It's not that I didn't care for the food., I'm not really into paying so much for a meal consisting of burgers and fries. The service was good and I have no complaints about the service. They have the option for a veggie burger!!! As a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find vegetarian options so when my aunt (who lives in the area) wanted to come here for dinner, I needed to verify that they had at least one vegetarian friendly option available for me. To my delight, I found out that you can substitute the meat in any burger for a black bean patty! They have at least 8 or more burger options on their menu, so this meant I had plenty of options to choose from. They also have a Caesar salad and quesadilla (listed in the appetizer section) that are available without meat. Spent $75 on lunch and it was very disappointing. My Mike Buger and onion rings were COLD! Barely edible. Charged me $3 for a soufflé cup worth of Cole slaw and it took 30 minutes to receive my cold meal. However, the fried pickles were delicious and served hot. I doubt I will ever come back. read more

If you like flavorless food, this might be the restaurant for you! I got the jalapeño burger and was disappointed by it. There didn't seem to be any sauce on the burger and no seasoning on the meat. The bun was also disappointing. It was a sad, soggy-feeling bun. We also tried the cheese fries, which are one of their popular items. Nothing too exciting about it. I wish the fries were crispy. They should also have used a meltier cheese for this dish as well. All the fries were kind of just clumped up and stuck together. Lots of sitting inside. This was my second time dining here in a month. The first visit I had the fried pickles which were delicious. I also had the onion rings which were good and the Dr. Pepper wings which were very disappointing (minus a star). I also had the Deep Eddy Limeade which was great. Tonight I had the Hickory BBQ Cheeseburger with pepper jack. It was a good burger. I also had the hand cut fries which were disappointing as they didn't seem fresh. They weren't even warm when they came out (minus a star). The Dos Equis Michelada was one of the best I've had. Ended up drinking two !!! read more

Walked into the restaurant and nobody was on the floor. Waited to ask if we could sit on the patio with our dogs, we were told yes and someone would be out there to get our drink order. Fifteen minutes passed and still no one came outside. I walked back inside to the bar, told the bartender we were out there and we'd like a couple of waters. She said she'd send someone out. Nobody ever showed up so we left. Please take note that the food menu itself has gotten pretty sparse so in my mind unless you're there to drink it's not worth the time. read more

I like this place! I started going after it first opened and met the most incredible people there. The food is consistently good and fresh. The drinks are great and the bar staff have always been responsive and creative- if you ask them to be! Many of the people who worked there have gone on to great things. We waited 16 minutes for a drink. it was 3:15 on a Sunday afternoon and the wait staff was vacant. We switched tables because the table was dirty. it was never cleaned after we switched. Waitress took drink order and bar tender had to come tell us why the Rose wasn't put in. Poor service, dirty restroom and the place felt unkept. we had to ask for silverware and napkins. Total wished I'd not come back here! Walked in the door and seen 3 tables and No one at the bar... Zero people and minimal waitstaff. I received my 3 Slider Basket with Onion Fries and they didn't have Tabasco or any hot sauce to doctor the runny Ranch for the onion fries, I had to settle for Buffalo Sauce. All the poppy seed Buns were dry and the burgers inside we're way overcooked, looking more like retired Hockey Pucks! Best part of the meal was the sweet tea and lemon! By the time I finished this review, they were down to 4 customers in the whole restaurant! My wife and I were on our way to Hot Springs to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with her family and we needed to stop for a late lunch on the way. My wife said she was in the mood for a burger and fries. Since we were on the outskirts of Greenville, it seemed like the perfect place to stop. Yelp to the rescue to see what our options were. A big smile came across my face when I saw that a Snuffer's was just ahead. I hadn't been to Snuffer's in several decades when I used to frequent the original location on Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas. We arrived after the lunch rush so we almost had the whole place to ourselves. My wife ordered the regular hamburger and fries and I ordered my favorite burger, a bleu cheese bacon burger plus an order of fries. After a short wait, our awesome server brought out burgers and fries to our table. After one bite my wife smiled REAL big so I knew I had made a good choice by stopping at Snuffers. My bleu cheese bacon burger was incredible as well. The home-cut French fries were cooked to perfection and were not greasy at all. Overall we had a great experience at Snuffer's, felt recharged and ready to head on to Hot Springs. Ordered a shake for my birthday coupon and never got my shake. Ordered the new pretzel burger for octoberfest 2019, took about 30 minutes to come out and their was only 4 groups in the whole restaurant at noon. HOME RUN! This place is ridiculously good. We've eaten the cheese fries and quesadillas here for years and they are the best by far of almost any restaurant at which we've eaten. We started out with the ultimate appetizer - the cheese fries!!! A scrumptious pile of fries covered in melted cheddar and homemade ranch dressing. The ranch dressing might be the best on the planet by the way. Today I had the marinated grilled chicken and steamed veggies. Wow it was dynamite!! I thought the grilled chicken was good but the marinated was killer! My wife had the marinated grilled chicken quesadillas and she said they were very good as well. We ran out of chips and salsa, no one paid attention. Our table had an empty ketchup up bottle, which took 12 min to replace. Food came before our chips and salsa were ever refilled. Our waitress was Inattentive to our needs. We sat ourselves (3 kids with us) and we had to ask for a kids menu. Food was great, but service?? Thumbs down. FYI - we've eaten at other locations and loved our experience. Maybe it's because we are a multiracial family? Sure didn't feel comfortable. Not sure about the other reviews. But stayed at the Hampton and went over to Snuffer's for dinner. Service was great, my wife's burger was delicious, juicy and cooked perfect to a medium rare. It's been a while since I've patronized a Snuffers restaurant. Used to enjoy beer and cheese fries with friends. Visited this one with my granddaughter and a friend. Neither one had ever been to Snuffers so I took them for the experience. My granddaughter had the hamburger with the Dr Pepper barbecue sauce after it was highly recommended by the very friendly waitress. My friend had breaded steak strips with onion rings and I had a hot dog with fries. We shared an order of cheddar fries. The food is still very good. The onion rings were hand-battered. The Dr Pepper barbecue sauce was delicious. My hot dog was something to write home about. Not a typical hot dog. It was great. Our waitress was ver friendly and very helpful with menu items. My granddaughter kept checking out the drink menu and saw some she wanted to try. We plan on making another trip just for drinks. read more

I love Snuffer's. The manager is awesome. The bartender today was VERY rude! I went to the bar to get my "Birthday Shake". I asked if I could get that to go. She never said a word. Just walked away. The manager came over, told me "happy birthday" and what flavor would I like. 5 minutes later she brings the shake and sets it down in front of me. She never said "here ya go" or "have a nice day"...she never said a word... Terrible customer service! read more
