Amazing food. The burgers were so tasty! Service was on point and everyone was very nice. We sat outside by the lake and was an excellent view. Most definitely a place to come back

what a great rodeo goat with an amazing view right on the lake. The outdoor patio is amazing. the happy hour is also great with good deals on foods and drinks. The service was fantastic, our waiter was efficient, nice, friendly, and on top of everything. Really enjoyed the drinks. The food was a bit on the oily side for my taste, especially the fries. though others in my group really liked them. parking was pretty manageable as well!

Five Years, Five Stars: Rodeo Goat is the GOAT! This is a follow-up to my original review, and after years of delicious meals, the verdict is unchanged: Rodeo Goat serves the greatest burgers in North Texas. When we want a burger, this is the only name we ever consider. While all their locations are great, the Cypress Waters restaurant holds a special place for us. The stunning outdoor patio, which overlooks the lake, elevates the entire experience. That ambiance is matched by the top-tier service: the staff is diligent, attentive, and clearly works hard to ensure your glass is full and your dining experience is perfect. Rodeo Goat is the master class of the "trust the chef" philosophy. Their burgers are built with super-unique, sometimes daring ingredients. Embrace the adventure! The flavor profiles are explosive and incredibly satisfying. I promise you'll walk away happy. Make the trip to Cypress Waters (or any location near you). You won't regret treating yourself to the best.

Rodeo Goat is a popular regional burger chain in North Texas that serves epic burgers with cool names. The location at Cypress Waters has become my favorite due to its stunning view of Northlake. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Rodeo Goat carries a very casual vibe. On each visit, I was invited to sit anywhere. During the Texas fall and winter when the weather is cooler, I always try to sit outside. The covered patio has heat lamps above too. This result is a very welcoming atmosphere with great vibes all around. 1 Star. Service - I've never had bad service here. As soon as I sit down, a server will appear with menus. Every staff member is helpful, in a great mood, and fast! Food runners and the wait staff keep things moving quickly to turn the coveted patio seating. 1 Star. Food - I've recently become a big fan of the Cheese fries surprise. A bed of fries is baked in an oven with cheese, then topped with jalapenos and chives, and SURPRISE! Brisket Chili. Orders these ooey gooey beefy fries for your table, because if you eat too much you'll regret it. Part of the fun of ordering at Rodeo Goat is reading the menu and the names of the burgers. Nowadays, I order one of the "Battle of the Burgers" items. The Ozzmosis caught my attention as it was add breakfast items such as hashbrowns and a fried egg. But what really made this burger sing was raspberry jam. The subtle sweet and tart jam help cut through the heavy protein of the burger. And the egg? It kept everything moist. Prices have gone way up since Rodeo Goat first appeared on the scene, so heads up. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Prices may be high, but the quality of your burger is too. Rodeo Goat is one of my favorite burger joints in all DFW. The Battle of the Burgers keep me coming back. See you next month. 1 Star.

Ordered takeout here for myself and my daughter (2 years old). Service was quick and to-the-point, the dining room gives you the classic diner/burger-joint feel. This is a great spot for a good quality burger. For my daughter I ordered the grilled cheese with fries, I will say the fries have a tiny bit of spice to them which my daughter wasn't a fan of but I absolutely loved. Great spot for an easy bite with friends, family or alone.

Location of this restaurant is a clear winner - in Cypress Waters, next to The Sound with lake facing patio seating and indoor seating. A good selection of cocktails, beer and spirits - Moontang is their signature cocktail. Cheese fries, sliders are great appetizers. Whether you are looking for a salad or burgers, there something on the menu for everyone. Loved the Hatch Me If You Can burger with hatch green chilis. Service was great. The staff are constantly checking on tables and are efficient with drinks and the food orders. Parking can get tricky on busy evenings but there is plenty of street parking if you are fine waking for a couple of minutes. Overall a great place to hangout and spend an evening with friends.

We loved this place! There is something for everyone from super basic to a little over the top, whatever your flavor is. The burgers are 7 ounces which is pretty good size and you can make any burger, turkey, vegan or impossible which I loved. I'm all for options. It's a fun vibe a great place to have a drink and some food. The service was also very good. The burgers do not come with any sides which was a little disappointing considering most of the burgers are about $13 or more. Other than that it was great!

First time at this location, but my husband and I eat at Rodeo goat every few months, and we keep coming back. He loves to try the "battle of the burgers" and has enjoyed every one he's tried. I love that I can sub and impossible patty for any of the burgers. My favorite so far is the one with goat cheese and caramelized onions. The fries at other locations are hit or miss so we usually skip them.

The Rodeo Goat in The Sound is an awesome lunch spot for a casual and a great burger. The Hot Bastard is my go to and if you can handle the heat it has awesome flavor. I added the sweet potato fries, they are a must. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Make sure you stop by and give them a try. Enjoy!

The location of this burger joint is so cute and quaint. Loved that there was outside seating w a nice view of the water. Service was meh, a bit slow, and left us for long periods of time. Burger came out luke warm along with the fries. I tried the truffle shuffle and it could've used a bit more sauce. Salad looked amazing and ranch was fantastic.

    CHEESE FRIES SURPRISE
    Jason B.

Local recommended this joint and I had my team behind me just in case it all went south! Started with the cheese fries surprise... lots of toppings and a large portion, only complaint was the fries are a bit mushy, but all the flavors were good! I ordered the sugar burger (lived up to its name) and my colleague ordered the hot chicken sandwich (not at all hot)... both were good in their own way. Great local beer selection and a large menu, just wish the service was more attentive, and would have liked some hospitality. Ambiance is rodeo industrial, service was a miss, and prices exceeded the portion sizes..

Promotional burger to support our local PBS station

This was my first time to this location. I have only ever been to the one in Ft Worth near 7th. It doesn't have the same type of atmosphere. Frankly it looks a heck of a lot like the Flying Fish next door, of you aren't looking too close. It just seems to be missing a bit of personality. My friend and I came in to get the promotional Radio burger which they donated some of the proceeds to our local PBS station after they lost federal funding. Burgers and a good cause, we were in! The burgers were pretty good, however we both asked for the prickly pear BBQ sauce on the sice, which was a good choice. Neither of us were mad about it and it just stayed on the side. The service was JUST ok and the price point is really high. $14 for a burger without fries is a lot. They do big burgers with some crazy ingredients, but they aren't better than other burgers in the area. Though they are more expensive. Burgers are big business and there are tons of options. This just ranks in the middle for me. There is nothing here that brings out my inner Homer Simpson and compells me to return.
