I've encountered this concept during a trip to Boerne, TX before Covid but only for wines. This is the first time I've seen a whiskey wall. If you are like me who wants to try higher end whiskey, come during happy hour for their 20% off special which is reflected on the small screen before dispensing. Whiskeys on their dispensing machines allow guests to choose from 1oz, 1.5oz, or 2oz pours. The place is dark and have that speakeasy feel to it but they have a nice outside back patio if that's the vibe you are looking for. They also have a small bar if "pour your own" concept is not for you. Service was prompt during the time we were there ( a little past 5pm). Definitely a place to checkout when in the area.

Friday date night with the hubby and we decided to checkout this spot because he loves his whiskey! It's about a 30 minute drive from downtown Dallas. Super cute - laid back lounge vibe. Pour your own whiskey and wine machines. We had deviled eggs, dumplings, pork belly bao buns, Parmesan truffles fries, cheesecake, and carrot cake! All items were good and we were stuffed! The fries and carrot cake were my favs. I drank espresso martinis because I am not a wine or whiskey drinker - so yes there is a full bar! They also have a patio for cigars - maybe next time we will check that out! Definitely will be back!

Love the snacks and the selection of wine they have. They also have mixed cocktails and whiskey on tap. Our server was nice and the ambiance was moody and cute. We went on a Saturday evening around 9pm. It wasn't packed and they had a live singer performing. He was good but it was just really loud to where we couldn't hear each other talk. Definitely a cute spot to go for an after work drink or an evening after dinner. Get the truffle fries!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. A friend and I visited on a Friday night. The self serve wine & whiskey bar was simple and offered a broad range of options. The food we order was absolutely delicious. We tried their truffle fries, they had a crunchy exterior and a fluffy interior. Dynamite shrimp, which lays on a leafy bed. Beef Carpaccio, which was absolutely a great pair with the crab cakes. If you're ever interested in a night out with a lowkey vibe, this will definitely be a great spot to frequent. They also have a variety of cigars and a patio area to enjoy them.

Social Oak has a very laid back, upscale vibe. I like to go on Wednesdays for the 20% off wine on tap happy hour. It's a comfortable and private place where I've seen people go after work, to start off ladies night, etc. The service is always quick and helpful since the bar is well staffed. It's worth a visit!

10/10 recommend! I recently celebrated my 40th birthday here and reserved the outdoor patio for about 30 guests--it could not have been more perfect. 1. Victoria, our server, was PHENOMENAL. She managed our large party with ease, remembering everyone's orders and making sure everything ran seamlessly--even with separate checks at the end. She had a young gentleman assisting her, but she totally ran the show, and her customer service was next-level. 2. Bianca, the GM, did a fantastic job coordinating everything ahead of time and making sure the evening was exactly how I envisioned. She even printed out the photo of my invitation I had texted her--just to match the vibe--and posted it on the door. Such a small touch, but it made me feel so special. 3. I also got to meet Vinh, the owner, who was so friendly and welcoming. From the drinks to the food to the customer service, everything was . I couldn't have chosen a better spot to celebrate my milestone birthday.

It's a very cool concept of being able to pour your own whiskey and wine. I've seen similar things like this before with beer and cider so it was interesting to see it with wine and whiskey. The food is good, especially their happy hour menu. And the staff were kind and attentive to us. Worth a visit if you're in the area

Hits the trifecta with food, service and ambiance. I highly recommend the ahi tuna tacos, as well as the truffle pasta.

I had a fashioned. It was fine. My husband had a mojito and it was sour and tasteless. My filet tips were from yesterday and were obviously not fresh. My son got the shrimp pasta and said the water tasted better. Salt didn't help. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. Prices definitely did not reflect dishes. Edit: In regards to your reply. Putting it back on us to not have taken the time to remake or adjust 3 out of the 4 meals isn't appropriate at this point, which is why we didn't say anything. My filet and potatoes was obviously leftovers from yesterday. Whoever chose to send that out isn't someone I trust to "fix it". As bad as everything was I didn't trust to fix anything. If one thing wasn't good that is something fixable. Not trying to stir up trouble. Giving honest reviews to make our experience known. Something was definitely wrong today.

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

As soon as I sat down, the bartender promptly provided me with the menu. Unfortunately, service was inconsistent. Although she had passed me several times, the bartender failed to take my beverage and food order. Eventually, she realized I had nothing to drink nor eat. She asked if I was ready to order in the manner as I had been asked that question already. When I ordered the Italian Beef Dip, I went with the ciabatta over the focaccia as it was recommended by the bartender. The customer near me strongly agreed. Once I dipped the sandwich in the au jus, I understood their recommendations. The bread held well after it was dipped; the focaccia may not have done as well. Because the au jus was very salty, I ended the majority of the sandwich without it. On the way to the restroom, I noticed a large puddle down the hall. The small group of waitresses nearby were too busy chitchatting to notice. After a couple of attempts, I was successful in informing one of them.

I decided to leave my phone at home since this was a dinner date with my husband. Well they have NO physical menus according to our server. To me that is not a good thing. However, I was provided with an IPad to scroll the menu. Water was brought to table and we each ordered a drink. I ordered the cucumber smash. The drink was delicious but took quite some time to be delivered. My husband got soda and lime and his came out quickly. Service at this point is a bit slow. The place is a bit loud and plays club music -this IS NOT a club. It is finer dining and you have to listen to the same beat over and over and over -not a fan! We were dining inside. I do believe the roof top is different. We ordered the warm goat cheese. It was served in a skillet and very warm. However the toast was soft and not crunchy or firm at all and cold. It had been toasted and had burn marks and was beautiful but then soaked in butter to soften and then very cold. Would not order again. My husband had Beef Carpaccio-he loved it-not my thing. For dinner we shared Lemon Butter Salmon & Shrimp $40 Blackened salmon and shrimp drizzled with a rich lemon butter sauce, served over fragrant saffron rice and grilled broccolini And we both did not like it at all. The saffron rice honestly made me gag and did not like the flavor. The salmon was dry and there wasn't even a hint of any lemon. The shrimp was good and broccolini was delicious. So for $100 we left hungry and had mediocre service. We will go back for roof top seating but never again indoors
