Before I went, about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I hadn't been since I was a kid. Going back was nostalgic. I got a basic burger and fries, which was around 8 bucks. The burger was everything that I remembered. It's probably the best burger from a place with a drive thru that I've ever had. The fries were so mid that the next time I go, I'll probably just get fries from McDonalds, if I feel the desire. It's not a place that you go to when you're in a hurry. **Mayo Warning- Here it is more akin to a miracle whip than a restaurant heavy mayo. Its sweet and tangy, im a mayo lover but didn't like this. The burger was fine, tastes similar to whataburger. The only bad thing I have to say about the place is that someone needs to stay washing the tables and keep the floor clean, I understand your busy and we know why but please keep you place clean, keep someone on it. 3.6 star rating due to me having to clean my table and the 3 others I seen that had to clean theirs as well. The burgers, fries and prices are 5 star for a fast food hamburger joint. Fries are thin and not soggy and the burgers come with shredded lettuce. Service is usually 3 star for attitude But they have never gotten my order wrong so that counts for something!! I wish they had more DFW locations. So much so, I expected Brad Hamilton to be working the grill ("what's the secret sauce at All-American burger? Thousand island dressing. What's the secret sauce at Bronco Burger? Ketchup and mayonnaise.") We ordered 3 cheeseburgers, one chili cheeseburger, 2 fries, one tater tot, one onion ring...and waited for the splendor. We divvied up the treasure and took our first bites. I was disappointed. Stiff bun, lack of flavor in the patty. I could see disappointment in the boys faces as well. "What do you guys think?" The food is fast and cheap, and I have to admit it's much better than I expected. The burgers are essentially a clone of Whataburger. But I'm okay with that because I happen to like Whataburger. The patties are super thin, but even the double burger combo meal here is less than $10. I have been coming to this restaurant often on since I was a kid. The quality of service today, though was terrible. They got my order wrong, which they corrected for the most part. After giving me my food I asked where my 44 ounce sprite with no ice wise, and was told I didn't order a drink. I asked for the receipt because I need it for accounting. This was purchased for my employees, was told that the receipt was in the bag. Received the wrong receipt in the bag. They gave me my drink which was almost completely ice with a splash of sprite in it. I'd like the store manager contact me if you want this negative review. Not gonna lie, it's hard to give this place 4 stars! But I just can't give it 3 either... 3 1/2 is what I believe it deserves. With that said, it beats out most all other fast food garbage out there! When you want a fresh made hot greasy burger, come pick one up. I can tell you it's a pretty tasty burger and their onion rings are also pretty good. The burgers are good. They are similar to those at What-a-burger. They need to clean the drive thru window area because it is VERY unappetizing. But, if you can get past that or go inside, you'll like the burgers and fries. I also like the onion rings. They have Coke products. If you drink diet, they only have Diet Coke available. I wish they would get Diet Dr. Pepper, but I am resigned to the fact that there's probably no chance of that. If they clean up a bit, I'd be thrilled to increase the number of stars. So for national hamburger day, I went to an old staple in Garland that has stood there since I was a teenager. Griff's Hamburgers off Jupiter and Buckingham in the Home Depot parking lot. Just had an amazingly large double cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños, fries and a root beer float. All for $8.43. I'm stuffed and it was absolutely delicious. I've been wanting to try this place for a while people say they have the best burgers so I finally went and let the worker talk me into getting a chicken sandwhich which was ok but if rather have a chik fila or Popeyes chicken sandwich over griffs.
