Same great Frankie's that I enjoy in Richardson, just a different setting! This particular Frankie's is in an old house, this the name Frankie's Casa. I am not usually at a Frankie's when they serve Brunch so today, I ordered Breakfast Tacos. They were good, but could have used smaller potato chunks and more eggs in my opinion. Our server David was great! Attentive and professional. He did a great job anticipating our needs. My biggest complaint about the experience was the sewer smell in the restroom area. Review #2114

    $10 house margaritas.

Food was good but had sticker shock on margaritas. Ordered 2 margaritas but with vodka instead of tequila. Nothing fancy, just substitute vodka for tequila. He said I would get the happy hour price which was ok but expected to pay the regular $10 rate. Bill arrived at $32.50, billed as Skinny Rita. Asked him to talk to management for correction, but they did not budge. First time in years that a restaurant upcharged me for this. Unfortunately, will not return.

Hands down my favorite Mexican in the Wylie/ Sachse area. I love both locations! My personal fave are chicken tacos with beans and rice. Simple, classic Mexican good done right. The quesadillas are also delicious. The salsa here has just the right amount of kick, and the chips are tasty without being too hard or too greasy! We sat in the indoor patio space, which was cute and comfortable with the hot weather. Our server made sure all our orders came out right, and checked in on us as well! Can't go wrong with Frankie's!

Your Yelper Girl checking in! My fiancé and I were craving Mexican food on a weekend trip to Wylie. We weren't sure where to eat so we checked out some restaurants with a high star Yelp rating. We chose Frankie's. Very cute restaurant and we were seated quickly. The chicken and shrimp fajitas were delicious as were the fixings. Corn tortillas were nothing special but most aren't unless made in house. Drinks were good as well. We got Mexican martinis and they didn't come with ice but were very slushy. Very friendly service. Would visit again if we are in the area.

We had the quesadilla, caldo de pollo. I had the chicken tortilla soup. It was good but had a little bit more salt then I like. But still ate it. I would go back bc they do have some great brunch options.

First, the food was amazing! The sizzling skillet of fajitas was aromatic and flavorful and there was a generous portion of steak! The shrimp tacos were cooked to perfection and the drinks were satisfying. However, what stood out most was the wonderful service provided by our server Amara. She was attentive, answered our questions about the menu, and told us what her favorites were. She made sure that we had all we needed before our food came and afterwards. We will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend Frankie's to anyone who's never tried them. That said, if you don't like crowds, I'd recommend going on a week night.

This place is absolutely amazing! I will let you know that it gets packed and it stays packed because the food and the service is exceptional! Got there and had a party of seven and was able to get set right away, our waitress was able to accommodate all the needs of our party, which was great. We had plenty of chips and salsa, which was really good. The chips were fresh. The salsa is mild and the fresh tortillas are also good to your choice of flour or corn. In addition, I must say that I tried their potato brisket enchiladas and oh my God was this a hit they come with mushrooms and I did the mushrooms on the side and I'm here to tell you that when I return, I will be ordering the same plate again. The queso is a must. I'm not for sure what they put into it but we ended up having two bowls of it and honestly, I mean, you could almost put your finger in there and lick all the sides because the queso is so good. I will let you also know that every single thing on the menu is delicious from the fajitas to the chicken to the steak to the tacos. Anything that you ordered is great. We ordered pretty much everything and they do have a happy hour that ends at 6 PM with five dollar margaritas. In addition, we were not rushed to leave and were able to talk and have some fun. We loved that the fact that the manager came over a few times to check on us and see if we needed something as well. And as we finished food, we were able to stack up plates, and the table was actually to be clear so that we could continue to chat for a little while. This place is a gem so if you're in the area, please stop by. You'll feel right at home.

Service was ok! Had chicken tacos good, but seemed was thrown together! I got a small guacamole, and a spoon scoop was 6.50 I asked if that was the correct price, and she said yes! So I would not order guacamole unless you're willing to get ripped off

Frankie's food is always good. We go there for special occasions - a bit pricey for us to go regularly. But well worth it!

I always say how hard is it to mess up breakfast...but they did!!!!!! Cold, cold, extremely cold food! We were only 1 of 2 tables at 11:15, on Thursday August 28th. Our food sat on a shelf in the kitchen for 10 minutes. Breakfast is NOT tasty when served cold! We both ordered the Retro Breakfast, mine Sunny-side eggs, my friend's scrambled. All of our food had way too much black pepper, where I love pepper... this was too much. My friend's eggs had so must pepper they looked gray. And her eggs were so overdone, dry like rubber. The biscuit flat & COLD! I had gravy on my biscuit that was gloopy, COLD! One & Done! Where the maple wood on the walls was a nice touch, the rest of the decor was as cold as the food. This was a very nice surprise for a fast casual/counter order establishment. I ordered the Five & Dime sandwich. It was huge! I had to cut it up with a fork and knife LOL. My husband had the other half. Not yet a 5 star rating due to the mix up of my chai latte order! It was no biggie to me, but I can see how disorganization can be frustrating to a lot of other patrons! They're still very new, so I think they're working through a lot of the logistical kinks! Overall, an amazing place for fresh made biscuits!

When we checked in, we were told the wait would be about 40 minutes. While we waited, we watched five different parties--most with groups of three to five people--get seated before us. I know they didn't have reservations because two of those groups actually asked us how to check in before they were seated. After waiting the 40 minutes we were originally quoted, I went back to ask why we still hadn't been seated. Instead of an explanation or an apology, I was simply told, "It's going to be another 40 minutes." I truly don't want to believe this was a race issue, but I can't ignore how the experience made me feel.
