Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. I've been to quite a few cigar lounges over the years, and I have to say, this is easily one of the nicest I've ever been to. I met James my first night and had a great time. I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next night and got to meet the owners, Gary and Leslie, and of course, the real boss of the place -- Rigby, the JR Terrier. The place is beautiful. The vintage decor is classy and gives the whole place a really cool, comfortable feel. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy a good cigar and a drink, and just relax. They even changed the channel so I could watch the NFL game. That definitely earned some bonus points with me! I had some great local whiskey while I was there, and on my third night Gary recommended a tequila that was absolutely fantastic. Gary knows his tequila! I ended up buying a piece of merchandise before I left, and honestly, I'm glad I did. It'll remind me of a place I really enjoyed. What really stood out to me, though, was the people. James, Gary and Leslie made me feel welcome from the beginning, and the whole place has a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I went in as a guy on a business trip looking for a good cigar lounge and left feeling like I had found a place I'd definitely come back to.
