The employees are friendly, and they actually smile when they talk to you. This is become so rare these days that I wanted to mention that first. Now on to the food... It's really, really good. I'm pretty sure there's not a bad dish on the menu. I had the Caldo de Res. I ordered a small bowl and it was a very large portion. Typically, the Caldo I've ordered at other restaurants has a flavorless broth. But this one is delicious and even has a little bit of a spicy kick to it. The bowl was packed with meat and a variety of vegetables. It came with a side of rice and a basket of tortillas. My husband had the enchilada plate and it came with four enchiladas, rice and beans. The only thing they don't serve here that is typical with many Mexican. Restaurants is tortilla chips. But, they do have 2 different homemade salsa's and corn tortillas. Our server checked on us at least three times while we were there, and seemed very eager to please. They really wanted us to enjoy our meal! We will definitely be coming here often. read more

Fantastic service here. They must have checked on my wife and me 7 times. The food is more authentic Mexican and less Tex-Mex. No chips and hot sauce. But they have fresh corn Tortillas. The green and red sauce have some kick. My chicken enchiladas was amazing! My wife's Caldo was a large serving. I will definitely be coming back to try the Mole. read more

It's tasty for Mexican breakfast menudo is good but does not have hominy. The waitress claims that they are from Mexico and that apparently don't add hominy to their menudo. I would just say that when you are a restaurant in Texas nobody cares how people prepare menudo in Mexico, in Texas we eat it with hominy.
