    Iced Latte Frappe
    Lizette T.

Finally tried this place after visiting the nearby Cinemark and I was not disappointed! I tried the iced vanilla latte which is my go to and my husband tried the cookies and cream frappe and both were delicious. I would definitely come back, the service was good and the location near the water was excellent!

Stopped by here on the way to a work meeting. It was a little hard to locate in the mail but luckily Google maps to the rescue. It is a nice location and they do various types of coffees including coffee / concoction of the month. They also have some tables available with wifi if you need to do work of any kind

The staff was very warm, and the service was quick! The whole spot felt very cozy, and the lake and lighthouse at the Harbor outside is a very nice place to walk around. I got the white praline chocolate praline viennois, and I thought the coffee was okay. Have to come back to try the crowaffle, the baby of a croissant and a waffle. Lots of people frequent this shop after walking around this area. They have very cute mugs and jars!

if you want real coffee, DO NOT COME HERE! this place is more of a gift shop than a cafe. we were not greeted when we first walked in, i ordered a pour over and i watched how they created the drink and i was disappointed. i was expecting a craft drink to be made but it was a complete joke.

    Coconut latte

While staying in Forney, Tx I was looking for local coffee shops and stumbled upon Huckabees. The inside was so cute with lots of teas, coffees, mugs and local handmade candles. I ordered an iced coconut latte with oat milk (half sweet) & it was creamy with just the right amount of coconut. The reason for knocking 2 stars off would be the service here. A friend of mine ordered a large latte and they gave her a small. After telling them that she paid for a large, they proceeded to dump her coffee into a large cup and just add more ice with a small amount of milk. Normally there is a different amount of espresso shots in a small vs a large latte & the fact that they didn't remake the coffee to put in the correct amount of coffee/milk ratio is ridiculous. After all of my friends had got their coffee, the barista placed a drink on the counter. Thinking the it was mine I walked towards the counter and the barista lets me know that the drink is for a customer outside. So as I continue to wait and linger around, I realize the baristas aren't making anymore drinks. I walk towards the counter and one of them ask me if we got everything and I told her I was waiting for my coconut latte, she then tells me that she thinks that the drink on the counter is mine. And I'm like uhhh you said that was for the other lady outside. She then says oh no I believe that's yours, & that she got confused.

    Mini-lighthouse on the lake.

I liked the otter theme for this lakeside coffee shop. They carry a wide range of flavored lattes and teas. There's a big wall of merchandise including coffee beans, candles, t-shirts, stuffed toys, mugs and more. Lots of high-priced amateur art was on display during my visit. 90's rock music played softly on the speakers. I tried a caramel rum latte which had a hint of burnt flavor to it as well as a vanilla steamer, which had a lovely, not overpowering sweetness. The service was fast and friendly. The biggest attraction here, of course, is the stunning views of the lake. You can't see the lake from inside the coffee shop, but it's a short walk down the promenade to a mini-lighthouse, outdoor concert stage and boat dock. It refreshes the soul to see that beautiful view and feel the crisp breeze!

Huckabees Coffee was a lovely evening treat. We enjoyed an iced passion fruit tea and almond waffle with ice cream. The employees were friendly and offered great suggestions. They sell ice cream and other sweet treats. They have a full coffee menu too. It's in a great location, so you can walk outside and enjoy the water front views.

This place wasn't too bad! When you don't want to go to Starbucks this is the place to go! Located right on the Harbour, it's so conveniently located. After coffee I walked around the shops and the dock. Lots of variety too. Decently priced but more like Starbucks prices, especially if you're looking to support local.

service and ambience was warm and inviting. place is fairly small but great for a quick stop. recently enjoyed a strawberry lemonade which was great. would go back !

    French toast sticks

Good spot for drinks, pastries and when craving something sweet. We got the French toast sticks, lavender chamomile tea, vanilla chai latte, and cinnamon infused latte (cafe de olla) & a few other drinks - all great! Came back the next day to try other things on & off the menu and we all enjoyed our drinks! Place is clean. Atmosphere is good as well

Just by the Harbor hidden around Gloria and Giovani store- it's a small but charming place for good coffee and light breakfast like Croissants, Croissants with turkey, ham and cheese.

We sat down at our table at Red Dirt Social to visit for 10 minutes - and the manager (or owner maybe?) commented how his space was built just for this reason - to relax and enjoy time. We never felt rushed, or felt like they wanted our table. That was refreshing! The space is lovely - truly! It was bright, open, minimal decor and it all worked beautifully together. Someone out real thought into decorating this space for people to gather and relax, and it showed. I ordered the pats (oatmeal) with fresh fruit and it was perfect! All the fruit blended well together for my oatmeal. I enjoyed every bite. I cannot wait to bring my husband back to see how much Fate has grown and to eat here once more. It's worth it!

Only thing we would not order the donut casserole not because its not fantastic it is. But the waffle fries had some kind of sweetness in the batter so it satisfied my sweet tooth. The chicken was so well cooked! We ultimately turned it into knife and fork because it fell apart but who cares. The panini ... eggs so soft and moist.
