The owner told me they redid their rib recipe, and lemme tell you what. They knocked it OUT OF THE PARK!!! Was feeling peckish for some bbq, and a nearby gas station clerk recommended this place. I stopped by, and was immediately greeted and provided with the menu and my drink. Ordered a rack of ribs, with charro beans and onion rings. Rings were solid, and the beans had a great flavor with the perfect amount of seasoning, great texture, and overall were highly satisfying. The ribs get an 11/10. Nice smoke ring, tasty seasoning on the outside, and fall off the bone tender. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. read more

This facility has two large buildings connected by an outside patio area. I ordered to go and had the two meat platter with brisket and ribs with sides. The portions were 4 star as well as the taste. It's out of the way from where I live so I wouldn't make a special trip for another visit but if I was in the area I would defiantly return. This place is fabulous! We visited last weekend and were very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. We ordered a few appetizers, the bacon wrapped jalapeños and chips and salsa, then had a steak and baked potato for dinner. Everything was AMAZING! The service was top notch and the live music was such a nice touch on a Friday evening. We can't wait until the weather is a little nicer to enjoy their huge outdoor dining space. Stayed in rv Park next door. It gets a 3. All worth it for the Tin Cup next door. Fantastic ribs and brisket. A very little dry but flavor was so good you didn't need the sauce. Not having to put sauce on brisket is a real testament to good bbq. Staff was short staffed but did a great job. The live music was wonderful. Could have been listening to Cat Stephens and wouldn't have known the difference. Won't stay in rv Park again but will make a stop at Tin Cup on our return. read more

My first visit on 12/3/2021. I had the one meat plate with smoked brisket. It was some of the best brisket I've ever eaten. Moist but not fatty and very tender. The macaroni is not traditional cheese and was very good as well. I had fried pickles as an appetizer. The cornmeal needs some spices as they were bland. I've had better elsewhere. If you like 70's & 80's rock music, the selection was freakin awesome. We were jamming! Don't know if the music is the same every night. Our hostess was very attentive and helpful. Everything food wise here is great. Especially for the price and atmosphere. The employees are nice as long as you are. You can't go wrong with anything you order. Jalepeno poppers with a loaded brisket baked potato is my go to. You can taste that it's smoked. My recommendation is going to Hartlines to play golf and order it over there. They will bring it to you. Just don't be a prick, make sure you tip good if you do so. If you don't like golf, the vibe is better at the restaurant. read more

We with a fairly large group of people (10 adults). The drinks were good, decent liquor selection for the area. I ordered a 2 meat plate with Brisket and Ribs with a side of fries and Mac and cheese. The ribs were good but the brisket looked and tasted like it had sat for a day or two. It was VERY dry. One person in our group asked if they could get a fresh plate and the waitress said "let me get you some pieces of the fresh brisket". Why they even serve old brisket if they had fresh brisket available? I would recommend ensuring that the food you order is made fresh. We were greeted promptly and ordered drinks. The appetizer chips & queso was pretty good. The wait time for the food was a little long, but there was probably only one cook. Understandable. My wife and I got our entrees, but my daughter's grilled cheese took an additional 10 minutes at least. Our waitress said the flat iron wasn't working correctly. Slightly annoying, but understandable. Not in their control necessarily. We finish, pay, and leave. We thought the pricing was fair, atmosphere was nice, and food was ok depending on what it was. I had the 2 meat plate with sliced brisket & sausage. The brisket was very dry, and was about 1/3 fat. Decent flavor. Sausage & sides were good. My wife had the brisket potato. Definitely not a fan. I also ordered a margarita, which was lackluster, but it was cheap. We pay, leave, and intended to come back. Not a bad experience, but some annoyances for sure. A few weeks later, we come back with my parents. This is where things went off the rails. We arrive, are quickly seated, and start looking at the menu. Again, very empty when we arrived, but there were a few at the bar. After sitting down, I noticed there were two different menus, with two different prices. The cheaper one was what we had last time, the more expensive one was new. Everything was 3,4,5 dollars higher than the other menu. We had 1 expensive menu, and 3 cheap menus. Strange. I ordered the same 2 meat plate once again, in hopes that the brisket would be better and less fatty. It wasn't. Still very dry and very fatty. My wife got the wrap, and said it was good. My mom had the meatloaf, which looked like a cowpie (not joking). My dad had the same 2 meat plate with different sides. Again, same case with the meat. And wouldn't you know it, my daughter's mac & cheese is late once again. No reason this time other than that "I'm rushing him to get it out" - Our waitress. 10-15 minutes late once again. We get the bill, and it's not split for 2 parties. She never asked, but we never said anything. I can take ownership of that. We asked her to split, and she did. However, there were new strange "fees" added to the bottom of our receipt. The original single ticket had 3 fees listed at the bottom. 2.36%, 1.00%, and 3.29% (Amex). How did they know I was paying with an amex? Well, I did anyways since they charged me the fees, and I'll get 3x points for it anyways. All in all, it was just shy of $3 added to split our bills BEFORE TAX. I never saw any disclaimer or notice about this on the receipt, or menu. That seems extremely shady. It was also my parents second visit, and they had a very similar 1st experience as well. I now understand why nobody is ever here. Also why the business is up for sale (a quick search found that). We unfortunately won't be going back. Slow, shady, food is subpar at best. Full disclosure: I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses. I actually work for 2 of them myself. However, it seems slightly misleading that this place has a 4.5 star rating at the time of this review. read more

Very disheartening and disappointed experience here. We were refused service due to our service dogs. After explaining to the manager and owner that you're only allowed to ask if they're service animals and what services they provide the owner stated she refused to serve us. After gathering our things to leave while walking inside a local patron stated he would shoot our dogs if it came to it. The ignorance is unbelievable. After traveling for ten hours all my boyfriend and I (who is a veteran and the reason he has a service dog) wanted to do was enjoy a nice dinner and support a local business. read more

I wont be going back. I was one of the regulars and am no longer. The owners are determined to take a great community and good restaurant and destroy it. I spent at least $400 a week, every week at the tin cup and now they can just kiss my arse. Almost all the regulars have had enough and have left for greener pastures. This restaurant is right next to the RV Park we are at! Decided to give them a try tonight...turned out to be a great idea! Large servings and really reasonable prices! My ribs were absolutely delicious as was the fried okra and potato salad. My husband felt the same about his brisket and onion rings! Great place...good people! 10 miles past Greeneville at Exit 101!
