We knew we were in for a great night at Creekside Fine Grill when we sat down and saw the room filled with a mix of families, couples, and regulars who clearly knew this place well. There is a certain energy in a restaurant when people trust it, and Creekside has that. We started with the crab and shrimp dip, which came out hot, creamy, and loaded with flavor. It is one of those appetizers that everyone at the table keeps going back to without even thinking about it. For dinner, we ordered the Red Snapper Alexander and the chicken cutlet parmesan, and this is where the night really took off. The red snapper was cooked perfectly, topped with sautéed shrimp in a white wine sauce that added flavor without overwhelming the fish. The balance was impressive, and the presentation matched what you would expect from a much higher priced restaurant. Then there was the chicken parmesan. As Italians, we do not say this lightly, but this dish stood out in a big way. Creekside blends Alfredo and marinara into a creamy, well-balanced sauce that takes a classic and elevates it. The chicken was lightly breaded, the mozzarella was fresh, and every bite delivered. We awarded this dish our Best of the Best for Chicken Parmesan, and that is something we reserve for dishes that truly separate themselves from the rest. Service was excellent throughout the night. Our server Erin was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped guide us to some great choices. One small note, the fish and chips did not quite match the level we had experienced on a previous visit. It was still good, just not at the same level we had come to expect. That said, it did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal. If you are looking for a place that delivers an upscale feel without the upscale price tag, this is it. I was surprisingly impressed that this type of restaurant exists in our area. I didn't have to travel far to enjoy a nice meal. The bar seating was plentiful I have to applaud the bartender for letting me try a wine first before deciding on it. The ambiance is very upscale but the menu is very affordable. Dinner for 4 adults, 1 toddler & 1 infant. 1 adult and Toddler dairy intolerant. Appetizer: Deviled eggs - looked pretty and all were eaten so that was probably a win. Coctail: Mocktail - non alcoholic drink in a mule cup. Was very much liked. Dinners: Sauccetti Pasta - was pretty and all was eaten. No judgement made as to tase or if they would get again. Rueben Sandwich w/home made coleslaw- not impressive in the least. Lower bread was soggy. (Suggests either the corn beef was prescliced and served from a ready bin or the sauerkraut was not drained. Since the meat is bottom it looks like not great corned beef. Taste was not good. Love this sandwich when done correctly as the flavors are such a great classic complement to the entire dish. This was bitter and a bit off tasting. The meat was not "bad" but also wasn't good. Would never recommend this to anyone. Coleslaw was not remarkable but certainly edible. Would not order again. Should also have been served better drained and not in a slurry. This is the south and we know how to present coleslaw. Hawaiian Chicken w/ Steamed Broccoli and Southern Cole Slaw. - so already addressed the coleslaw. The broccoli was in fact a hit and really enjoyed. The Hawaiian chicken while flavorful was very overcooked and tough. The rice was just rice. It helped distribute the taste of the pineapple salsa and Hawaiian sauce. Did not elevate the meal. (Chicken was served over rice). The pineapple and mixed covering hid the seriousness of the chicken breast overcooked. Revised: Might reorder if we ever return but would send back if badly overcooked and dry. Classic cheeseburger/ no cheese with sweet potato fries. - Fries were limp but not overly salty. Flavor ok but needed to be crispier. The burger on the other hand was overcooked and not a high quality of meat. It was not moist and though the bun was good the burger looked great but disappointed when it came to taste. Kids Meal for milk intolerant: Kids Pasta sautéed in olive oil and garlic no butter with added grilled chicken. This came out beautiful and the pasta was like by all who tasted it. The chicken was unlike the Hawaiian chicken not overdone and it cut nicely and was not over seasoned. Taste was good. They added a piece of toasted bread without butter. We WOULD reorder the kids meal. Desert: Key Lime Pie. Presentation was pretty and high expectations but taste was a disappointment. This was a rather generic cheesecake that while fairly fresh, did not resemble key lime pie except for the thin slice of lime garnish. Very almost unnoticeable lime flavor. Sad. Coffee: A really hidden joy. It was hot, fresh and flavorful. Service: Our server was kind and courteous but they were busy and probably he was over tasked. Could be due to kitchen management. Not sure. We would have stayed and ordered a different desert and another coffee but they needed the table. Even after the server was embarrassed for making us feel like we needed to leave (we had paid the bill) It is a shame we couldn't stay and enjoy the coffee. We were there yesterday to meet a friend we had not seen for 3 years! We were sat quickly upon arriving at 1:30pm. Narcisa was our server and she was fantastic. There was so much to talk about and catch up on and Creekside provided the perfect environment to do this! Thank you Narcisa for your patience as we talked and laughed and kept forgetting to order. After being opened over a year my wife and I finally decided to try Creekside. The first thing we noticed as we walked in was how professional and uniform everyone looked. You could easily tell who was a host/hostess, waiter, or server. The atmosphere was very elegant. I liked the noise level, not too quiet where you were afraid to speak too loud, but not too loud where you couldn't hear your party. The music the perfect level. Our waiter helped us pick our first meal. He was patient and attentive. Overall, the