It's never a bad day if you're going to Frankie's, especially on Mother's Day. Their food is top-notch, their service is always excellent, our waiter had an amazing attitude and took a joke really well! It's just hands-down one of our most favorite places to eat! Wanna get on a good side? Take me to Frankie's for lunch or dinner!! we love you!

Been a while since I've been to Frankie's...like since COVID. They have enclosed the patio since I was there last, which has at least doubled their capacity, which is great! I ordered the fresh lemonade w cucumber and they aren't kidding, it's very fresh and refreshing! I ordered the brisket enchiladas and they are amazing! They have just a bit of kick to them but not overly spicy at all. Their fresh guacamole is so creamy and best of all (for me) no cilantro. Their service was quick and they are very professional and friendly. Even if they don't know you or remember you, that treat you like they do!

So it has been a minute since this visit, life is getting a little busy, recently engaged and currently handling some minor health issues. That's enough of that. We love Frankie's and there was a festival Holiday atmosphere. The service is always top shelf. Waiters / waitresses are always attentive. Fresh chips and wonderful and flavorful salsa. I enjoyed some tamales. Prefect just like grandma would make. Sweet tea to enjoy as well. We are looking forward to our next visit to Frankie's. I expect You and Your Family should too.

Good food, great service, excellent chips and salsa. The brisket enchiladas with poblano cream sauce was terrific and I'll definitely go back for more.

This is one of those "if-you-know-you-know" kind of places. It's easy to miss if you're just driving by. I met someone there for lunch and the first good sign was the crowd fill of construction workers and laborers. Always trust the working lunch crowd to know what is good, fast and filling. The service was great , everyone was smiling and said hello. It's an unpretentious place with a warm local feel. For lunch I had the build your own enchiladas special. I had 3 chicken enchiladas with mole sauce plus a side of rice and borracho beans. You can mix and match fillings, sauces and sides so the combinations are endless. My lunch date had the ceviche, which also came with mini tostadas with guac, and a side of chicken stuffed deep fried jalapeños. Those were a hit. Service was quick, the food hit the spot, and it was a relaxed vibe. Frankie's has been around for a while for good reason. It's a no frills Tex Mex place.

Last minute dinner w big group of friends and this place accommodated all of us with out hesitation. Our service was exceptional despite being in such a big group- well done. Food was not bad at all. Would definitely come back if near by.

Three food is always great and the service is wonderful. This is a true neighborhood gem that continues to be best in class when it comes to tex mex cuisine.

Texas has great Mexican Cuisine, likely the best in the US. Visited Frankies this past weekend. As with all good Mexican restaurants, it looks just okay inside and out. It's kinda the way you want Mexican restaurants to look. We were a party of four with a baby. Our party was promptly seated, even on a busy Saturday evening. The infant chair was promptly delivered with along with freshly made tortilla chips and hot/mild sauces. After a recommendation, we all had the Brisket enchiladas served with beans and rice. The brisket was pulled and shredded, then wrapped in slightly crusted tortillas. The food was awesome as was the service. You gotta try Frankies.

Marvelous, best and most reasonably priced Tex-Mex in the area. Very, very friendly weight staff. I love sitting in the patio area.

It's a cool restaurant that has a lot of seating, and cool decor with Guitars displayed on the wall and a small stage for performers. We walked up to where you order. It was counter service and the guy that took our order was laid back. We paid, he gave us a number and then we chose a place to sit and waited for our food. We ordered several items to share. We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

We have been to some nicer hole-in-the-wall restaurants, that we liked better, and felt more at home. The conference room chairs are uncomfortable, along with the flat decor with loud colors.
