So I came here on Cinco de Mayo and I'm actually surprised that I never heard of this restaurant. I wanted to try the viral drink that I saw on TikTok, but the food was really kind of did it for me. I believe it's a family owned local style restaurant so these type of places are always my favorite anyway. The service is good. The food is good and the special margarita was also good. We visited Richardson's location for dinner, ordered fajitas. We were served some salsa and stale chips before dinner. Which is customary in all Tex-Mex Restaurants.. Salsa was mostly ketchup with some tomato sauce. It tasted sweet. We asked the server if she had a spicier salsa, she brought about one tablespoon in a sample size plastic container of an acceptable salsa. The food/meat was ok, but the tortillas were terrible and cold. The server seemed to be tired and just brought the food, and the salsa and never came back until we requested the bill. The restaurant charged us more than 2.00 dollars for the sample size of salsa. (It was about one tablespoon~15 mL). We just paid and left very dissatisfied. We have never been charged extra for one tablespoon of salsa. The food is ok, but considering the portion served, it is overpriced. We will never go back. read more

Just tried it after a long while. Service was very quick, as was the food delivery. It is a restaurant that hasn't been updated in quite some time, but it is fine as a casual, local, Mexican restaurant. It's clean and cozy. The chips are warm and delicious and the enchiladas are full of freshly cooked chicken (what we ordered). The prices are good too! Friendly people, great food. Friday night and the hubby and I were in the mood for some Fajitas. Dos Charros came through with ALL THE SMOKE! Chips and salsa were warm and bottomless. We ordered the Spicy Charros Especial which was Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp Fajitas that came with Beans, Rice, Pico, Guacamole, and Sour Cream. The corn Tortillas were thick and hearty. The perfect vessel to carry the smoking hot Fajitas straight to our mouths! The Beef was tender and well seasoned, while the chicken brought in just the right amount of heat. The shrimp was succulent and paired with the slightly Charred onions on the bottom of the platter put it all over the top! You really didn't need the accompaniments, but they were so good. The only thing that could have made it better, was if I had some butter to spread onto my Tortillas before filling them up! The portion size was enough for both of us the eat our fill and STILL had some leftover for home! We have tried Dos Charros on 3 different occasions. They just don't make the cut! The atmosphere is so dated, worn out and down right in disrepair. The seat cushions are ripped, tables scared and dishware chipped. The food is also dated, an El Charrito mexican frozen dinner has more taste. The beans taste like wallpaper paste and the chicken used in the enchiladas is canned. Service has always been efficient. There are too many other choices of delicious mexican food to have to settle for Dos Charros. read more

He was very nice and full of fun and information of the restaurant and the owners "HIS MOM"! He was great we order the combo platter, queso ( some of the best I have had in a while) , chicken enchiladas with tequila cream sauce was superb. The place is beautiful inside and very upscale. Always a good time at Dos Charros! My boyfriend's family has been going here for years and now it's one of my favorite places to eat as well. Locally owned and family operated establishment that has some tasty food and awesome staff. Their margaritas are delicious and definitely pack a punch. Some places skimp on the alcohol, but this place pours great. The chips and salsa are delicious as well. The chips aren't salty and taste fresh. My boyfriend's family varies their order here, but I usually get some variation of the taco salad either with fajita meat or shredded chicken. I just love the fried tortilla bowl that the salads come in which makes it so hard for me to try something new. Maybe I'll just have to each here for lunch and dinner one day. This last time I ordered the beef fajita salad with no cheese which will now be my new regular order. The beef was not dry and there was plenty to go around. My boyfriend ordered the #2 this last time and it joined the clean plate club. He also recommends their chimichanga. Their fajitas are also delicious. It's a combination of beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas and grilled sausage with all the fajita veggies and cheese in a huge molcajeté! The rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and pico are also part of the dish. The hot homemade tortillas help make this dish one we will order every time we go! Our servers Gloria and Jean Pierre were delightful and added to our great experience! They work on Monday and Tuesday, so pay them a visit and get the Molajeté dish! There was no host but it's not seat yourself. Getting seated took longer than I would have thought even with no wait. Just took time for someone to finally seat me. The chips were kind of thick and hard like a bagged tortilla chip, not like a freshly fried corn tortilla. The salsa, while not horrible, tastes exactly like pace picante sauce. They give out small cups of fideo with chips however I didn't get any though saw other tables get it. I did ask but he said he didn't understand me so I left it alone. Service is terrible. I still don't know who my server was. One lady took my drink order, another lady dropped off the chips and salsa and also my drink, what seemed to be perhaps a manager took my order, and a third lady brought me my food. It was the manager who took my order that I asked about the fideo but he said he didn't understand me. I was never checked on once. I flagged down the chip/drink lady for the check and box however they were brought by a lady I hadn't seen before. I ordered the tamales with rice and charro beans. The rice was fine, the beans had no flavor however the tamales were actually really good. Tamales were full of meat and not just all masa. The Chile con carne on top of the tamales was very flavorful. Plus the lunch portion had three tamales so it was plenty of food. The tea was also good. Overall, wouldn't return. If you're looking for cheap and fast try it out. If you like flavor and good service, this isn't the place. read more

I really enjoy fine in at this location. But if you plan on taking it home, think twice, or at a minimum unpack it all and check the results of your 15 minute wait. I wouldn't even be writing this if it wasn't for the third time of feeling frustrated . Covid has all of us hurting, but fair is fair and this is not right. Very prompt service waited probably less then 10 min food was out. Server was very attentive ensuring we didn't need anything else. As for food they start you off with chips and salsa and provide you a cup of fideo soup which was ehh it had way to much cilantro it totally over powered the taste. For my meal I chose cheese enchiladas with spicy queso and chicken fajita toppings it was good nothing special. It was my first time coming in here; this place is across the street from my job & since I was without a car that day, I decided to give it a go. The decor is really cute and I love the little bar in the back. I ordered the Tacos al carbon with beef. They brought me out some chips and salsa which was really good, and a small cup of their soup (complimentary) since it was a cold day out. The little soup was so good, and such a nice touch. My lunch came out very hot and super quick! The server didn't come back to ask me how the food was though, I wanted to ask for sour cream and hot sauce but I still ate the entire dish because it was delicious & a condiment isn't the end of the world.
