This is our first time here. My boss invited us because of the great beer selection. Well, I agree. This is the best and greatest beer selection I've had since living in Michigan. The waitress was not good though. She was not attentive at all. I had a great beer called "Sit Down or I'll Sit You Down" and probably would have had 2 if the waitress would have asked me. Also, I switched to a hot toddy and my tea got cold until I asked for another drink. I did not like that. The product is great but the service experienced was not great by far. I don't even know the waitress' name but she was nice when she did come to see us. I was sitting with a cold hot toddy during the start of this review. The bar is inside of the Alamo movie theatre and is more like a cool hole in the wall. Will I visit this spot again? Of course! It's a great spot with great drinks.

Free Play is fun and a great bargain in my opinion at 13 dollars a person per entry. You can stay…read moreas long as you'd like and continue playing games, all in free play mode! There are a variety of games- PacMan, a foosball like hockey game, racing games, pinball, frogger, shooting games, old classics like Fix-it-Felix, DDR, shooting hoops, skee ball and more! It's relatively clean and employees come help is something is glitchy or a ball is stuck in the basketball game, for example. They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. Everything else was in good working order!

I visited on Father's Day, and dads got in free, which made for a great bonus…read more If you enjoy classic arcade games, this place is well worth a visit. For about $13, you get unlimited free play all day, making it an excellent value. The arcade is a little smaller than some of the other Free Play locations, but it's packed with classic games from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s, along with a nice selection of pinball machines. There's a full-service bar and food menu. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there aren't many places to set down a drink while playing, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. The arcade is tucked away in an older shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Even with the Father's Day crowd, the staff stayed busy while remaining friendly and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it's a fun and affordable place to spend a few hours, whether you're reliving your childhood or introducing someone else to classic arcade games.

10/10 experience at PURE Social in Richardson!…read more From the moment I walked in, the customer service was excellent. I wish I remembered the name of the young lady who took care of us--it was actually her birthday tonight--but she was amazing and made the experience even better. The tacos were SO good! The DJ, music, food, and overall vibe were all on point. You can tell PURE Social has a great team and that they genuinely take pride in the establishment. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and put together beautifully. As a businesswoman myself, I pay attention to those details, and PURE Social definitely impressed me. Great customer service can make or break an experience, and their team gets a 10/10 from me. If you're visiting Dallas or you're anywhere in the Richardson/North Dallas area, I highly recommend checking out PURE Social. If you're looking for a nice, grown 35+ vibe, definitely put this spot on your list. Kudos to the entire PURE Social team! I hope this establishment is around for a very long time. I will DEFINITELY be back!

This place was interesting. The music was good with the live DJ. Said they had karaoke but while I…read morewas there, there was no karaoke. The place was big and spacious and maybe on another day when the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day maybe it's a better vibe than what it was when I went this past Saturday. The food was very lackluster. I had a steak and asked for a steak knife. They gave me the sharpest butter knife they had. That was odd. My water came in a plastic cup wasn't expecting that. We also had the chicken and waffles and the chicken tasted old. It was not fresh. Or at least it did not taste fresh. The potatoes were very good, however. The grits not so much The drinks were a good special at five dollars a drink, but they were so sweet. All in all this vibe wasn't for me but if you like a good DJ vibe and some sweet cheap drinks then you may love this place.