service and restaurant was outstanding. We ordered the triple dipper which included queso, spinich dip, and salsa. The spinich dip was the only thing that was a bit of a let down. I had to add a bit of salt and salsa to add flavor. I had a ruben sandwich. Only two complaints: the corned beef was extremely hot (not warm) and there wasn't a lot of sauerkraut. My wife had a burger. When I say it was large I mean half a pound! The meat tasted of high quality (from what we could tell) and cooked perfectly. Fries were above average on how they tasted. The evening ended with a "piece" of key lime pie. No, this wasn't a piece, it was an entire quarter of the pie! Plenty for two people (if not three). I appreciated how attentive everyone was. We had our drinks refilled by other wait staff, food and dessert both came from different staff members that made us feel just as important as if they were our main waiter. People comment that it's expensive, but for the ambieance, customer service, and food it's actually quite reasonable. This was not our first time here but it may be our last. Food was just ok, at $20 average per entree it should have been better. We felt rushed by the waitress the busier it became. This location has certainly gone downhill. What bother us the most was the VERY visible mold growing on the ceiling. This has to be a health issue. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more

The place didn't seem very busy but could have been as we didn't see the wait staff very often. Still seems as though I could have had a refill of my drink sooner than I did. Food was perfect, had the atmosphere of a fine establishment, and staff were very professional and warm. We shared the fried cauliflower, which was a perfection of blended flavors including lemon and red pepper. My spouse ordered the 8oz sirloin with a loaded baked potato and steamed broccoli. He described his meal as deeply satisfying, and he is quite particular about steaks. I ordered the Creekside salad, and sides of whipped potatoes and steamed broccoli. Ordered the pork chop...came to the table raw. Brought back the same piece of meat I cut into...that was now way overcooked. I asked why I didn't get a new piece of meat...manager was RUDE as can be with a sarcastic reply. "It was under cooked, so we cooked it." WTH. No other manager came by to fix the problem. Napkins on the table were wet and smelled like mildew. Everyone else's food was good. Salad and appetizers were good ...but at an upscale restaurant for Wylie...very disappointed at the managers smart ass remark to wanting a new pork chop. Appetizers: GET THE FIRECRACKER SHRIMP AND HOT CRAB & SHRIMP DIP - SO GOOD! These appetizers were so good we literally saved half of each to take home for the next day. Entrees: My man ordered the 12 OZ RIBEYE and he loved it! I ordered the MAHI ALEXANDER and enjoyed my dish, but I'm getting the burger next time. Our daughter got the chicken tenders and tore it up Now I need to spend a little time on the mashed potatoes because my goodness. THE MASHED POTATOES are creamy and well seasoned. Like very good. Exceeded expectations. We came here late evening on a Sunday and we're seated and served immediately. Service was very friendly and the place was pretty busy. Somehow they managed to fit quite a few tables into a small-ish area of the dining room, but it doesn't feel overly crowded. For my food, I ordered the firecracker shrimp tacos (which come with corn) and then I got an additional side of seeet potato fries as I wasn't sure the meal would be enough. I was wrong, it was actually very filling! The tacos had great flavor and the corn might've been my favorite thing. Definitely a spot we will be returning to. I visited recently with my husband and some friends. It had been about a year since our previous visit, not because of any issues last time but just because time gets away from us! We arrived a little early for our Saturday dinner reservation so we had a bit of a wait but were seated pretty close to our reservation time. The place was very busy! We ordered drinks and appetizers (we loved the raspberry whiskey sour and the crispy Brussels sprouts and cauliflower!), and we had to wait a bit for our dinner order to be taken, but once the drinks arrived the appetizers came soon after. I had grilled chicken that was cooked really nicely and I think my husband had some kind of fish which he really enjoyed. No room for dessert - we were already stuffed! Everything that we saw was clean and well maintained. I was a bit nervous because of some of the negative reviews, but I didn't see anything related to previous complaints. Excellent all around. We arrived 15 minutes early to our reservation and the place was packed. We expected to wait, but were seated within five minutes of arriving. Service started immediately once we were seated and we had our drinks within 10 minutes of being seated. My wife ordered the watermelon mojito and it was well made. The only thing we could complain about was the wilted mint leaves they used as garnish. For our appetizer we ordered the crab and shrimp dip with pita bread. We hesitated to order it at first because of the pita bread, but we are glad we chose this appetizer. The dip is delicious and I would easily rate it a 10, definitely a must try. For our entrees my wife ordered the mahi Alexander and I ordered the trout with shrimp. I did sub the mashed potatoes for street corn. Both entrees were outstanding and the portion sizes were large. My wife is a picky eater and she could not find fault with her dish. The only error made was they brought out the mashed potatoes instead of the corn, but the server corrected immediately. I did hear the table next to me also received the wrong side on their order, but it's a minor issue and does not take away from overall service. The food was so delicious that we decided to end our meal with the tiramisu, it was outstanding. This restaurant is a perfect example of good service, excellent food and reasonable prices.
