This is my 2nd time doing this tour and I have to say this is a blast especially with a fun group. This time my husband got me a tour with my 2 bff and it was amazing! The bus group was a cool one too. After the 1st winery we were all happy and singing lol. The tour is around $150 per person and it includes 2 wineries (4 different wine tasting on each), a 3 full course meal at a steak house with 3 wine tasting at the restaurant and the bus trip to all the places. You get picked up at the embassy hotel at 5:30 and by 10:30 they are bringing you back. The restaurant was a disappointment. Last time the tour took us to a nice steak house. This time the place was a glorified TX Road house/sport bar and that is why I won't give them the 5 stars. But everything else was great and I will definitely do this tour again. read more

Landon's Winery was my absolute fave, Charles was genuine and truly loves what he does for a living. I loved that he offered cheese and bites with the wine tasting. Johnny, our guide Saturday 12/8) night was wonderful! It was obvious from the start that he takes the responsibility of making sure everyone has a good time very seriously. From the interesting commentary he provided as we drove along, to the professional way he kept us on schedule, he impressed me at every turn. On a side note, I was having a mini crisis that night, as my phone cord quit working and I was panicked about my phone dying, especially since I was flying home the next day & my boarding pass was on my phone. I asked him if he could stop by walgreens so I could pick up a new cord. He nicely explained that he couldn't deviate from the route, but he'd be glad to drive me there in his personal vehicle following the tour. I can't tell you how much that meant to me! So very nice of him. I was able to find a cord before the end of the evening, but the fact that he offered to help me - a complete stranger- is something I'll never forget! What a wonderful experience! My first Grapevine wine tour was a couple of weeks back for a friend's birthday. We met at the Embassy Suites on Bass Pro Drive where Leo -the driver - picked us up. He was the best! Fun and entertaining. For #129 we stopped at Cross Timbers Winery which is a historical place. That was way cool plus the wine was delicious. We then stopped at winewood for lunch and wine tastings. The food was very good. Wine was fine although they were a little light on the pours. Final stop was Landon Winery on Main Street. There was an area reserved for us in the back of the tasting room. I really enjoyed this wine as well. Took a couple bottles home. I highly recommend this tour company for special occasions or just because. I'd request Leo too! He was da bomb! read more

Celebrated a birthday on a Sunday afternoon for one of their lunch tours. It was absolutely fun! The tour guide was professional, personable, and provided a wealth of knowledge during the tour! We had an eclectic group of people that included newlyweds, girlfriends have a girl day out, and a couple of groups celebrating birthdays including my group! We went to three wineries and were able to try between 3-5 wines at each winery (white, red, blush, and desert wines)! We also went to Farinas and had a three course meal that included salad, main course, and dessert. Each winery we went to had great customer service! My friend and I had a wine tour this past Saturday and it was so much fun! We visited Messina Hof and wine was so good we each bought a bottle! Then off to Farina's winery & cafe, more wine and great food!! Last we visited Landon Winery in Coppell, TX. Bought more bottles on our way home. The atmosphere, the group we came with on our tour was nothing shy of AMAZING!!! One of the tour's best attributes was our Tour Guide, Leo. He kept the bus laughing and informed, Lots of laughs, fabulous wines and an all around great event!!! read more

The wineries were really great and you got a very fair amount of wine. I think this can vary, but you'll be in a large group usually sitting at a table with two or three other couples or a group of people. Our group was great. We made some new friends and had some nice conversations throughout the night. I would just be aware that if you're looking for a private date night or you're just not huge into socialization, this might not be the tour for you. Tour guide was amazing very funny and did a great job of accommodating everyone's needs. The dinner was decent. It was at a pizza place in downtown Grapevine. Nothing special food was OK. There were a couple choices, pizza, pasta dish, and a fish dish. You also got a flight of three wines at dinner. by the time you're eating dinner it's already very late so I would make sure you get a snack in before the tour or you have the option to get a snack at one of the wineries for price. (you get some cheese and dried fruit at the wineries but maybe like 3-4 pieces at each place )Overall, definitely worth it for the price and would do it again. read more

I had a great experience on this wine tour! Our driver was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the area and Texas wine. We did a tour on a Sunday and had lunch. We had 3 stops on the tour, and each was great. Everyone we encountered at the wineries was friendly and had great customer service. We were able to keep any purchased wine on the bus while we were out. The lunch was also delicious! It was so nice having everything taken care of at each stop. Also great being driven around. Definitely recommend trying this tour out! Would be great for anyone visiting Grapevine, a large group activity, or just a couple to go on. read more

