The staff and service are great! We were seated right away with no wait. The Manny's frozen margarita was okay, I've had better. I think the price for the quality of food needs to be reevaluated. $11 for queso and over $40 for combo fajitas surprised us. I'd seek a place with a bit more flavor. The churros were delicious and I'd definitely come back to try commenting else on the menu. read more

Came for lunch with a coworker and we were immediately seated. There were few customers in the restaurant so the service was prompt. I ordered the table side guacamole and it didn't come in an el molcajete - it appeared to have been premade guacamole - didn't enjoy. The tortilla soup bowl was severely lacking and I wouldn't recommend anyone order it. Just broth with large chunks of melted cheese and avocado slices. I would rate this place higher just considering the nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is mediocre at best, and if you want a margarita, be prepared to pay top dollar. First off let me start by saying wow !! I How did I love being greeted at the front with a smile and a very welcoming entrance . I love how everyone was very sweet and polite. My husband and I sat at the bar where we enjoyed the service of our bartender Irma ! I was initially wanting to come to mannys for the self serve margaritas but apparently it was only at the Richardson location but Irma recommended to still try a margarita and sure enough I had the best frozen margarita ever ! I got the Texan and that was so good , I love the different mixes to it and my husband loved that pineapple margarita . My husband had the choice to change it to tequila blanco and it was great ! Manny's at The Station in Sachse has quickly become one of our regular dining options close to home. They treat us like "regulars" whenever we stop in and Elise is our server of choice because she always remembers us and takes such wonderful care of us. But we've honestly never had anything but the best service from all of the servers there. The managers are always thoughtful and will usually stop by to make sure our dining needs are being met. The food is great and the atmosphere is casual and never stuffy. I love that they will allow me to customize my dining options to meet my nutritional needs without it ever seeming like a bother. If you haven't given Manny's in Sachse a try, do yourself a favor and stop by for lunch, dinner or even just a snack or some drinks. After over a year of enjoying Manny's , tried the Mexican Shrimp Ceviche and it was amazing! We were already a fan of the Brisket Queso and Skinny Margaritas but now there is another favorite! Going sev yrs now, always tip well every trip on good to excellent service. This trip was HORRIBLE. We were served by a server who's just okay who's served us once before. Noticed a drink menu but no prices listed which seemed odd and not the one we'd seen before. A small signage on our table said Happy Hour ALL drinks $3 off. We order 3 drinks and then one off our party ordered another of the same he'd had so 4 in all. We finish our meal, the bill comes and now prices for drinks are listed on it. Asked our server a very simple ? - what is the reg price vs the discounted price for them so we know if our bill reflects the discounted or reg pricing. Btw nothing on the bill showed prices with separate line deduction showing $3 off each or discounted total of $9 or $12 off for them. Hence the reason for the ? . Surprisingly she said she'd have to ck but for the 2 in our party that had margaritas were covered in the Happy Hour $3 off special. I pointed to the card & asked about it saying "all. drinks." Approx 8-10 mins later a guy in a dinner jacket walks up throws his hands / palms down on our table, just looking at us saying "yes." No... Hi there! or, how was your food/or your server asked me over here, no nada. We all looked at him & each other, trying to figure why the hell, he was there and not saying why he's there at all. Then it finally dawned on us he must be the supv/mgr & our server didn't tell us anything coupled with the fact that he said nothing about why he was there either. Talk about awkward!!! I then asked if he's at our table just b/c we just asked our server what are the prices on our bill that we're paying for the reg or discounted. He replied yes again. TOTALLY RUDE and handled poorly. 1st-servers are to know their menus/drinks specials, 2nd= We expected her to find out then let us know. 3. if she wasn't or unwilling to do that, she should have told us, hey my mgr is coming to address your concern. 4- You're a mgr / say why you just walked up to a table of 4 who didn't ask for you or know why you we're sent to them then just plopped/threw your hands on the table AS IF they know why you decided to just interrupt their convo and appear there without saying why you are there and continue to just stand there. Not sure who I fault more, our server for feeling the need to get him vs her just coming bk and telling us the simple answer, or the poor behavior of the one w/the mgr title but not the skills. SUS & SHADY to make your customers feel like they need the big bad wolf put on em simply b/c they nicely asked hey no drink prices listed on your drink card but are the prices on the bill the happy hour prices or not so we can pay and get going onto our movie. I ordered chicken nachos. Everyone at table was waiting on me to get my food. I told them to eat while I waited. Manager brings them out and bragged about how he made them himself. Worst nachos ever. Great brunch place and I hope they get more business to keep it up. I love visiting on a weekend morning before 10am to enjoy the mimosas and quiet patio seating. I had the Steven's enchilada special with sunrise sauce and a carafe of watermelon mimosas. Perfect meal to get your day started. The chilaquiles were good too, since I had them before. Tried Manny's for the first time this week (3/25) and really enjoyed it! The building itself was lovely and spacious, and the food was great! We had margaritas, queso, flautas and the cowboy chicken salad, and everything was delicious! The service was pretty slow, and we had three different waiters help us, but they were all nice and we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. The food here is excellent, and the corn tortillas are the best you'll find outside your abuela's house. Nice place to stop for a cocktail and they seem to have brunch available every day. My only complaint is how slow some of the secondary staff (e.g. chips and salsa) come by, but the actual waiters and management are attentive and responsive. read more

