We make an annual trip on Memorial Day and this is a perfect stop for us for breakfast just as it was last year. From the outside it looks like a converted Pizza Hut building and appears small. Don't let that fool you. It's spacious and cute inside. Jennifer, our wait person, was prompt, friendly, and efficient. My husband again got his traditional breakfast and loved it. I had their Berry Oatmeal & Granola. The steel cut oatmeal was a little on the watery side for me, since I like my oatmeal thick, but fruit and granola were delicious. We were happy with our meal. Ate here on Friday, October 25 around 11:30 AM. We were able to grab a seat quickly, but the place was 90% full. Our orders were taken quickly and drinks were served to us promptly. I ordered the Montecristo and it did not disappoint. If you remember Bennigan's back in the day, this is that same Monte Cristo sandwich. It was extraordinarily awesome! However, I am picky about the crisp on hasbrowns, so don't take that as a complaint. I loved the warm syrup. Off a busy street in the middle of Greenville is a bustling cafe. The parking it tight, but everyone seemed perfectly slotted in, a sign they are regulars unlike this out of towner. I was promptly sat down at 11am, half the crowd finishing brekki, the owner mother half working on lunch. The place is clean, neatly packed and had a lot of character. Chair and table were sturdy and comfy. My server appeared promptly and I'll ordered coffee and corned beef hash with eggs over easy, hash browns and a pancake. Coffee promptly delivered (it wasn't steaming hot), then came the meal soon after. It was hash from the can thrown on flat top, it was ok. Hash browns and eggs done the way I like them and the pancake was very good. All in it was under $15, didn't blow me away but it was decent...value for money??? A little over priced. It is obviously a very popular place, the food was decent and the crowd was heavy. HOWEVER, it is probably the NOISIEST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN IN! It is an old Pizza Hut, converted to a local restaurant. The floors are tile, the chairs are wood, the tables are formica and there are lots of people talking and dealing with the noise. That just amplified the sounds, and it was very uncomfortable having to try to talk louder to the person across from me and not able to hear them.