Scheduled a bachelorette party of 10 girls through grapevine wine tours. I loved how flexible & accommodating they were with our reservation! I made 3 or 4 big changes (pick up location, number of guests, etc) & each time I had a request they were quick & efficient. The experience: we had a great time. Our tour took us to Homestead Winery & Su Vino. We had the opportunity to taste several wines at each place (Homestead was unlimited and Su Vino was 5 tastings) and ask questions about their wines. We spent around an hour at both wineries. Our last stop was at Winewood for dinner + more tastings. Winewood gave us a 3 course meal (salad of your choice, entree of your choice, & then the dessert special). They also had 3 wines for us to taste, which were fab. Food was delicious!! We were done with our tour around 10PM. Not only were we, but our bride, was thrilled with the experience. The overall consensus was that this tour was well worth the money! Grapevine wine tour was disappointing 1st stop was Messina Hof winery. They give you coupons for 5 wine tastings. My husband and I tore 1 ticket off and went to the bar - when we returned to our seat someone had taken the rest of our tickets! The place was crowded and seemed disorganized/ had to wait in line to get a tasting. No food (not even crackers were offered there). I have been to Messina Hof before- on my own - and a small wine tasting is much better! We doubled back to where we we were picked up ( a 15-20 minutes drive each way) and went to Landon Winery in Coppell. It would have made more sense to go there first. The wine there was very good and they appropriately added a small plate of cheese, crackers and olives. Last stop was Farina's (known for their pizza- not fine dining) Resturant. Dinner at 9 pm was too late for me and the wine tasting there was nothing special. You would be much better off just doing this tasting your on your own and ending your day at Winewood Resturant. read more

Today I celebrated my 45th birthday with a Grapevine Dinner wine tour. This was definitely worth the money. We were picked up at the Embassy Suites in Grapevine and shared the tour bus with a bridal party. I had a group of 8, and the bridal party had 9. The bus had comfortable seats and good a/c. Our bus driver/tour guide Sal was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive to all the guests but endured myself and the bride-to-be were well taken care of. He was not just the driver and your guide but our dj as well. He kept the party going on the bus playing music to get everyone singing and having fun. He was extremely knowledgeable about all 3 locations we visited: 2 wineries and last stop was the dinner spot. The entire tour was well organized and nothing short of extraordinary. Everyone at each establishment was extremely attentive to all of us and endured we felt special. I recommend trying this wine tour for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

The Best Way and possibly the only way to see and taste Grapevine. Book early and often. You visit two venues where you taste their vintages and then the last location will also let you taste theirs and eat dinner. We were invited by a friend to sign up for a tour of Grapevine wineries. We got picked up at the Hilton Dfw and had a nice ride to the wineries. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about Grapevine and its history. We are local but still learned a lot. All 3 stops were really great. Our guide took good care of us and helped us get what we needed. Everything seemed well planned out and professional. We tried a lot of delicious wine and some wonderful Italian food. We spent about 45 minutes at each winery which was just the right amount of time. It was so nice being driven from stop to stop. Absolutely wonderful time on this tour. Not being a wine connoisseur or very educated on wine or vineyards; I left with a wealth of knowledge from the guides both on the buses and at the vineyards we visited. All the vineyards visited were beautiful! I was able to sample such an array of wines from reds to whites to zins and even found a number of favorites! Great food too!! Grapevine Wine Tours was a FANTASTIC experience - from beginning to end! The service and execution of the tour are phenomenal. The shuttle picked us up at our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Grapevine (I believe they pick up at most area hotels), and dropped us back off once the tour was over. We stopped at three amazing wineries in downtown Grapevine. If you haven't been to Grapevine, it's a very quaint and historic area. Very fun to visit! Even though we have lived in Grapevine for several years, I had only been to one of our local wineries that was visible from Highway 121. But for our anniversary last week, my husband surprised me with a wine tasting and dinner tour on Grapevine Wine Tours. What a treat and so much fun! We boarded their bus with about 15 other people, several locals and some visitors from nearby hotels. As we traveled, our tour guide pointed out a number of historic sights in town that I had no idea about and gave a very good overview of Texas wines and wine making. Our guide was very cordial, and I was surprised to learn so many new things about places and activities in our adopted hometown. Our first stop was Homestead Winery, and on this tour they give you unlimited tastings! We both tried 7 or 8 wines and bought 2 bottles to take home with us. We were then transported to Su Vino Winery, a cute place on Main Street, where we had 5 more selections from their list and bought another bottle for my sister who was babysitting at home. By this time, we had a little buzz on and I was glad that someone else was driving. Everyone in the group had now become fast friends, and we were ready have some food. We had a delicious dinner and more wine at Farina's downtown, but I understand some tours go to different restaurants and wineries too. My folks are coming to visit during Christmas, and I can't wait to share this unique experience with them! read more

What a great way to end our week! We did our wine tour on Sunday evening and I must say everything was excellent! The staff, wine host, dinner meal was exceptional in flavor and over all excellent! Everyone remembered our names, open doors, held our bags, introduce etc! It's the little things that make the different and of course customer service! This was the best hospitality of a tour we have ever been on! Comfort of the bus is normal as hey it's a bus ... Your going for the wine and tour.
