This is my first experience doing something like this. As soon as I walked in, the staff was very helpful. They went over the menu and suggested the wine tasting. I went with the suggestion and was glad I did. I loved sitting outside and listening to the live band. They were very good and interacted with the audience asking for song suggestions and playing off each other. Overall, a great experience. Definitely a place you'd want to visit for some music and wine. Good music, good wine, and great atmosphere.

Happy accident that ended up being great. Live music, the outdoors and wine are my favorite things. Such a beautiful place. I almost want to get married again just to get married here. I'm sure it's a beautiful venue for events and just as lovely for a day of chillaxing! I can't wait to go back!

This is a cool spot for wine tasting. The weather couldn't have been any better than yesterday's weather, except that there were a butt load of gnats everywhere, to where if you weren't careful, they would land in your wine glass, which happen to me twice. Other than that, the land is beautiful for enjoying a nice glass of wine and relaxing. We decided to do the wine tasting to try out their different wines and ordered a little snack, which was the hummus and spinach dip, which wasn't all that. The wines were ok, their cab is a little bit more on the sweet side. I prefer a dryer cab for my liking, but overall we still enjoyed our time here yesterday. Btw, I hear that the grounds are haunted. :) Lots of history there in that old house.

We had the perfect Spring day for sitting g outside drinking wine with friends. I was completely shocked that it wasn't packed for a Saturday afternoon in April. The staff was nothing but excellent. Super friendly and answered all our questions. Now we didn't do a tour but rather just a bottle of wine and an appetizer. I honestly can't remember what wine we had. That's a good sign huh LOL. I do remember it was really good. That charcuterie board was out of this world good. The presentation alone was so impressive when they walked out with it. So many choices and all so scrumptious. Our friends were very happy with their wine and actually bought a bottle to take home too. We will be back for sure! Oh....the outdoor area is beautiful. Even a covered patio to enjoy.

Visited to celebrate 34th wedding anniversary and was not disappointed! Great experience looking forward to visiting again very soon. The property is amazing, large oak tree and pecan tree, gazebo, large barn for events. Our wine tender, Chris, was very attentive and went out to the barn and brought the bottle of wine we ordered to our table. We also enjoyed the Teeter Twins live music. We will share our great experience with friends and will inquire about joining their wine club. Highly recommend the Grapevine White wine.

Came here with some girlfriends for some wine and live music. The ambiance is cute. I had the Texas Blush rose and it was good.

Hollowine Trail 10/27/18. We do ALOT of Grapevine wine trails because we live here and it's fun. Cross Timbers is consistently the best - best wine, best food, best location & service. Gorgeous Saturday afternoon sitting in their garden with some fantastic wine and wonderful food (Tommy Tamale). We ordered another glass of our favorite so we could stay longer. One of the first wineries in Grapevine and still successful ... there is a reason. If you want a beautiful, romantic and fun afternoon this is the place to be.

This was our last stop on our wine weekend. I am so glad that we decided to try Cross Timbers. What a beautiful location with delicious wines. The server was very knowledgeable about the different wines and provided a lot of good information. She explained that the owner made sure that each wine had the best quality of grapes. If those grapes were not of good enough quality, they might not make a certain wine for the season. That is why they no longer offer a Merlot. For $5 we received 4 one ounce pours. There was also the option of $10 for 5 one ounce pours with a free wine glass to take home. I was expecting the glass to be one of the tasting glasses, BUT it ended up being HUGE. Next time we stop by my husband and I will definitely get a glass. We ended up purchasing the Chenin Blanc bottle. I can't wait to open it up :)

Incredible. Spacious. Great music. Perfect outdoor seating. We will be back to celebrate my moms birthday! The grapevine red is delicious and and rosé is pretty great as well. Since we came during the pandemic they are not doing taste testing however look forward to trying more wines in the future.

We stopped in as an impulse when we passed by and saw the sign. The tasting area is tiny and the old house the winery is in doesn't feel as "quaint" as it does "outdated". Just didn't like the vibe. The wines were all good. Service was only adequate until a couple in the same age range as the server came in. Then he found every excuse to go by their table, which meant serving us.

This is a great little winery away from the other tasting rooms on Main St. The winery is very welcoming and has homey vibes to it, which I love. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's very relaxing. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the weather was amazing. We got 4 tastings and complimentary cheese and crackers for $8 per person. It wasn't overly packed and the people were very hospitable and made us feel welcomed. I definitely recommend trying out this winery. It won't disappoint!

You can save a couple of bucks on a glass of wine, but unless you have a day off during the week, it seems a bit inconvenient. However I WAS off on a weekday and popped in to give it a try. The service was really friendly and I ordered the smoked salmon crostini. I'm a sucker for smoked salmon and had not had lunch. It is a pretty hefty portion for $12 and comes with a side of olives, however it is a bit flat. They put a bit of oregano or something on it, but it is really just smoked salmon. No red onion or capers or tomatoes to kind of cut through the richness and brighten it up a bit. Tasty though. I tried a couple of reds before deciding on a glass. They are named after songs, but it is not listed on the menu, just the varietal and a description. I enjoyed the wine. More so than some of the other spots up and down Main street. The location is great though it is a bit bare on the decor. It definitely is not a comfy lounge, type of atmosphere. Also I had the receipt emailed to me and the price did not reflect any happy hour discount. I don't know if it is just for certain wines or if this was just an oversight, but I would check the next time I am in during their limited window. That being said, at the end of the day, the wine is good. The service is good. The people there seem knowledgeable about their wines and I enjoyed myself.

I also enjoyed their Zinfandel, which had notes of butterscotch and made for a refreshing drink. The tasting room also offers up tapas and charcuterie boards, as well as daily specials. Being a first responder, I qualified for a much appreciated discount. This business also offers specials for the ladies and for teachers. Exceptional all the way around and delivered with a personal attention you won't find as much of in the busier stretch of Main Street.
