The parking lot was like what I remembered but inside was a different layout so I am not sure if it was the same spot. Anyway, prices were very reasonable! When the food came out, we could immediately see it passed the eye test--cheese drizzling, real meat, grilled bun. First bite was excellent--I could taste the grilled bun, the flavor of the burger and even the crisped grilled parts of the meat. All other bites, just the same. Had me audibly saying "yum". On top of that, they offered horchata to drink and it was delicious. The fries weren't only well seasoned but they also had an usual kick of heat. This will be my go-to burger spot when I'm in the Garland area. Thanks for being great and charging fairly!

Spoke with someone named Clay at their 972-475-1700 location in Rowlett. Ordered delivery since they said that they did delivery. Not only were their prices higher than listed on their website, they said it would take only about 30 minutes. Over an hour and 10 minutes later, the driver still hadn't shown up and the guy on the phone didn't seem to know what was going on. Didn't even bother to call the driver when I asked about them being 15 minutes late. Terrible service, extremely inefficient. Let me be clear, Clay did nothing wrong. The driver (whose name is GIOVANI but he goes by GIO according to Clay) is clearly not doing his job. I know it's hard being a delivery driver, and I know you can get a little lost or caught up and be 5, 10 or even 15 minutes late, but come on! FORTY MINUTES LATE? Really?! That guy was not even trying. I was less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant and the order took less than 15 minutes to make. They clearly do not want anyone's business because they don't hire anyone competent or well-trained. :/ read more

Fabulous chicken sandwich The first time I visited the place was with some apprehension, we were welcomed friendly by a young lady, who quickly took our order, and informed us to be patient. We got our order in 5 minutes on our table. A delicious large burger with a bun that was firm and very tasty. Burger island is awesome with its juicy burger and fries. My friend and I had the jungle chicken Burger which has embedded in it mushrooms, onions, jalapenos and other stuff and I could not finish it all. They also make a very good Philly sub as well as excellent grilled chicken sandwich. Definitely a place to go back to. read more

Burger Island has always been a favorite of mine, and every time I go I still get a little excited because of how big the burgers are! I would rate a 5/5 but the prices for the burgers could be a little cheaper in my opinion, but I guess meat isn't that cheap so the price may be justified! I would recommend eating here if you plan on getting into a food coma lol read more

If I want a burger this is where I go. Amazingly good burgers of all types. I've tried them all. I think I settled on the guacamole cheeseburger as my favorite though. Sounds weird but it's really good. Their fries are also awesome and they give you a ton of them. After eating here I can't even look at a McDonalds burger or any other fast food place. read more

I got the sweet potato waffle fries which were a little thinner than I'm used to but I actually preferred it that way cuz they weren't soggy and had a little crispiness to the edges. The drinks come in a plastic cup that you can take home with you which I love. So overall very good and pleasantly surprised first visit. Only complaints were that, again, the burgers were a little overcooked and I'll order medium next time and it was a little pricey... $70 for the four of us getting combos.
