PIAF is a cute little restaurant on Main Street Grapevine. They have an amazing patio with live music. The place specializes in great Mediterranean options. The patio seating is amazing during the holiday season as you can see the holiday decorations from the dining room. The cauliflower was amazing and must try for the vegans out there. So I hear there is a rooftop. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience it because there was a private event going on. Inside it was, but it was pretty cute. It definitely had a lounge vibe, so great place for drinks with the gals. We had the hummus to start, and honestly, it was pretty bland. I would love to have a bit of seasoning or spice added! A friend got the fig and prosciutto pizza and felt it was a bit salty. I had the mushrooms risotto and it was pretty good! I did add a hint of salt, which made it much better. We also ordered a bottle of prosecco and it was warm, but the staff quickly placed the bottle in the freezer and the next bottle came nice and cold. This place is the best restaurant in Grapevine! We sat on The Perch indoor rooftop and the atmosphere was so enjoyable. There was live music and the entire restaurant was decorated in such a fun yet sophisticated way. Our waitress was fantastic. We were celebrating a birthday and she gladly refrigerated the cake that we brought and then served it with a sparkling candle after dinner. As for the food, also fantastic. The Brussel sprouts were so flavorful and crispy, the truffle fries were delicious, and the seafood was perfection. The Wagyu burger was good not amazing, but were so many good looking things on the menu that I would just order something else next time. My co-worker and I wanted to find a spot near work that had good happy hour deals and so we tried PIAF. We came on a Thursday at around 5:30 and it wasn't super busy, but with a few people there to make it seem like you're not alone in the restaurant. We decided to sit upstairs which I would highly recommend if you're able to. They open the curtains when the sun goes down and it's such a nice view of the downtown area. We didn't eat any entrees but got several apps to share along with a glass of wine. We split the arancini, sirloin bruschetta, halloumi fries and lamb pops. I will say that the portions were pretty small, but again they were HH prices so can't complain too much. If we had more time, we would have ordered a couple of more apps. The lamp pops were the size of a quarter, no joke. However, I will say that most of the apps tasted really great, especially the arancini. Overall, great service and experience. I plan on bringing the boyfriend back here for a date night and actually eating an entree there. read more

Slow serving, messed up our reservation for the third or fourth time this year. Loud and we had a few of our party leave to eat somewhere else as the noise from a ladies party next to us was deafening. Ordered a bottle of wine that took 25 min to get. Two of our did not eat our cold undercooked food and we all left to get drinks and desert at Dino and Claw. A whimsical experience in Grapevine. First time visiting here, but I had already marked PIAF as the place I wanted to go to a while back. The pictures don't even do it's justice! The service is unbelievable, what a great atmosphere as well. So good, you don't want to leave. I came in two days on a row, just because there was so much I wanted to try that was impossible just in one outting. There's still a lot more to try, but I have now a better image of what to expect. The food was great. We had the lobster bisque and the porkshops. I mean the value of what you get accompanied with the ambiance and the friendly staff is just amazing. The drinks are creative, tasty, and elegant. We had Miguel as our bartender and wait staff. Saying he went above and beyond is not an exaggeration. He was so accommodating and very helpful when creating something new, not in the menu, just because! I'm so happy with this experience and the town, which by the way is so clean, organized and pretty. I wish I live here like yesterday! There should be more places like PIAF. Honestly, it's one of those unforgettable local business to visit. The decorations and the rooftop really give you choices to get the experience you want. First time here. The music and ambient noise make conversation difficult. My husband ordered the Shish Taouk for his entree, and it arrived, overcooked and over salted before our appetizer. The grilled Caesar salad was good. I ordered the Redfish, but was more cooked than necessary. The underlying vegetables were the best part of the plate. Fabien and the staff at Piaf set up a brunch event for my extended family. We had it in their beautiful wine room and it was incredible. The food was not only delicious but artfully displayed and abundant. We were celebrating the life of my dad who passed recently and everyone at Piaf was so thoughtful and kind. The service was impeccable. Every time I looked up someone was by my side to offer help. They made our experience very special. Over several years of visits here, this has become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Everything starts with the free first order of the Tzatziki sauce and crisp pita chips. Such a good counter to the Tex-Mex restaurants' offerings of chips and salsa. A second order is available for a fee, but one has always been enough at our table (for large parties they add more at no cost). We have yet to find anything on the menu that we did not like. Favorites have become the Sea Bass, the Lamb Shank, the Redfish, the salmon, the flatbreads, the Greek salad, the Lamb burger and the warm goat cheese. But, what drove me to the updated review today was the Piaf Cioppino that I tried for the first time a few days ago. OMG. What an amazing dish. The octopus arm was much bigger than expected and tender and flavorful. All of the rest of the seafood in it was perfectly prepared and generous as well. And the sauce was perfect, though a good kick to it. This is an amazing dish. Piaf also does a great job with special occasions. And service is outstanding. Always ask to sit upstairs. My review status with them has moved from a strong 4 stars to an enthusiastic 5 stars. Best restaurant in Grapevine. read more