Let me start by saying we eat here about 3 or 4 times a month and this review isn't about the food. The food is always great. What I want to discuss is the preferential service. Take tonight for example. My wife and I get there about 6:20 and are told it's about a 20 min wait. You know what... no problem. My problem is the "manager" coming up and hugging a buddy of his who came in 10 minutes after us and sat his party of 3 right away as the rest of us wait and wait. Then they sit another party of two that came in after us. Not sure how their seating assignments go, but this was a terrible experience. I'm sure we will continue to visit this establishment but do better. read more

We have tried this Manny's location twice and have sat at the bar. Both experiences were the same. Bartenders aren't attentive. Either too busy talking to other customers or running to the kitchen to get food or bus tables all while 3-4 managers stood around talking and waiting for customers to come into the restaurant. Bartenders need to tend to their bar and customers. Waiters need to wait tables and deliver food. Managers should be good examples and pick up the slack where needed. Hope the Cityline location is better including the training of their employees and management. read more

So first off, my "server" never came to the table. The hostess ended up serving me (she was wonderful). I had to go inside to get her in order to get a to go box bc I never had a server throughout my whole meal. 3/22/23: This was our first visit. There are several restaurants in the area. We sat at the bar, where Jorge and Nadia took care of us. We had a Margarita, a Michelada, a couple of rounds of Mexican Candy. All our drinks were pretty good, particularly the Michelada and the Mexican Candy. Jorge and Nadia were very friendly. We told them that we would be back to sample their menu, since we had just had dinner before stopping by. Their menu looks pretty good. There was plenty of parking, and plenty of seating area inside and out. There was a nice share patio area between Manny's and the Brass Tap. This was a nice place to hang out. I came here for lunch. I had the urge for Mexican food. If you have ever tasted the savory flavors of real Mexican food, you will be disappointed if you think this place will come close. The food appears to "look" Mex but the taste is definitely "Tex." The service was slow and the restaurant did not have many people. Yet it took about ten minutes for the waiter to take my order. That doesn't include the five minute wait for my chips and salsa. I was not a fan of neither. I settled on the beef fajitas plate, which included rice and beans. I can not ever say I saw beef fajitas come out of the kitchen with no sizzle. The plate you see posted was pretty in appearance at best. The taste was bland and the food was not warm. (See picture), Came with rice and slaw and a few avacado slices . No beans. Cost was $19.00. The nachos were 8 round mini tostada shells. Half with bean and chicken topped with cheddar and half with beans and ground beef topped with cheddar. came with guacamole and sour cream. The fajitas steak tasted like it was cooked the day before. It was a disappointment at best. My margarita was a bit tart and not as good as other locations. I do have to say that our server was very sweet and accommodating. No issues with her service. My favorite go to location is the Heath location. It's always good there. To add insult to injury, I purchased a praline when I was leaving. It was outdated and very hard. I took a small bite of it and tossed it into the trash can. It was old and outdated. At the time of purchase, I didn't notice the date sticker on the back. Such a let down. Oh well, I'll be back to Mannys, but not at this location. Heath location will be my go to location. read more

I really like Manny's. Particularly this location. Really nice open space, love the patio too. Service on this evening was just "ok". Not bad, but not great. He just was doing his job. And slightly underperforming. I ran out of water halfway through the meal, and finally got some when he bright the check. Wife and I split a skinny margarita. Well, it seemed like we got maybe 1/4 margarita and the rest water. It was so weak we drank maybe half and left the rest for someone else. Totally not worth $11.00! I won't make that mistake again. We brought three friends and they all seemed to enjoy their food, as did I, with the exception that my Manny Special was not really hot. Just warm. TexMex should be served bubbling hot. Can't touch the plate hot. That's the downfall of Manny's for me. Other items could be served warm and be ok. Not enchiladas, rice, beans. The cheese should be bubbling. I'm not sure I'll be back unless they make some adjustments. I hope they do, but I realize lots of people are just fine with the way things are.
