Excellent experience at Woodbridge Cafe! The service is on point, the food is hot and delicious and the price is unbeatable! This was our first visit and will not be the last. I had the Denver omelet with grits and blueberry pancakes, while my husband had the bacon and eggs with grits and upgraded to a waffle. No complaints about any item. Can't wait to come back and try more items on their menu! read more

Family dining, grab your own seat, no fuss diner food! I always grab the omelette here and build it myself. Ask for extra crispy bacon! Lately the service has been a little bit slower but I don't mind as they're always so nice about it. Our toddler adored her pancakes and wants DJ go again! read more

I stopped by Woodbridge Cafe for breakfast on my way to meet a Customer in Wylie this morning. I ordered a typical American breakfast from the various dishes on the menu. The sausage patties, sunny-side-up eggs, hash browns, and buttermilk pancakes were all delicious, especially the eggs, which were really fresh. The staff were friendly and they also had a variety of food, so I will definitely come back next time I am in the area. read more

Overall a good selection with quality for the price and friendly service. Friendly service seems to be dropping off over the years in the restaurant industry. I like the eggs Benedict as it's one of the few places that offer it done well. One of the best breakfast and lunch places in Sachse, Texas. read more

We went for breakfast this morning and it was our first time. The menu is nice and simple, with a lot of options. I had the sausage and eggs with hashbrowns and pancakes. My husband had the country fried steak. Staff was great and attentive. The only reason I gave a 4 stars is because the bathroom was dirty and the changing table was gross. Parking is plenty! read more

I've been here before and knew it was a delightful experience so we're back! As you can see just something simple was called for and they delivered, service was prompt and a good sense of humor was included which is very important these days, as for the food it was what I expected and wasn't disappointed. The decor was what you'd expect in a smaller town restaurant and only added to the breakfast experience, coffee was delicious and the tables were clean and stocked with normal condiments so all and all a wonderful meal here in Sachse...enjoy. read more

This is my favorite local breakfast spot, i have brought my disabled Marine Corps Vietnam Vet here for breakfast and we feel like we're treated like family. When my Dad is not feeling like moving around much I'll order for pick up or delivery. We order my Dads favorite breakfast off the menu. Woodbridge cafe has their own app that is simple to navigate. The service is great, including their delivery service. The ambiance is that of a local restaurant. I look forward to coming in again read more

Finally had a chance to try this cafe out... I've picked up quite a few DoorDash orders here, so I figured it must be good! From all four of our meals, the chicken fried steak was the best. Unfortunately it seemed like the corned beef hash, wasn't fresh & their sausage gravy was also no that great, Just a bowl of gravy with crumbled sausage sprinkled on top... read more

Really disappointed with the server today trying to tell me the hair in my egg was egg lace when it was a pubic hair. I had to pick it up and show her but she just looked at me. I've been eating here for years and actually have been ordering breakfast here almost twice a week over the last 6-8weeks. I'm so disappointed by her rude response to me and I decided just to leave. This is not the way to treat regulars or any customer. She gave me very rude looks and attitude. I will not be returning. I will start eating at Starwood Cafe or Waffle House instead since you are confusing body hair and egg lace! Gross! read more

Mistake #1. Went on mother's day. Mistake #2. Totally understaffed in the kitchen and wait staff. Also the host staff were teenagers who had no idea what they are doing. Took 15 minutes to place our order. After 20 minutes no food. We left. Manager there seemed like he did not care. Next time tell people how long its going to take. No one cares about your staffing problems. read more

We let Yelp pick breakfast as we were way on the other side of town. This is a very popular spot, we discovered and for great reasons! This place is easy to find, plenty of parking and pretty simple interior. The surprise is both the Pizza place and the Café share the dining room and staff :) The service was prompt, polite and very helpful. Every server treated you like you were their customer! The food on the other tables was very distracting as it smelled and looked so good! I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and the pancakes were fantastic! The chicken fried steak was very flavorful. The eggs were quite good as well! Price was very reasonable for the food quality and service. read more

OH MY GOSH!!! This place is our regular Go-To almost every weekend. The food is fresh and awesome!!! This cafe is family-owned & friendly. The service is usually very good but being short-staffed may slow a bit. The food is very tasty!!! The cooks do a great job here. This is a Must-Try!!! read more

Little joint in a strip mall. Got there bout 10a and we were 1of 3 tables, missed breakfast rush and lunch crowd. I had the Denver omelette, she had pancakes and both were very good, large portions too. Our waitress was very good, the prices were very reasonable and place was clean. We will return. read more

Always friendly and good home cooked food. Lots of seating never had to wait. I also ordered to go frequently and the food is always plentiful and on par with what you would get in the restaurant. read more

The location is small and in a plaza so it's easy to miss if your not looking. However, it's busy which always gives me a good feeling on the quality of food. The service was quick and the environment was clean which is always a plus, especially during Covid standards. I order the oatmeal and fresh fruit. The oatmeal was on the the thicker side and the added strawberries, black berries, and blueberries was the perfect amount of sweetness. Theyprovided a side of milk and brown sugar. Halfway through I wanted to try these add ins. I'm happy I did because it was a good way to bring it all together. My father ordered the chicken fried steak. From his order I only tasted the breading of the steak and the gravy. I loved the gravy it's thick and has a great pepper taste. I feel like the breading on the steak was more bland and it really didn't stick to the steak so more of a soggy texture was happing here. I would definitely return to this location because the menu is favorable in comparison with the portions and price! I can see why people return to this place and I'd like to myself to see what other dish I may love more than what I've already tried. read more

