Whiskey cocktail menu

There are a lot more cocktail options since we've been here a year ago for their opening day. The service was great, and I love the cozy ambiance of Herman Marshalls! If you're hungry, you can order food by scanning a QR code on the back of the menu. Restaurants are nearby and will deliver for free to Herman Marshalls!

They don't sell food , but on the back of the drink menu they have local restaurants QR codes to menus for food, when I went last night they had a food truck in the back of the business. The service was great, I was impressed by the decorations, Friday night is Jazz nights so the ambiance was perfect to unwind to good music and great drinks.

Great Bartender and great Whiskey! Keep doing what you've been doing because it's working.

Tuesday is bingo night!

Fun place in downtown Wylie. All of the drinks are made with their spirits but there are lots of different options. Most nights they have a fun activity...bingo, poker, trivia or live music.

Amazing service! The yummiest peanut butter old fashioned and spiked apple cider!! I can't wait for the next visit.

Awesome place in downtown Wylie. They really did a great job with decor and keeping a small town service feel. The music was nice volume and selection. I had the flight and got to try single malt, blended whiskey and bourbon. I enjoyed 2/3. Also tried the blackberry smash which was great and the old fashioned. I would return when I'm looking for a nice adult outing with some good drinks and good company.

Good whiskey and vodka cocktails. This place has a friendly atmosphere and cute decorations. There are ample places around to pick up food and bring back.

The venue is designed to resemble a Prohibition-era speakeasy, with an entrance accessible through a rotary phone inside a red telephone booth (which actually works!). Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. Cocktails and friendly service was provided by Emma and Kyle, their services were a nod to Bob Ruede, RPB's renowned Intoxicologist, along with other award-winning bartenders recognized for their excellence in service and hospitality. Eric, the Cigar Attendant, is knowledgeable about how to properly enjoy an exceptional cigar experience. Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. It's got that Texas feel to it, but cleaned up a bit. Comfortable, but still a little polished. The food was really solid across the board. You know how brunch can sometimes just be... fine? This wasn't that. Everything tasted like someone actually cared about it. Good seasoning, cooked right, and just enough creativity without overdoing it. It still felt like brunch, just done properly. Drinks were great too. Not over-the-top, just well-made and easy to enjoy. Definitely the kind of place where one turns into two without much convincing. Service was smooth--friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Nobody hovering, nobody rushing you out. Just a good flow to the whole meal. We ended up sitting there longer than we planned, just hanging out and enjoying it, which probably says the most. If you're in Frisco and want a brunch spot that actually feels worth going to, Haywire's a safe bet.

However, after visiting multiple times at different times of day, I don't think I'll be coming back. The food is fine and the coffee is okay, but the customer service has consistently been disappointing, and that's what ultimately ruins the experience. Each time I've gone, the staff behind the counter seem disengaged and uninterested in helping customers. There have been multiple occasions where no one acknowledges you at the counter, or they stay in the back and make you feel like you're interrupting them just by ordering. When they do interact, it often comes across as short or unfriendly. I'm not trying to make assumptions about the staff, but after repeated experiences like this, the environment just feels unwelcoming. It's gotten to the point where I can't even focus on working there because the overall vibe feels off. It's frustrating because this place could be great with more attentiveness and basic kindness in customer service. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently negative enough that it outweighs everything else.
