Good fast service atmosphere and very good price. The portions are a little lacking though.

Rodeo Goat? You're probably thinking the same thing.... Why? And what in the world does it…read morespecialize in? Well- much to my chagrin... I was completely wrong. Maybe a Mediterranean style cuisine with shaved goat drizzled in tzatziki sauce with a Texan flair. I was wrong... but try gourmet burgers on for size. Burgers! Might I add- juicy, freshly made patties, and mighty tasty burgers! Man o man I loved the ambiance in a Friday evening. Came here with my son, who lives just across the parking lot at some urban apartments, and he was giving me his resounding endorsement so off we went. So glad I did! We both ordered the Bodacious Burger, layered in American cheese, bacon, heaping mounds of crispy onion, some grilled jalapeños, pickles, but I chose no BBQ sauce. Damn these burgers are thick thick thick and you can taste the homemade freshness with every bite. No frozen patties premade here. We ordered a single of hand punched fries dusted in parsley, salt, and Pepper. But, our waitress said it was enough for two, and she was spot on! Golden crispy fries were delish! I ordered their Old Buffagoat made with Buffalo Trace while my boy had a Vanilla Porter. All in all, great location, extremely friendly and immediate service, and more importantly, and no kidding- goatalicious with every bite!! As always, enjoy and Happy Eating!!

You would think that all Rodeo Goat food would be consistent. However, it certainly is not!…read more This spot in Denton is by far the worst of any Rodeo Goats I have visited. (Rodeo Goat in Plano and Frisco Texas are 5 star burger locations! Just saying.) Reasons: Ordered the queso and cheese dip. The chips unanimously were stale and old tasting. And to add insult to stale chips, the salsa has BEER added to it! OMG! Not sure how old this salsa was, but for food to bubble and sizzle on your tongue is an issue. That's fermentation! That's jacked up! Everyone had a different burger. All were different sizes. Another inconsistency. The patties were pretty small and were smaller than the bun. Not a big deal, but we all added additional items to our burgers. Jalapeños, pickles, and/or bacon. And of course every single burger was without what we requested. Burgers were still "just" ok even though we paid extra to customize each one. "Sigh". Attention to details can really make a difference. If you can't follow through with customizations, don't offer that as an option. This place is a fail. The only solid thing at this location is that the wait staff will take your initial drink order. After that, well you're on your own. You won't see them again till it's time to pay. I expected all RG's to be created equal and have the same standards. I was seriously disappointed. The hand punched fries are pretty good. Unfortunately, getting condiments such as something as simple as ketchup is pathetic. There is no teamwork here. Each server is on their own. Just an observation. Denton management is a huge fail at this location. Come-on. Y'all can do way, way, way, better. Especially, since there are additional burger joints in the area. Managers should be rounding tables. 2 stars for the fries and water with seating. Otherwise, this location is an overpriced McDonalds. Blah! July 2025

We've been to other RG locations and this was similar to those. It wasn't overly busy, so we were promptly helped. We started with the $6 HH special, Rattlesnake, which is a frozen marg with sangria swirl. It was heavenly! And at $6, sign me up for two! The burgers were as expected, fantastic. The ranch house was impeccable with that bacon/onion jam. Wish I had another. The fries, both sweet potato and regular were quite crispy and seasoned well. This is a burger place that has quite a selection to choose from and the food is quality.

My family and I decided to go to Rodeo Goat for lunch. We walked in, were politely greeted, and…read moretold to sit wherever we wanted. There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.

I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault. I'd definitely go again but I would also definitely get something other than the Hot Bastard - not because there was anything wrong with the Hot Bastard it's just the are so many good looking burgers on the menu I want to diversify!!!

They seemed to have a good amount of parking but thankfully it was walking distance away from my hotel. Order-to-Entree: 17 Minutes I easily found a table for two and there's ample indoor and outdoor seating. We got our beers pretty quickly, and our main courses came decently quickly as well. The burger was juicy and the sweet potato fries were solid. They've got an amazing diverse burger menu and I can see why it's a local favorite. Would definitely come back again.
