Great Taqueria right off George Bush and Jupiter. Our 1st time to try and sorry we have waited so long. Nice lady behind the counter was very Patience with us as we could not read menu but lot's of pictures to point and pick. Tiki Hubby and I shared the sope plate - 2 large over stuffed sandwiches we got ours with beef but they have many options for meat or vegan options. Sandwich stuffed with beans, Mexican white cheese, beef, lettuce and a light sauce. Comes with really yummy rice and beans. They have a self serve warm homemade chips and 2 sauces to choose from. Tables with TV's with sports on.

And the margaritas are strong and well priced, we have eaten at other mexican food establishments and they charge $18 for sweet lime-aid. We usually ask for Eric since he's our favorite! Table-side guacamole is a Yum, as anything with brisket. The beef fajitas are the most tender we have ever tasted. If you like spicy salsa, ask for the Verde salsa. Menas you make our tastebuds dance!!!

The bartender was attentive, kind, and professional. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and you can tell they have loyal regulars, which always speaks well of a restaurant. The staff overall seemed consistent and friendly. Now for the food. I ordered the queso to start. The flavor was good, but it wasn't hot -- more lukewarm than fresh-out-the-kitchen warm. For my entrée, I had the skirt steak with beans, pico de gallo, enchilada, and rice. The flavors were solid, but again, the plate came out lukewarm. For a Tex-Mex spot, temperature really matters. I don't need it piping hot, but I do expect my food to feel freshly made and properly heated when it arrives. That was my only disappointment. I've ordered carryout before without issue, and because the service and vibe are strong, I will definitely be back to give it another try. I just hope next time the food comes out hot and fresh. Overall: great service, good flavors, strong local energy -- just room for improvement on food temperature.

They take tender chicken enchiladas and generously blanket them in a rich, complex mole sauce that's prepared fresh each morning with the traditional ritual of toasting, grinding, and simmering spices, chiles, nuts, and chocolate. The result is a sauce that's bold yet balanced--savory and earthy with subtle sweetness, a gentle heat, and layers of depth that coat the soft corn tortillas and juicy shredded chicken beautifully. It's served alongside black beans (frijoles negros) and rice, creating a satisfying plate that's comforting and elevated at the same time. Many diners describe it as mouthwatering, excellent, and one of the best takes on chicken mole enchiladas around, with the sauce often stealing the show for its authenticity and flavor harmony. At around $20, it's a solid value for the quality and portion. The restaurant itself nails that perfect blend of modern Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican cuisine in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The space feels trendy yet welcoming--dim lighting at dinner for a cozy vibe or bright and airy during brunch--with friendly, attentive service that makes you feel like family. Reviewers consistently rave about how the staff is knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions, and genuinely happy to serve. Cocktails are a highlight (fresh, creative, and perfectly paired with the food), and the overall menu shines with other standouts like birria stacked enchiladas, tacos de camaron, short rib tacos, fajitas, and coastal-inspired dishes, but the mole enchiladas remain a classic favorite for those seeking traditional depth with a polished twist.

I don't have any one big complaint. It just doesn't really hit with me when I'm looking for this type of cuisine. We went for the cocktail program. It's pretty standard for what you pay nowadays. I'm short, this place is average at the price point. I can't think of a scenario where we would be coming back unless someone invited me for a birthday or something.

Unfortunately, since the ownership change, the experience just hasn't been the same. The customer service is still decent, and I genuinely enjoy their spicy Mexican martini -- that's honestly the main reason I still stop by. However, the food quality has noticeably declined. Over the past year, I've experienced stomach issues after eating here, which had never happened to me before under the previous ownership. I'm not sure if it's a change in ingredients, preparation methods, or sourcing, but something is clearly different. It's disappointing because this used to be a go-to spot. I truly hope the new management takes a closer look at the food quality and consistency. There's a strong history here, and it would be great to see it restored.
