The people working here make me feel at home and that is something I like. We really enjoyed our visit. I am. Coming back!!!

Taqueria Garcia’s - Big burrito!!

The trompo tacos are legit and only $1 on Taco Tuesday. Or get 10 for $14.50 anytime. They have…read moreless meat than their other tacos so you'll want to get at least six for a meal. The green cream salsa was delicious and not spicy. My friends spoke highly of the cabeza tacos. However, they thought the birria tacos were less successful and were disappointed they didn't come with any broth for dipping.

I visited Taqueria Garcia's last week, because I just happened to be in the neighborhood. I ordered…read morefour Tacos de Trompo and Squirt drink. I was actually wanting a grapefruit Jarritos, but they did not have it. The young lady who took my order said the Squirt was Hecho en Mexico, so I took it. I didn't even know Squirt was grapefruit flavor. It did the trick! Anyways... back to the reason I stopped in - Tacos! The Tacos de Trompo were served hot and fresh and they were quite tasty. They were served with fresh cilantro and onions and two small lime wedges. They were also a few grilled onion slivers and a grilled Serrano on my plate. The young lady who took my order was friendly and was kind enough to bring my food out to my table. I really appreciated that! The only negative aspects of the meal were that I would have liked to have had more cilantro and onions, and either one more lime slice or two larger lime slices to begin with. Also, the lime slices I got were a little aged, but I still managed to squeeze out just barely enough. The house made green and red hot sauces were not very hot at all. That was kind of a bummer. All in all, I would visit Taqueria Garcia's again. So, if you're in the neighborhood and have a hankering for Street Tacos, you should give this spot a go. I did not visit the restroom, but because it was obviously not inside the restaurant, I assumed it had to be accessible only from the outside. No biggie with that. Tacos... one cannot go wrong with Tacos! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

Alrighty! As is my custom, I was craving tacos a few days ago, so after a quick map search of the…read morearea I was in, I opted for a quick visit to Los Compadres. Upon my arrival to this very unassuming little joint, located in the parking lot of an El Rancho Super Mercado, I began to wonder if I was even at the right spot. The building look's like somebody just plopped a box down, has few windows, and has plain white entry/exit doors 180 degrees opposite each other. Entering, I was hoping I was in the right place and using the right door. I was and I did. For my tacos, I ordered one each: Chorizo, Chicken, and Beef. To drink, I ordered a Jarritos Lime soft drink. The tacos were served traditional street style - two small corn tortillas for each - stuffed with meat, onions and cilantro, with a couple of lime wedges on the side. The lime wedges were super juicy and the tacos were hot and delicious!! The red and green sauces were not as full-bodied as I prefer (I like the sauces to have a solid color, smooth almost creamy look, with no seeds visible.) and neither was as hot (spicy) as I would have liked. Both sauces had about the same heat level - a solid "Three." Nevertheless, I wholly enjoyed my tacos and would definitely visit Los Compadres again! The person who took my order was friendly. The prices were reasonable and my appetite for tacos was satisfied! If you're in the area and looking for some good tacos, definitely give this little shack a try! You won't regret doing so. Also, you'll probably wish you'd ordered more tacos than you did, so go ahead and order two extra! You'll eat them!! As far as amenities, there is a handwashing station inside the "dining area," but I left not knowing whether there was an actual restroom on the premises or not. So, on that note... "go" before you go! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

Pretty average tacos. Kinda small but the prices were pretty good. Just felt like there was nothing…read moretoo crazy about these. Maybe I just caught them at a bad time, I went a little later at night. Also in the middle of this parking lot, it was kinda freaky deaky.

Nothing fancy about the decor, but everything was nice and clean. I ordered a Trompo bowl which includes their trompo (al pastor shaved off of a rotating spit), lettuce, pico de gallo, rice, lime wedges and a few small corn tortillas. In addition I ordered one carnitas taco with corn tortilla, which also came with some grilled onions on the side, some diced raw onions on the side, cilantro, a grilled jalapeno, and a few lime wedges. The total came to a little over $14 for the two items. When my order came up I was surprised by the amount of food. It was more than I expected, but it looked very good. Starting with the Trompo bowl, it was excellent. Everything very fresh, and reminded me a lot of the al pastor that I'm used to eating in California. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned, it was very satisfying. The carnitas taco was also excellent. It was moist, yet had that nice bit of char on it which gives it a bit of crunch. Very tasty. They gave me a couple of bottles of salsa to use at the table, one a reddish brown and one a slightly bright green. Both were good, but I actually liked my food more without it. Overall I was quite impressed by Trompo. I've only been to half a dozen or so Mexican places in Texas, but this one has been my favorite so far.

We got home and opened our containers to find that the fries melted the styrofoam container! Not only were they overcooked, they were unsafe to eat. I drove back and asked for a refund, only to be told that that no refunds could be issued without the manager, and the manager was not there. I spent $10 plus tax and tip for food that couldn't be eaten. The cashier didn't even offer to replace the food or do anything for the inconvenience. I left my phone number on the receipt, asking the manager to call to issue a refund. If the manager does not call me I will file a complaint about the food safety. We used to be regular patrons but if this is the quality they offer, we're never going back.
