El Wagyu is about an hour away from me and I still have managed to make that drive twice now! This is definitely one of the best burgers I've tried to date. The Parmesan fries with*** queso on the side is a must try. I don't typically eat queso but it is soooo delicious here. We brought my brother along with us on the second go around and he wanted to go again the next day! Service is great and very transparent with wait times if it's busy. They give you a little buzzer that you can take with you in the car while you wait too!

Great food i discovered on social media! It is great to support small business owners. It can be a long wait ( 30 mins) but it is worth it!

Original burger with all the fixings plus bacon

We decided to drive and check out this place because of the pipe it was receiving. It's about 45 minutes away from where we live as expected. It was a food truck and it's hot in Texas right now so we caught up eating in our car. the service was excellent price was I'd say $$ to $$$, expected just due to the nature of it being a Wagyu burger. My husband got the original double burger and thought it was very good. He was glad that he got the two patties because they are Smashburger so they run a little thin. He raided the burger and ate on his scale. I got the sweet and spicy burger just one patty. I'd say this one was OK. I probably skipped the sauce next time. It was kind of a spicy sauce with a Mexican vibe, and I felt it overpowered the burger itself. We both enjoyed the fries.

These burgers are worth the price and wait. Yessssss. We've been here months back and just got back today again and they've added some tents over the ordering area which is really nice for rain. People will still wait in the rain for this but it's better with the tenting. They also added some picnic tables which is A+ also. The burgers are smooth like butter almost. Very tasty. They don't have lettuce and tomato's but who needs it with the meat like this?!!! We'll be back time and time again for burgers.

Sweet and spicy burger with Parmesan fries and the white queso.

Food was great, fresh and hot! We will definitely be back again! Paired up great with a fresh lemonade from the next truck!

Was a little distance to drive. But the staff is friendly. The food is tasty. Do you recommend not going when it's very hot

Here's a polished review based on your Facebook post:…read more Smoak Town BBQ is everything that makes Texas barbecue special. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was something different. Even on a 100-degree day, the covered seating area with cooling fans was full of locals who couldn't stop talking about the great barbecue here. Smoak Town isn't just serving incredible food; it's built on family, hard work, faith, and a genuine love for barbecue. One of the highlights of my visit was spending time talking with Rob, the pitmaster's father, and hearing the story of how Cameron turned a passion for backyard barbecue into an award-winning business after success on the competition circuit...and encouragement from dad. The food was outstanding across the board. The brisket was perfectly smoked and so tender it fell apart with a fork. The beer-basted turkey was unbelievably moist, the pork belly burnt ends were meaty and flavorful, and the jalapeño-cheese sausage had just the right amount of kick. The brisket baked beans were some of the best I've had anywhere. What really set Smoak Town apart, though, was the hospitality. After I got home, I received a personalized text thanking me for stopping by and letting me know I was welcome back anytime--as family. That simple gesture perfectly captured what Texas barbecue is all about. If you're looking for authentic Texas barbecue that's served with heart, Smoak Town BBQ absolutely deserves a spot on your must-visit list. Great food, great people, and true Texas hospitality. I'll definitely be back.

The Texas barbecue hunt will take you anywhere. A food truck park in Fate, Texas was my next stop…read moreto try Smoak Town. I had a chance last October while I was in Rockwall for a wedding to try it, but because the wedding was a top priority (whatever!!!), it didn't happen. Yesterday was my chance. Inside this food park was a vast sea of options, but my eyes were set on the back left where Smoak Town laid. They have a huge tent with plenty of tables to sit at under the shade and the space is wrapped in their wood, giving the joint an oak log fence around the food truck. By the time I got there a little past 1:30, they were out of sausage and mac and cheese. Sad! Other than that, my order was simple: brisket, pork ribs, pork belly burnt ends, and a side of their brew brisket beans. The brisket was a thick slice that was moist and flavorful. I love those chunky slabs of brisket. There is just something about a thicker cut that knocks skinnier cuts out of the park. The pork ribs were juicy and tender. I rarely get pork belly burnt ends over a sausage, but they are always a treat like they were here. Just a little taste of heaven. The beans were savory, hearty, and well seasoned. I was pretty impressed by them as well. The team working was super conversational and friendly. The guy in front of me was having his first taste of Texas barbecue, and they were being super helpful making sure he got a true, flavorful experience. This spot feels hidden but is worth the trip. There were quite a few people hanging around enjoying the excellent barbecue. Worth the pit stop and worth the drive if you live anywhere in the DFW metro. It was simply fate (GET IT???) to try Smoak Town. RIYL: The quieter barbecue spots that pack the same punch
