This may be my favorite winery in grapevine just because of the range of wines they offer. My husband loves a sweet wine and they have a great selection from peach to chocolate. They usually have special or limited edition where they try something new for the season. Everyone we go in the people serving are nice and knowledgeable. We were in the wine club for a couple of years and love how you can pick whites or reds or sweet or dry. This was my first experience of a Grapevine winery. They did a lot of things well. They have a chill environment and a decent amount of seating, including an outdoor patio. They also have games available to play that invites you to sit down and stay awhile. My group played giant uno, and it was a lot of fun. They also have small plates that you can add to your wine tasting for a discounted rate or add it as a stand-alone. One friend got pretzel bites and another friend, and I got a charcuterie board. I appreciated that they allowed me to substitute the meat for an extra piece of cheese and almonds. They also have a cool port cheese. They forgot my crackers originally but bought me some about 10 minutes later. You are able to choose 5 wines, and they have a decent amount to choose from. They also have a few options if you don't like wine. They also have multiple options of packages if you want food or a souvenir glass. The reason I gave them a 4 is because they are not staffed up in a way to make it easy to get served in a timely manner if you are not hanging out at the bar. If you are looking for a spot to catch up with friends and have a drink, look no further, you have found the place. I was in grapevine celebrating a friends birthday and she was wanting to do some wine tasting. Our only issue was some of the places we went to either didn't serve their own wines or didn't have a tasting flight. Someone suggested this to us and seriously, I don't drink wine but I was happy we stumbled on in. When we walked in we were told to take a seat anywhere we liked and there was plenty of seating inside but there is also a patio in the back. However what they didn't say was "come to the bar to order" so we sat for a moment waiting on someone to come help us before we realized that wasn't about to happen. Their tasting flight allows you to almost pick anything on the menu with a few exceptions but you get 5 pours for $20 and they do have the option to add on options like a take home glass or a small charcuterie board for a little extra. However they also have games available for you to play so your group can play scrabble or uno or one of the many other games they have while sipping on your wine. I think we stayed longer than we had anticipated because we were having so much fun. The charcuterie board I got was a nice little variety of things. My only issue is it seems like what people got varied and I didn't get to choose what I got. So the lady at table next us got nuts, my friend got olives on hers and so on. The only hang up, you don't get all your wines at the same time. You have to keep going back up to the bar each time you want a refill. Would I come back . . . Nice location with a patio and great ambiance! I really appreciated that they let you sample a couple of wines before ordering. I got the riesling and it was perfect for the warm weather. We tried a couple of flat breads, they tasted great. It got pretty busy later in the evening and the service was slow. Some people had to wait for about 30 min to get their wines and food. We spent the afternoon down in Grapevine. The day before the big festival and I have to say- we were a little disappointed. Only one employee working and she wasn't that friendly. They had a smooth counter service system, offering 5 tastings from a large selection of wines for $20. While I didn't do a tasting this time, the portions looked generous, and I liked that they used a ticket system, allowing guests at tables to step to the counter to easily redeem tickets for their next pour. I've previously visited on a non-event day and had great table service, but even during Grapefest, the winery was well-staffed, and my experience was just as enjoyable. I ordered a glass of cab and appreciated being able to sample it before committing to a full glass. They also offer some charcuterie-style plates, which were promptly delivered to my table after I ordered. Between the friendly staff, delicious wine, good snacks, and the chance to people-watch in the air conditioning on a busy event weekend, I couldn't have asked for a better time! The wine selections are plentiful therefore I suggest people start off with a tasting thats 5 for $10. They have wines for all paperas starting with red and white sweets, dry and in between. Their Yellow Rosé, which is a sweet white and their Pinot Noir which is a light red are the winners of several awards and some of their top sellers. The Texas which is a blend is quite bold with heavy tannins; perfect for your steak dinner! The winery has small plates for purchase on site. We met some old friends here tonight, our first visit to this place. On the whole, we enjoyed ourselves and had a good time. Some part of our visit were solid, but there were some misses too: High points: Our server was excellent, a lady with an engineering degree who is now an art teacher and a server here. The red wines we sampled were all solid (meritage, 5 casks, 15 year anniversary, and amarone), with the exception of the tempranillo, which tasted like it had turned with a bit of a vinegar in the finish. We also had a bottle of pinot grigio, which hit the spot on a hot summer evening. If you eat here, I recommend you choose the flatbreads, which far surpassed anything we found on the charcuterie board. Could have been better: the pours on the sampler flight were quite skimpy, south of one ounce each, barely enough to get a good feel for what each wine was about. Two of the four glasses delivered to us were caked with lipstick, somehow missed by the dishwasher, the person who shelved them, and the server. The charcuterie board was not good, both lean on quantity for the price and also of marginal quality, much like it had been sourced from a Sam's Club party platter. We don't regret coming here, but we'll likely look for options (our friends came from Messina Hof for a tasting, which they loved, before meeting us here) in the charming downtown Grapevine stretch. read more

One of the staff members told another table that in a few weeks there will be an outside patio with a fireplace and dog friendly.
