First time ever to get up and leave during a meal.... We were eating at 902 Bar and Grill at Lake Kiowa and halfway through our meal, the owner props a door up with a chair... In 43 degree weather 4 ft from where we were sitting. When I said something about it he says, "y'all can get up and move over there" and points to the other room CLEARLY drunk. When I mention we're in the middle of eating, he says, "I'm paying for the meal, y'all can just go now..." So we did. It's really disappointing that a place we frequent at least twice a week would be that rude, but we'll never go back! You'd think somewhere that's changed their menu four times in the last year would think about service, but clearly they don't care. read more

This was a pretty middle of the road. I had the hangover burger with tots. The burger was decent, messy since the egg was more over-easy instead over over-medium. The tots however, were awful! They tasted like they had been cooked in an oven. Only slightly crispy on one side and mostly soggy and cool. The atmosphere was small town bar. I can imagine it is pretty busy on weekend nights. Have started going there for breakfast and am very pleased. Good variety on menu. Mediterranean omelette was so good I tipped the cook. Waitstaff has always been friendly. I would, like to see a better style breakfast potato, but that's just a personal preference. read more

The 902 Bar and Grill has the best cook staff they have ever had. The burgers are fantastic. They are offering keto-friendly choices which is a real plus. If you have not been in a while, it is definitely worth stopping by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have a very friendly staff and a fun shop next door with unique items. My husband and I have tried this place twice. First for dinner and about a year later for breakfast. First time, dinner, they were out of several things that we wanted to try. What we did eat was okay. Went there for the "breakfast buffet". Very little food and they were not going to replenish. Biscuit was a hockey puck. Hubs confirmed my suspicions that the eggs were powdered eggs. I had some sausage and 2 pancakes both items were like warm. Several people came in after us and they were still pushing the buffet. They have great burgers, but their customer service has been lacking a bit lately! They are super sweet and try to make it up to you! Can you give less than one star? Disabled American Vets, DO NOT GO HERE! We stopped and asked if we could take our service dog straight to the patio area to avoid disrupting other customers. They only had two other customers, but we try to be aware that some people do not like to eat with a dog nearby. I walked in and asked the waitress if we could bring the service dog to the patio. She looked at me like I was from Mars and asked another waitress nearby if we could bring a service dog in. They both hesitated, WAY WAY too long! You cannot refuse service to a disabled American! We had the disabled tag on our rear view mirror and the dog wears her harness! They finally said......."Well, but it better be a Service Dog!" That was the answer by the lady with dark brown hair. This was Saturday March 25th about Noon. How slapped in the face we felt! We left and vowed never to come back, EVER! I will hit some other blogs and make sure people know!
