    Crispy Fries

Burger Hut is near one of my working areas, decided to give it a try. Wylie HS is right in front and it was lunch time some students there but not bad. One thing I did notice is the customer service, as far as greeting was kit there. Idk, to me I chose to come to u you our establishment and I would hope a decent welcome to any customer. Did not get that vibe from gentleman at the counter. So I ordered the cowboy burger with domes with a onion ring and bbq sauce. I have to say there was little to seasoning on that patty, bbq sauce was ehh which is not bad, just nothing special. Fries were ok, good amount of salt and not soggy, overall I would not come back here. It just was not much of an experience.

Lettuce wrap burger mushroom and Swiss with a side of fries .

I really like this burger place right across from Wylie High school. I got a mushroom, Swiss onion burger with jalapeños on a lettuce wrap with a side of fries. The burger was healthy and phenomenal. I got there right when they opened. The owner is really nice, although when taking my order he was on the phone talking to his health insurance, and was messing up my order. That is why I gave 4 stars. The food is amazing. I would definitely come back, as the burger was not greasy and everything was clean cut and superb!

Amazing food is so fresh I love it I got the classic burger added with bacon, a vanilla milkshake fries, and a Coke

Nashville hot chicken sandwich if you like spicy food is great. They put Cole slaw on it it Balance the heat and it's great. I hate Cole slaw but this stuff was fresh and good. While the chicken has heat its not insane crazy if you can handle spicy. If McDonald's spicy chicken is to spicy for you, just turn around and leave... actually they have wings and things so you prob find other stuff.... the loaded Nashville fries were great as well but at that point I was all chickened out...added ranch to the fries and they were great the chopped up chicken tenders on top will have to wait till tomorrow...

    Burgers & fries.

Great burgers! We had the mushroom burger & cowboy burger. Both delicious! Would definitely recommend

I didn't get a good greeting when entering. Didn't ask if it was my 1st time which this was. Nobody recommended anything. For lunch time at 12:15pm you would think it would be busy but it wasn't. Surprised too since across the street from High School. Burger patty needs a little more seasoning. Sweet potato fries were cooked well for not being fresh. Definitely from frozen bag.

    Mushroom burger

Beyond expectations. Our first time here- the burgers are delicious! Juicy beef patties, fluffy light buns, thick bacon strips on the Cowboy burger, amazing sautéed mushrooms on the mushroom burger, and sweet potato fries cooked to perfection. Very clean inside the restaurant. The menu is visually well organized and easy to see what your ordering. This is now our "go-to" burger place. Oh! And the milkshake hit the spot!

Located in unassuming part of Wylie/St.Paul the restaurant is smack down in the middle of the strip along other places I wanted to try. I ordered their Carne Frita con Arroz. Flavorful chunks of pork which came with fried banana, rice, and beans.. Even though I've never had an actual Puerto Rican food, I expected a whole lot of flavor just by reading about cuisine. I really enjoyed the carne frita and thought it is almost similar to lechon kawali (Filipino dish) but this much leaner part of the pig. Now I'd be lying if I said I actually knew much about Puerto Rican food, or what to expect. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and quickly told to sit where we pleased. I didn't catch our servers name, but he was extremely helpful and recommended our drinks as well as some of the items on the menu. While checking out all the pictures of their food on Yelp, I kept seeing the Cod Fritter pop up! I told him I definitely wanted to try that, probably the best thing I had. We also had Carne Frita, Carne Pernil and a pair of empanadas, one meat and the other cheese. Everything we had was delicious. But their arroz con gandules made everything better. We can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu...

I ordered three types of corn dogs; The Seoul Classic Dog, Spicy Dog, and Two Hands Dog. The Seoul Classic Dog was delightfully crispy covered in the right amount of sugar to balance the savory batter. The hot dog itself wasn't memorable and felt like it didn't really contribute to the overall to the construction of the corn dog. The meat itself felt like that person in a group project who doesn't really do the work but still gets shared credit with the group. The Spicy Dog featured a subtle heat that also had a spicy sausage however the two spicy elements together made it very one note and monotonous. The Two Hands Dog was carried by the ranch sauce. However the ranch compromised the crispiness of the corn dog. If the creaminess from the ranch could've could've somehow maintained the crispiness of the batter, it would've been a much higher score. Overall, it's not a bad place. It's a fun experience trying a Korean corn dog but I probably won't go out of my way to order this again.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

The gentleman practically went over the entire menu with us which was much appreciated . We were constantly checked on and felt really welcomed. My friend got a coffee and said it was very good . We also tried the lulo and Maracuya juice . I highly recommend the lulo if you enjoy tart and sweet ( the maracuya was a bit too sweet for my liking ). We started off with the empanada sampler and Marcilla au gratin . Not big fans of the marcilla - way too much dairy . The sausage itself was good, but wouldn't get it again . Our favorite empanada was the calentao followed by the brisket. The chicken was just ok. We both agreed that our main course, the sancocho de costilla was yummy . If you're looking for a hearty soup that feels like a nice warm hug, I'd highly recommend . Overall, worth checking out . I'd come back to try other dishes and grab something from the bakery .
