Clink Wine Bar is a gem in the Lakeside Flower Mound area. They have a fantastic selection of wines from across the world. They do some great happy hours through the week. Wednesday all day happy hour is my favorite with half price wines and appetizers. The happy hour sangria is fantastic. It's a great place to recharge and relax mid week end of day with some good food and great wine. The appetizers I personally enjoy are the ricotta dip and the sweet and spicy shrimp.

This dessert and wine bar is a winner. Our bartender Michelle is the absolute best. You have to have the Olive Oil cake! Don't pass this up...you will dream about it and go back for it. This place is the perfect place...alone at the bar for a drink and dessert. Perfect for girlfriend's night out or date night. I can't wait to go back.

Visited on Mother's Day. The service and food was fantastic. If you go on Sunday, try the Shakshuka off the Brunch menu. Amazing!!

Lovely space, great service and playlist! Delicious food and knowledgeable staff on wine. Fantastic happy hour and great private area for private dining or work event. Michelle was a very friendly and knowledgeable Bartender. Chef was cute, would eat here again!

I think the fundamental factor in visiting here is this: 'How much do you want to spend?' It's a tapas place so they serve small portions for a full price, 5-oz pours instead of 6, and offer superb wines that are quite expensive. Lots of the food offerings are unique and tasty, some are spicy...some good salads on the menu. Service was good, and they set good standards for their choices. I personally don't catch a thrill from buying $60 or up bottles of wine, or $17 glasses, so that limits my options...very nice and comfortable place with patio seating as well.

Stumbled up on this place after dinner nearby! We were unfamiliar with the shopping area but are so happy we ended up here. This wine shop is so adorable, great decor with a large bar in the middle, private room with glass walls that can be used for small parties as well as a wine room you can see into as well. Servers were amazing, friendly and helpful. Decent selection of wine at competitive prices.

Bar area on a Saturday night

We went to Clink last Saturday for the second time, hoping for a better vibe and atmosphere than the last time. At the entrance, there was a girl of about 12 years old welcoming us, and a boy around the same age sitting at the bar. We thought it was awkward, but we sat at the bar anyway and ordered the two most expensive 5-ounce glasses of wine. The wine was excellent, but no ambiance, the atmosphere was uncomfortable with children now behind the bar, lightning that's more suited to your kitchen, 80s music, and super slow service.

Stopped in at Clink for the first time on Saturday at 5:30 for drinks and a bite before dinner. This is a neat place with a whole new look and theme thats refreshing to Flower Mound. The restaurant has a nice bar area and a sleek and modern interior . We arrived in time for happy hour and decided to eat off their short menu (short menu has specials for happy hour) and ordered the snacks on special including the warm ricotta, the fritters and the roasted veggies. All were good but the fritters were numero uno in my mind - hard to find good fritters anywhere - but at a wine bar?! Only disappointment was because of supply issues they had one less white wine for selection on their happy hour menu and they weren't offering a substitute Overall a fun time and we will definitely return

Enjoy their wine flights indoor or outdoor while indulging in their delightful tapas-style plates. These include a variety of unique small and large plates, flavorful flatbreads, and tasteful charcuterie boards. You can even fill up a wine growler to take home. What we ate -Crispy Mozzarella| Shrimp + Corn Fritters| Mushroom Chicken| Seasonal Creme Brulee  This spot is great for a date night or night out with friends. We'll definitely come back !

A MUST visit if you are visiting the FloMo / Lakeside shops area! This was a pleasant surprise after my hot yoga class. There were lots of locals out on the patio enjoying their vino and snacks. For my cider lovers, they also have an abundance of flavors! Which includes the ACE brand, my absolute fave. The cheese was amazing as well, make sure you get the goat cheese with the jam. It was a very satisfying little plate and they have different sizes so whether you are dining solo or with a bunch of girlfriends there's a variety to try and you may add different meats. They also have different entrees if you want dinner! And it sounds like they are adding different dishes often. I enjoyed my snack plate for dinner so much I'm going to go back for ACTUAL dinner soon and very soon! They have live music on weekends as well. It's such a lively environment and cozy at the same time. Right up my alley! My only desire is I wish they had something like this closer to home but it is still on my after work radar so I will be making a trip back soon and very soon. Cheers, clink, and all that jazz!

