As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted, seated and brought chips and salsa which I devoured. For starters, we had the guacamole salad and queso. We had to stop eating the queso and guacamole to save room for the main course because it was that good. My wife ordered the ground beef and shredded chicken enchiladas with all the fixings. They were very good with the red sauce and Spanish rice. The beef had a very good seasoning and the chicken had a taste like it had been marinated for a few hours. I had the beef fajitas. The beef was tender, succulent and seasoned well. The only thing that I didn't like was that the fajitas had a sweet taste to it. I believe the sweet taste was from sweet bell peppers or sweet onions, nevertheless, it was too sweet for my taste buds. We enjoyed ourselves, enjoyed the margaritas and the starters, but next time, I'll try some shrimp nachos. I give Ernesto's Mexican Restaurant three out of five drinks. Cheers!

Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. We also ordered a cup of Queso Blanco - they say it was blanco but it didn't look white to me. ‍ I ordered it the appetizer Brochette Shrimp for my entree and this is where the magic happened - this dish was amazing. Veggies well caramelized, bacon crispy - these shrimp were perfection! I will dream of these shrimp and will absolutely return to have them again.

There was no way I was going to eat any of this. I called and asked why they didn't call me to let me know they didn't have hominy in their menudo especially since I specifically asked for it, and they shouldn't just stick teeth or whatever pig product it was in people's food. It all went into the garbage. After Uber fees etc - I spent over $45 on this garbage that I couldn't eat. I think a report to the health inspector is warranted.
