It was our first time to try this quaint little place. It wasn't very busy, and we were greeted and seated right away. They served chips & salsa that was delicious... fresh chips too! We ordered beef enchiladas, and a draft beer. The enchiladas were excellent, the flavors were really great and food was hot and fresh. We did not receive the Beer! The server "forgot". Very good food. It is a little loud and the waitresses are very soft spoken. The food is good but I ordered the fajitas with as few peppers as possible and it was still 3/4 peppers. Great place to dine. We really enjoyed our food-it was fresh and delicious. I had the chicken enchiladas which were one of the best I have had here in north Texas. They served them with a sour cream sauce that was phenomenal and a side of rice and beans. Homemade tortilla chips and hot salsa were amazing too. My husband had the Mexican platter and he usually cannot finish an entire platter but, he enjoyed so much that he ate entire meal including beans. My mom had the enchilada platter and ate all her beef and chicken enchiladas to her fulfillment. I can't wait to try their tacos as my husband said they remained crunchy and delicious which is hard to do when ordering takeout. He ate it all and cannot wait to eat here again. It has become his favorite Mexican restaurant so-we plan to go from now on especially during Hispanic heritage month. I can't wait to try some more amazing dishes and will probably try their fajitas next or get a Mexican platter myself. Our first time coming here for dinner and we will return the service was great and food very tasty. I ordered the chicken Monterey with grilled veggies in place of the beans and rice. My husband had the Mexicana platter. We both left satisfied and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Also the flan was a lovely way to top off a great meal. read more

Great spot in Murphy, Texas serving "down home" food of Mexico, and some interesting special dishes like Spicy Shrimp on Fetucini noodles. I tried the Spicy Enchiladas special plate: 3 cheddar cheese enchiladas, covered in Spicy Queso, then garnished with 3 strips of Beef Fajitas, and 3 slices Avocado, and Rice & Beans sides. Wow, a big meal, and it went down quicker than I thought! Not very spicy, for my taste, but good flavors, everything fresh. Waitress was very nice, and asked if I needed more salsa! We've just recently visited this restaurant even though it's been open for many years. When we visited, there were lots of regular customers who knew the restaurant staff well. Got there early with no major crowds or tables so it was not busy, as well as no where near closing time or trying to wrap up the restaurant for closing. Never checked up and had to wait till the end to even see her again for any needed utensils, refills, condiments, etc. Food is not what I was expecting, tacos fill with slim fillings and very basic, overall was expecting more. All if the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was the best mexican food I have had in Murphy to date. Chips and salsa were very good. A little kick but not too much. We also ordered queso, enchiladas fajita nachos and margaritas of course. $5 margaritas were worth every penny. The came in a large schooner. I am sure upgrading the tequila would make them a little stronger but after my recent experience with an awful margarita at Nico's this was a welcome surprise. I was nervous this might be less tex-mex and more traditional Mexican for my liking but I was pleasantly surprised. We finished with 4 sopapillas for like $2.50. Great food fajitas plate is the best. Margaritas are great they have different flavors

Atmosphere, location location location and fast service. Great wait staffs are easy to spot because they are the ones who "bother" you by asking if you need anything else. Sometimes I choose service over food, presentation over follow up. Overall the FIFA 2018 Final was on, our waitress was great and smiled a lot even though at times we forgot to eat. My strong recommendation is the bean/bacon/onion mix that comes in a cup... enjoy, we are coming back soon. read more

Absolutely horrible food and even worse service. Host was rude. Waitress got 3/4 meals we ordered wrong, food was cold and made with MSG and other cheap, low-quality ingredients, my bill (which was supposed to be split, but was not) had higher prices than what the menu stated (by about $5 per meal). To top it off when I went to review them on Google I noticed the "5-star" review accounts were fakes. Beware. read more