This wine bar and tapas place just opened, in Lakeside area, of Flower Mound. My friend had heard it was great. It is new, so they are working out a few kinks, I think: service is a little slow at times and waiters are not totally on top of it. But...really I think they did just fine, especially when I found out they opened a couple of days ago! The owner came by our table and was very nice and personable. They have a great wine list. I tried 3 and my husband tried 3 others. All of them were amazing. There is only wine (it is a wine bar!) and some beer. So don't bother asking for your favorite cocktail. The olive appetizer was better than I expected. I even asked the owner what kind one of the olives was, because they were so delicious. I loved the warm ricotta dish, but it was silly that they gave us 3 points of bread. A plate of a little more bread was brought later, when requested...3 times... We shared everything with our friends (another couple), for a very nice meal. They all enjoyed the shrimp plate. The charcuterie board for 3-4 was perfect for the 4 of us. I wasn't even planning on trying the chips that were ordered, but when I did, I was hooked. There is something about the sauce. For my wine favorites: starting with the Sparkling Rose is perfect. I wish I had gotten a 5 oz, instead of a 2 oz pour. The Cab Franc. I had to get a second 5 oz pour! The biggest downside was the noise. I like a party feel, but we wished we had been able to sit outside, because we had to scream at each other to talk. There must be something that can be done to buffer the noise. Also, I called to make a reservation the night before. The guy started to take the reservation, but when I said it was for 4 people, he told me I didn't need a reservation. Well...there was luckily a table when we got there. So, you may need a reservation! We all decided we need to go back and try the rest of the menu items.

Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.

The portions are also huge Our server was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and checked on us often without being overbearing. The service was honestly the best part of the experience. We started with the Sichuan calamari, and this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was perfectly crispy, the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness and heat, and the seasoning gave it a nice kick without overpowering the calamari. It was one of the best calamari dishes I've had and definitely raised my expectations for everything that followed. Next was the tenderloin bruschetta, and unfortunately this one just didn't work for me. The flavors didn't come together, and it was much saltier than it needed to be. It felt like there were too many things happening on the plate without much balance. I wouldn't order it again. For the entrées, the Chilean Sea Bass was very good. The fish was flaky and cooked well, the risotto was creamy, and the sauce brought everything together without being too heavy. It was one of the stronger dishes we ordered. The lobster stuffed ravioli was another solid choice. The filling was generous, there was plenty of lobster on top, and the vodka sauce complemented everything nicely without taking over. It was rich but still well balanced. We also tried the New Zealand rack of lamb. This one had mixed reviews at our table. It wasn't as tender as I was hoping, but I didn't dislike it and again I didn't love it! The blackened exterior and the wine reduction gave it good flavor, but it just wasn't particularly memorable. My favorite entrée ended up being the tomahawk pork chop. The pork itself was juicy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I wasn't a huge fan of the pineapple bourbon glaze since I didn't think it added much to the dish, but the quality of the meat made up for it. We also had the strawberry spinach salad, which was fresh and a nice lighter option alongside all the richer dishes. Then there was also a side dish with green beans and almond and again no complains there. Overall, I left feeling a little conflicted. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was great, and the portions were very generous. The food itself was a mix of really good dishes and others that completely missed the mark. After such an incredible start with the calamari, I expected the rest of the meal to be on the same level, but it just never got there. I'm glad we tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd rush back to.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Initially I came to take advantage of a deal, however, do know that the $25 board and wine combo is only available Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 PM, and we were there around 4:30. However, despite that overlook on my part, the food definitely did not disappoint! We had an amazing server. She was easily available , quick, and accommodating. My friend had some dietary restrictions and she was quick to ask about them, and make needed modifications without any issue. Extremely kind, and fun to be around, she had some great suggestions for items on the menu. The environment was definitely more relaxed, however, the pace was definitely picking up when we left. As I mentioned we were there right before people seem to be getting out of work, and it seemed like a lot of people are making their way and to enjoy an evening meal or happy hour. We easily got a spot in front, however, if there happens not to be any available, there's lots of parking behind Lush on the opposite side of the road. I do believe the roof top is different. We ordered the warm goat cheese. It was served in a skillet and very warm. However the toast was soft and not crunchy or firm at all and cold. It had been toasted and had burn marks and was beautiful but then soaked in butter to soften and then very cold. Would not order again. My husband had Beef Carpaccio-he loved it-not my thing. For dinner we shared Lemon Butter Salmon & Shrimp $40 Blackened salmon and shrimp drizzled with a rich lemon butter sauce, served over fragrant saffron rice and grilled broccolini And we both did not like it at all. The saffron rice honestly made me gag and did not like the flavor. The salmon was dry and there wasn't even a hint of any lemon. The shrimp was good and broccolini was delicious.