Came here with my brother while in town for a nice dinner since we don't get out much together. My brother is a big wine guy so they like to come here a lot for their huge wine selection so we perused the menu and all got some dishes to mix up and try. I got the muscles as an entrée, the French onion soup to start, and the crème brûlée for dessert. everything but the onion soup really stood out as unique and flavorful. I think the onion soup was par, the soup itself tasted like onion soup should the presentation, although nice was lacking a little bit with just a square piece of cheese melted over a baguette, balanced on the top of the bowl. It wasn't entirely melted and you could see it was peeled out of a package not roasted under a fire with that nice brown crust, but it was tasty. I think they could improve that presentation. Just a little bit with some fire on the top to ensure you get that full melting gooey cheese, but I have high expectations so it was good. The muscles would've made a good appetizer, but I won't choose it again as an entrée. A little too much work for me since I have arthritis in my fingers so I should've opted for fish or maybe a steak but I really wasn't that hungry. Atmosphere was nice, the entire restaurant was gorgeous, and you could see the kitchen where there was no chaos, the staff seemed very professional, and just the kind of restaurant I like to go to. This would be a great date restaurant as it's classy, putting on a nicer pair of pants but several people were in jeans, it doesn't really matter how you enjoy a meal, but I do like to dress for the atmosphere. LOVE Piaf! I've been twice and stayed on the patio upstairs both times. There's great live music that really helps with ambiance and bring good vibes. We got the shrimp and octopus appetizer - our favorite! HIGHLY recommend keeping the sauce for dinner. We also got the Caesar salad, really good as well. For dinner we got Paella and mussels. The paella was good and great leftover. The mussels came with a TON for only $20 - but I did prefer the sauce from the octopus shrimp better than the mussels sauce. We got the tiramisu since we were celebrating something - also great. For drinks, I got the strawberry mule - a bit too sweet for me. And my boyfriend got a dirty martini. I hate they don't offer a menu and need your phone to download menu... it was hard to read. Complimentary chips and tzatziki sauce. We started with their greek salad and it was good, but not as the photo or description reflects. No capers, no kalamata olives, the tomatoes were tiny little pieces, heavy on the onions. Wine selection nice and prices seem fair. For dinner, my husband had the sea bass and I had the Shish Taouk and we both had the same rice and red pepper sauce. I didn't care for the marinade on the chicken, needed some fresh ingrediants on both our plates. Fish was fishy. Lots of parking in the area. We will come back and try their happy hour. read more

We enjoyed our meal catching up with friends. We tried the charcuterie board, beef carpaccio, bisque soup, pork chop, mushroom ravioli with chicken, scallops with risotto, and a burger with fries. The server was nice, a bit slow but it was busy, and his recommendations were not to our liking. The atmosphere is trendy and loud. We sat on the second floor where they had live music playing. It was great music with saxophone instrumental and fun to realize we recognized some songs from Moana, little mermaid, sweet Caroline, and more. This was my first visit to Piaf. We had reservations at 7 for the roof top. It was perfect weather and open air. I was shocked to feel air conditioning as well! We had a table that overlooked the street. It was very nice view. The only downside was that it was right next to a serving area at the very end of the balcony. Our waitress was nice but only fair. She brought our waters and menus very quickly and we said we need a minute to decide on drinks. She gave us like 10 minutes before she even returned. That was far too long. She took our orders and our drinks came out within about 5 minutes and food a bit later. Our server checked on us about 2-3 minimum after we got our food. Our drinks were still fresh. The food was amazing! The sauce from the octopus and squid was delicious! Everything was amazing. I got a cucumber smash with vodka and my daughter got the special martini. The waitress never came back to ask if we wanted another drink. We finished our meal and drinks and she came about 10 minutes after we were done and asked if we wanted the check. We were ready to go. Please do not support this reataurant . My friend and I went there tonight . I have promoted this restaurant to many people as I love the man who plays the saxaphone . We went to Messina Hof and had a single glass of wine with cheese and crackers. They know me well there and can confirm I was not drunk. However I have had a very bad time with teeth latley and have had teeth pulled on the right side of my mouth and no longer have any molars at all on the right side. I also only have two molors on the left which are having repeat root canals . Therfore my speech is not always perfectly clear at the moment . They have a beautiful saxaphone man who was playing tv hits form the Golden Girls, Love Boat and more. I was dancing in my chair clapping my hands and being joyful. I did drop my glasses too which is just me . I got up and picked them up . The manager came to see what we wanted and I made the joke of next round is on you . She said something offensive back and clearly did not get that I was joking. In bad taste I made a joke related to sex. Shortly there after I was denied a drink and she was rude . She totally defameated my character by telling other patrons I was drunk . NOT TRUE at all. If I slur its because I am missing so many teeth in the back !!!!!!!! I have never been treated so rudely. This is the second time this restaurant has been rude to my family. Please do not go here. I have witness that I had one drink was not drunk - plentyof xrays showing how many teeth I am currently missing. Most of all I have never been treated so rudley and I am not letting this go . As for the owners repsonse totally inaccurate - rudest staff ever - the manager was beyond rude and did speak very ill of me to other patrons. She stormed off when I tried speaking to her. All and all this is my familys second poor experience with this place and none of us will return .There was no merit or exucuse for all the drama . If sitting in my chair clapping and knowing all the words to the songs and taking photos is incorrect then I dont want to go there anyway . Other then those totally adorable glasses shaped like birds and that wonderful saxaphone player there is nothing special about this place! My Son is an attorney and I am aware of Texas law. No excuse - the owners other restaurant Chez Fabian is the worst food ever . Meet some friends that moved to Texas over 20 years and had not seen since they left. Hoping this place would be good for a leisurely dinner. It was and the meal was great. The atmosphere was pleasant and open so we were able to visit and talk without shouting. We had multiple appetizers of cheeses, olives, calamari, and flatbreads. Delicious. I've been to Piaf Kitchen so many times within the last two years. They have the best of both worlds as far as dining. If you're having a date night with your man or lady I recommend sitting downstairs it's classy. If you are a bunch of women that just wanna have a good time sit upstairs . Good food good drinks. Make a reservation as they fill up quickly. On weekends they have live music, which makes it entertaining especially when everybody sing along. And obviously the food is delicious. What I'm most impressed about is the service it's not only your waiter that's going to help your table, all the waiters help each other out which I find fantastic.
