Manger here is extremely rude and no help at all. Went here today 4/30/26 and my order was messed up. Instead of helping I was ignored for about 20 mins while my food got cold. FYI not the first time I been treated like this. Tried to give em a chance n this was the final straw so bad as to where I felt I needed to leave a review. I was hungry for anything so I drove across the street to try them out for the first time. Even when I'm hungry, i can tell if the food is good or not. I got their Texas Bbq burger with fry and a drink and it was like a little piece of heaven. I enjoyed how juicy the burger patty was. It had just enough onions that it hit my onion craving as well. Their fry was alright, some were extra crispy some were a bit floppy. I still ate half my fries since I ate the burger so quickly. This burger made my trip a bit better. Cheesy, but it's true. Leaving them at 3 Stars. It was way less crowded today compared to last time but it was about 1:30 PM when three coworkers and I stopped in. I got the Texas BBQ Burger as I did last time, and I added pickles. It was way better tasting today than the last time. I chose tater tots as last time the fries were blah and cold. Well this time the tots were hot, but they were way over cooked and they tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Maybe next time I'll just order the burger !!! Out visiting the local college with my son, and looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. We stumbled on this place so we decided to give it a try. Nice and quiet little place with an excellent burger. I had the mushroom swiss and my son had a double cheeseburger. I have to say both were excellent! Very nice and friendly staff! My friend & I decided to order some burgers from Lulu's last Wednesday night, Feb. 21, 2024. I was very impressed!!! The burgers were a nice size. They weren't huge, but they weren't tiny either!!! You could tell that the meat was hand shaped. They were fresh and hot!!! And the meat was real beef!!! My friend got a meal which ran around $12.00. I took advantage of the buy one burger get one burger free deal. I ordered the bacon cheese burger minus the cheese. It cost a lil under $8.00. It was delicious!!! And so were the onions rings that I ordered. They were $3.99, and they filled half my box with them, and the other half held my 2 burgers!!! I ended up spending a lil under 12 bucks, total!!! I was very PLEASED with my food. Every bit of it was delicious, and the bacon was NOT all burnt up!!! A lot of times, burger places will burn up your bacon, or make it hard and crunchy!!! Pit stopped in on our way through Commerce. The food was above average for a home town fast food establishment. Steak fingers, etc. are the frozen kind. Fries seem to be fresh cut potatoes. I can't attest to the inside service, but the drive through service was great. It took a few minutes but freshly cooked burgers do! I can't say it was the best burger I ever had, but it was good and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. My worst criticism is that the bun was too much breading. It takes away from the taste of the meat. I believe that Lulu's burgers are the best in town! Now order 2 or more on a Wednesday night and one of those awesome burgers are free! Freshly made patties are not frozen and are made from scratch when you order it. Try the jalapeño bacon BBQ, With onion rings, potato fries, sweet potato fries or French fries. I do not care for the fries which is why I go with the burger. Iff your looking for something in the lighter side opt for their Avocado chicken salad.they start with a bed of fresh cut romaine lettuce before adding a small amount of grilled chicken before adding tomatoes, onion and upon request, bacon. The double mushroom swiss burger and french fries are ON POINT!!! The buns are buttered up and toasted well yet retain it softness, which I greatly enjoyed. The patties are so moist and tender they practically fall apart once you bite into the burger. The swiss cheese and mushrooms are there to add in succulent and smoky flavor into the whole entree. The french fries are so tender and fresh! Most of the fries are somewhat limp, but tender and flavorful! It's to be expected when you have old-school russet potatoes fresh into the fryer. The skins are left on which is a good asset to a flavorful and nutritious fries. Earthy, somewhat greasy, and teeming with the old-school flavor! The drink? Honestly. I was expecting a strawberry milkshake, which is unavailable due to milk shortage. Understandable and doesn't detract a star off this review. The sweet tea is on point! The food is usually always good but they need help. We recently moved to Commerce and didn't want fast food. We were told by locals that this was the place for the best burgers in town. They weren't wrong. If you're craving something like Five Guys, this is the place. The service is always fairly fast although not always friendly. When the university is on break, the service here seems to drop off. Some of the employees can be intimidating through their demeanor and driving in the parking lot. They are often out of menu items. The exterior & interior of the building needs work and a good cleaning. Again, since locals recommended and raved about LuLu's, we were expecting more. Maybe they have recently changed ownership or management. We have been a handful of times in the last 6 months and it's been hit or miss. read more

Went to Lulu's burgers for dinner. This is a local institution among the college students at A&M commerce. Lulu's is a traditional burger place where you order your food at the counter and they give you a number to put on the table. Shortly after getting your fountain drink and choosing a table, they bring it out to you and collect the number. You can enjoy the classic rock played over the sound system while you wait. You gotta have classic rock with a burger, right? I tried the new "Ghost burger" with onion rings and a diet Dr. pepper. The ghost burger is a hamburger with pepper jack cheese and grilled habenero peppers, mayo, lettuce, pickles and onions. The onion rings are thick and crispy. The burger was made hot and fresh. It was VERY spicy, as you might expect. You can also upgrade your burger to a 1/2 pound burger for .99. And if you are feeling like getting your Neanderthal on, you can do the Lulu's challenge: It's a 4 meat patty burger for a grand total of 2 pounds and comes with a large plate of fries. If you finish it, you get your picture on the wall of fame. But beware- if you don't finish it, you get your picture on the wall if shame! Burger, onion rings and fountain drink was 9.72. Best homemade burger I've had in awhile! I knew by the building it would be lit. I wasn't disappointed at all

Was looking for a good burger place passing thru Commerce. Found Lulus on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer and they were pretty good. Burgers came out and my husband made the comment that should have been our order as they came in after us. Customer took the tray to the service counter and let them know it was not their order. They took the tray, handed back to the kitchen and then brought to us. I asked if was the same food given to the other table as we had watched them look inside the burger to find out it was not their order. Waitress said yes but she had switched out the fries. We asked if they could make fresh bc we had watched the other table handle the food checking to see if it was prepared as they requested. She said they would, but as we sat there we really doubted based on what we had just witnessed. We decided to request our money back and left. Burgers looked good but decided not to give it try based on experience with the food mixup and is my reason for the low review. On a side note there were on about 3 tables of customers so they were not busy - 2:00 on Sunday. read more

Lulu's burgers are great! They are big, so make sure you come hungry. The menu offers more than just burgers if you are coming with a picky group. The service is fast and the fries are decent. On Wednesdays they do buy-one-get-one-free burgers, so that's the time to go. However, it gets packed, so be prepared to wait in line for a while. read more

I went to Lulu's tonite for dinner about 8ish. I got 2 Philly cheese steaks 1 with no mayo the other with no onions. I also got the ghost burger chicken nuggets and a bacon cheeseburger. When I got my food everything had extra onions and extra mayo. The food was nasty. The girls that were working tonite was rude. The worst 55 dollars I have spent. I do not recommend. read more
