I recommend this place to anyone who loves good Mexican food. The service is excellent. I recommend the carne asada; it tastes great and the presentation is excellent. The chile con queso is delicious. Other places don't use good cheese, but the one they serve here tastes like real cheddar cheese, and the dessert, with churros filled with cream, was just like the ones in Mexico City. We'll soon have a reservation for 40 to 50 people, as they have a private room for this number of people. My family has been here twice so far and may not be back. The first time the soup was way too salty and the enchiladas with beef were just ok. The second time the fajitas had no seasoning. They were blan. The soup was salty again and so was the queso. Just not sure if we will come back. read more

Stumbled across this nice Tex Mex restaurant on the outskirts of Garland. Located in a small plaza next to an assortment of other businesses that include a nail shop and an Italian restaurant.Bajio appears to be a family owned business. We were greeted and offered exceptional customer service. There is a good amount of seating and a bar area. The wait time for the food didn't take long at all, especially for a Saturday night. Chips and salsa were on point while we waited for the food. Salsa tasted so good , it felt like it was fresh out of the garden. I did the ground beef nachos and they were so filling and delicious. The mangonada was actually really well made and satisfying. This was a great overall experience and I would love to come back and try more options . read more

Just had lunch, all delicious. The Tres Leches cake was incredible! Guacamole fresh and the bean dip was yummy.