Service has gone downhill. I use to order breakfast every morning from there cause it is halfway to work. Bowl of grits and juice. Should take less than 10 mins. today it took more than 15 mins and the grits were cold and I was ignored after I said what I was here for. No longer see the owner and after they got rid of certain servers you no longer get the good customer service I once received. read more

YUM! I came here on a Monday morning with my family (2 toddlers; 3 adults) for breakfast and we were not disappointed! The location has plenty of parking and eeasy to find in the shopping plaza. The restaurant in itself is small so if you have a party larger than 10 you may feel cramped. The best part of this place is obviously the food which was DELICIOUS and AMAZING! I got the veggie skillet and it was the perfect breakfast. It had mushrooms, spinach, peppers & onions topped with hashbrowns, cheese and 2 over medium eggs. I loved it because it was flavorful but not heavy and the portion size was perfect. I also got a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was toasted on the grill with butter which was new for me but it was delicious as well. The food came quickly and it was hot! We all loved the breakfast and service. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area!! read more

The wait time at our fav breakfast spot, Scrambler Cafe was long so we thought we'd try out Woodbridge Cafe. Sunday morning wait time here wasn't bad for being as busy as they were- about 10 minutes. Our booth seats hadn't been wiped down and had stuff all over them, and one of them was sticky, but it was peak service time so we just wiped them down. Our waitress Lindsey gave some helpful food recommendations. I had the vegetarian omelette with grits and pancakes with a side of strawberries. It was a delicious omelette! Loved all my food. Especially liked how fluffy the pancakes are here. Our son said his hamburger was greasy but good, and he really liked the fries and the seasoning on them. Our other son ordered the banana pancakes and said they were pretty good and very filling. My husband ordered a BLT and said it was ok, but said the bacon slices weren't like the thick cut pieces at Scrambler cafe in Murphy. I want to commend the kitchen staff. We could see them from our booth and they were earnestly working to get all the orders out quickly. Hard to find reliable workers these days. This is a good place to get a generous portion for breakfast if you are in the area. read more

We tried this place for Sunday breakfast and it was really good. We were greeted and seated right away. The host brought us hot coffee immediately. They kept the hot coffee coming the whole time we were there! I ordered the iron man omelette and it was divine. It was full of fresh veggies and low-fat mozzarella wrapped in egg whites. The hash browns were hot and fresh and the toast was good. My hunky stud muffin ordered a basic breakfast of eggs, hash browns, bacon and a biscuit with gravy. He said it was great but the gravy was just okay. Service was very attentive and friendly. Overall it was great and we'll be back. read more

Great Saturday Breakfast stop, before a long day of errands. Second visit and this place continues to be worth the drive. Tiki Hubby of course went with the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, and small stack of some of the best pancakes of course a large coated perfect steak smothered in creamy peppery gravy. We have learned there is always enough food to share, so I just ordered a side of two eggs over easy and whole wheat toast. Not one bad bite. Breakfast enough fir two with tea for $17.00. With a 1/2 chicken fried steak sandwich for later and 2 pancakes for the birds. Social distancing, hand gel on every table masked employees. Let me take a minute to talk about the friendly staff, no request is too much our waitress was a doll. read more

I have been coming here frequently ever since it opened 2-3 years ago - only sporadically dining in nowadays due to the pandemic, but still ordering takeout and delivery often. I've noticed the quality has gone downhill after the change in management and portion sizes have decreased over time. They've been cutting corners especially in the past few months, but today was the last straw. The chicken tenderloins that I ordered for takeout this morning were very dry and almost inedible. My mom and I found the Denver Omelet to be overcooked significantly the past few visits; she is a manager at the Waffle House (a chain I'm not even particularly fond of) down the street, so we're familiar with how eggs are supposed to be prepared. Not to mention, the restaurant overcharges when ordering using 3rd Party Services, and then tries to persuade customers not to order from their 3rd Party Services in an effort to get free advertising. "We are asking everyone to use our Woodbridge Cafe branded app or website when placing online orders. We do have DoorDash, however they charge the restaurant high fees for every order. The customer is also charged higher fees to use the DoorDash service." Restaurant neglects to mention that the restaurant actually sets the menu prices to be higher - so in all, it's not so much that they are actually losing money off these aforementioned "high fees" charged to the restaurant by DoorDash. read more

Everything at this place was excellent, and my experience here could have been considered a 5 star one. Food and service were superb. Atmosphere could use some additions, but it is serviceable as is. Listen up Yelpers! While this is the usual strip mall place we all have to frequent in the area, this is the real thing as far as Food and Service go. Very courteous service, wide selection of offerings. Ordered the Hobo Skillet - eggs over sausage, onions and hash browns with cheese with pancakes on the side. Most excellent, very tasty! Done perfectly! The pancakes were perfect! Too many places don't know what they are doing as they cook them on too hot a service. You end up with pancakes with the signature cardboard surface that not only tastes bad but has a terrible texture. These were perfectly fluffy and delicious! Now that I've found it I'll be a regular - recommend it highly! read more

A little slow service at the beginning, the other servers did not cover for our server who was on a short break. Once our server returned service was excellent. This was our first dining in experience at Woodbridge Cafe, having eaten the food delivered by Uber. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, the server and who we believed was the owner or manager were very attentive to our beverage needs. We plan to continue ordering meals, but will now drive to the Cafe for in person dining as well. I highly recommend the food whether you eat in, pick up, or have it delivered, your meal will be excellent. The manager or owner, and our server made our experience great, despite the slow start. read more
